A fusion of French and Southeast Asian design with a colonial flare would describe the style of this contemporary - yet classic - Vietnamese hotel. Located on Cua Dai Street, the Lotus Hoi An Boutique Hotel & Spa is a quick walk to the beach. The guestrooms of this boutique hotel all have their own private balconies as well as mini bars, satellite television, air conditioning, and refrigerators. Couples can enjoy romantic strolls through the nearby countryside or quiet dinners at the Hoian Lotus Restaurant. After a feast of local cuisine, move over to the bar lounge and end the evening with a few late night cocktails. The tour desk and helpful staff are available for tips on visiting nearby locations like the Myson Holy Land and Japanese Bridge.

Highly attentive staff in a great location ”
All of the members of staff (and there were MANY) were very friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect, complete with two balconies. Once you accept that it's the culture to be so highly attentive at breakfast (to the point of nearly stalking your empty plate before you have finished chewing), it's a great place to stay and I'd do so again.
Just like old Friends”
We arrived just after the tropical storm hit; the streets were all flooded, but our taxi driver got us there without incident. We have stayed here before and knew we wouldn't' be disappointed. The only negative remark would have to be about our bed; we're not as young as we once were (who is) and our bed was too firm to suit us. The staff was fantastic and Very friendly.
Every part of this hotel was excellent from the first greeting to last goodbye.”
Over 7 days there was a group of family and friends staying .(approx 30 people)Every aspect of this hotel is excellent From the Friendliness of all staff to the Resturant /Bar/Cafe..Nothing short of amazing how staff were always their to provide you with everything you needed .Whether it was just towels /drinks and snacks by the pool or directions in to town .Rooms were big and spacious .Cleaned every day.Highly recommend cooking classes and Sunday night buffet.Perfect for family with kids or just a couple or a group.Price including buffet breakfast is excellent value. We left there with the feeling we have made friends for life.I would highly recommend this hotel.
Do you want to feel at home while on vacay?”
We are a family with two young children and we stayed at Lotus Hoi An for a week during the easter break! Needless to say that we will definitely come back as the staff is beyond AMAZING!!! They were very careful with us, always making sure we have what we need and helpful, and important information in Vietnam ( you don't get this even in 4, 5 star hotels!) they all had a SMILE on their face and a sincere (not just touristy!). Our children, aged 5 years old and 14 months were very happy and so were we; we would definitely come back and miss the staff dearly already! However we had some problems with agoda (unfortunately thus will no longer use this service) but the Hotel made it up and found for us a solution, again big heads up to the staff!
Warm Friendly Staff”
The staff were the best I experienced in Vietnam. Warmest of greetings and always friendly and happy. Nice restaurant, nice bar and pool. Always a bike available to ride to beach or u could get free shuttle from resort.
Lotus in Hoi an ”
Loved the pool-we used it multiple times a day! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little outside the market area but has shops, bike rentals around it. The food in Lotus is very good we had a few dinners we enjoyed very much - eggplant clay pot!!
Lotus hotel spa boutique ”
Love the pool! Love the breakfast! Very good staff! Great shuttle service to the market. The hotel has motorbike and laundry services across the street and some restaurants/ cafes. We meant to stay for 2 nights but extended another 4!
Great Hoi An Stay”
If you are staying in Hoi An I highly recommend staying at this hotel-I promise you won't be disappointed. Our only wish was that we had been able to stay longer. We booked a two double bed room which was furnished nicely and the bathroom had plenty of amenities. There was a lovely pool with service available. We spent most of our time at the beach or in town. There is a great hotel shuttle available that we put to good use. Also, we utilized the free bike rentals and rode into town. I highly recommend using the bikes if you get the chance. The staff, especially the bartenders were extremely friendly and always offered to assist with any of our needs. One night my husband wanted to play pool and the bartender overheard and offered to join him in a game. The free breakfast was included with our stay and it was unbelievably delicious and offered plenty of choices.
Location, helpful staff, clan room!”
Location, staff, great breakfast, free shuttle and bicycles! We booked for 2 nights, but stayed 6 nights and it was fantastic! The staff was excellent and helpful. Very good location – between beach and city centre. Quiet. Comfortable, clean room with great balcony, breakfast was excellent. We used bicycles (free) and went everywhere on them, it's such a fantastic way to see this gorgeous little town and nice beaches.
Happy Australians made happier”
We loved Lotus Hoi An hotel so much we booked an extra 3 nights to stay longer and relax. Close to beach and cheap taxi ride to town. Breakfast Vietnamese lessons from friendly staff:) free shuttle service, wifi & bicycles. Beautiful experience.
Good value Hoi An accommodation”
I enjoyed my stay at the Lotus Hoi An Hotel and spent 5 nights there. It is in between the Beach and Old Town and the hotel offers a shuttle bus service. However, if you want to be right near the Old Town and restaurants, this may not be the best choice for you. I had spent three nights closer to town before this so had done my early morning/late night walking around the Old Town. I really enjoyed having the two balconies and the pool area to relax in. The service and breakfast were also excellent.
Great little place to stay”
Me and my partner stay'd at this hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed every bit of it, it is quite a large hotel but very well set out and very relaxing. Location is quite good, only a small (free) bicycle ride to old town one way and the beach the other, overall very happy with Lotus Hoi An.
Highly recommend,great hotel w friendly,help staff”
I just sum this hotel in just a few words: beautiful views, fabulous staff, nice pool. A wonderful location with free shuttle bus, free bicycles, free internet access, free welcome drink. It's really easy for you to go to the old town and to the beach too ( so-called private beach) The buffet breakfast is fresh and plentiful each morning, serving a variety of food to suit any international tastes Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I had a wonderful room that had a balcony opening up to pool view, So lovely! The room was quite spacious, clean & confortable. Lastly, whether you are traveling as a family or as a couple, this property is first-class and worth the investment. I would absolutely stay here again if we get back to Hoi An Ancient Town! Hope this review helps another first-time visitor to Hoi An like us!
Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Staff, Great Va”
I've stayed several times in Hoi An during my visits to VIetnam. But this time my regular hotel was undergoing renovation so I picked the Hoi An Lotus Hotel after viewing it online and we booked this hotel at very short notice and got a great discount on the room (42%). Location of hotel is about half way between the beach and the old town, there is a free shuttle to both at various hours during the day. What a wonderful place to relax and feel at home. What really makes this place is the staff, they are very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and quiet, the room was well kept and well serviced, the pool was clean and attended to at all times & open until late, the breakfasts were excellent and the staff were very friendly. We ate in the hotel one evening, and yes more expensive than in town or nearby, but quality was good, the spa was good too. We had a week in Hoi An and Hoian Lotus Hotel was the perfect place to stay and one of the best we had in Vietnam, the staff were extremely helpful. We would definitely return.
Very quaint hotel and staff very friendly”
This hotel was very quaint, we would stay there again. Internet access in foyer, and staff would turn fans on before you had even sat down. Pool area was really lovely, I spent many hours there. The staff was very friendly and happy and helpful. Restaurant often closed at the time we wanted to eat our night meal (9pm) but very good restaurant next. I recommend you go in and say hello to Mr Long and his family. Food cheap and fantastic. A little out of the way for the tourist area but it was only a $3 cab fare and they did have a shuttle bus to take you to town and the beach.
Really nice hotel: food, room, service”
We stayed there for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The room is nice and clean. The restaurant is excellent and the service is very good. The location could be better but they have shuttle for free. Half an hour walking from the city.
Great hotel, great room”
20 mins leisurely walk to the city center or ~1-1.5km by walk. if you find the distance troubling, rent a bicycle or scooter. the free breakfast every morning and free internet were added bonuses. consider organising a tour with an external party vs with the hotel. their rates will probably be higher. the room was pretty good; comfortable and clean. i traveled with my 22 y.o. sister and two other friends of mine...
my friend and i only stayed at the lotus hotel one night however we wished we stayed longer! rooms were very nice! gardens and pool area was beautiful. all staff were extremely helpful and always happy to chat. free bus runs to and from hotel into shopping area. loved every minute staying here! breakfast we very yummy! good value for money! would definatly stay here again!
Lovekly Hotel, well appointed”
Very nice Hotel and a gr8 place to go even though it rains a lot in the winter. It is not cold but the Streets of Hoi An do get flooded sometimes. Thongs are a good idea if not mandatory. The suits will cost you and tye womens clothes are very reasonable and made to measure. We found Blue Eye quite good and reasonable, the are in the street past the bus station to the left about 80 meteres, across from Yali. If you want shoes they will take you across the road for made to measure shoes also. Tell them Pappa and Momma sent you and you will get a discount, they promised, the will live up to their promise. Cooking class at Red Bridge was excellent and the town tour whih includes 5 or 6 sites was worth it, although we did take an english speaking guide for a few extra dollars and we thought that this was well worth the additional expense. In summer the hotel is 1.5 klms from the beach so it would be ideal in the summer months. Enjoy, we did.
Too far from where you want to be”
We waited too long to do the reservation and when we did, most hotels with good ratings were full, they are mostly small places. We arrived on a Sunday, and the desk staff was clearly the emergency crew. The regular crew turned out to be better and more helpful. The best of this hotel is the little restaurant next door (to the left when exiting the hotel)Meeting the owner, Ha, and eating there was the highlight of our stay, besides visiting Hoi An which is quite marvelous.
