      loved this little hotel”
      staff, breakfast, location
we stayed here a couple nights, and the location is close to a lot of great food and easy to find a taxi to get to the pagodas. Everything in Yangon is very expensive and this hotel was very well priced. The rooms are super clean, and the owners are wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

      clean, friendly, budget
I was very positively surprised. I chose a very cheap hotel, but it was very clean, very friendly english speaking staff, well located, close to Insein Road, which leads to anywhere in Yangon basically. Internet worked and the room was very satisfying. Still a budget hotel, but one where I didnt have any negative experiences. Just the way it should have been.Big thumb up for the friendly staff!

      Worth money to stay”
Warm and caring service, clean room with good bed and 24 hrs free wifi
It was my good time to stay at Majesty Hotel. Staying here made my Yangon trip even better. It was a small family-business hotel which just recently open around a couple of weeks before my visit. The hotel owners and their staffs were very friendly, attentive and helpful. They were welcome to arrange a trip to other cities. Staying here made me feel at home. The room was big and clean (comparing to a few other hotels I stayed in Yangon earlier this year). Well furnished and well equipped with good air-condition, hot water, TV with CNN, refrigerator, big bathroom, 24 hrs free wifi, comfortable bad and clean bed stuffs. They served everyday a drinking water, hot water and two sachets of instant coffee or Myanmar tea. Breakfast here was home-cooking, everyday they served toast and fried eggs, Myanmar breakfast, fresh fruits, coffee, Myanmar tea and green tea. The location was good for me as it is close to Yangon University in a walking distance. It was easy to take a taxi to visit tourist attractions. There are local market (Hledan Market), local department store, many local restaurants and local bakery around hotel area. It was worth money to stay here. I definitely stay here whenever I visit Yangon.

      Very simple accommodation ”
Hotel is a converted 3 storey house. Rooms furnished with simple wooden furniture. Cupboard are only chest height with few hangers. Toilet looks old and water pressure is poor. Having said the above, Majesty Hotel serves simple breakfast for guest. It is a 10mins walk from Hledan Centre and just across GMP shopping mall. It is only good for business travels.

      Attentive service, home-cooked breakfast, clean
Hotel is old colonial style house that has been renovated nicely. Still has colonial feel - spiral staircase, balconies, high ceilings. Location was good since we had people to see in the University area. Staff were very helpful (calling taxi, helping with luggage, fixing dripping air con in the room, resetting Wi Fi router. Breakfast was mostly Burmese which we enjoyed. Wi Fi was stable for the most part.

It was the best choice for a one day transit, with a one day city tour. We had very strange flight schedule, so we had to arrive and departure early and late, but the staff arranged us a taxi, and woke up to help taking out our luggage. Credit card payment is possible.

Like visiting a relative's home, but far from town”
Tasty breakfast, lovely family, small and quiet
I really loved the warm feeling that when you are staying at the Majesty Hotel, you really are in someone's home and you almost feel like part of the family. Grandma was trying to fatten me up the whole time (it worked), offering me extra toast and more omelette every morning and I loved having a giggle with the baby. The hard thing for this hotel I think is going to be that as Yangon's traffic deteriorates, its distance from town (which would only be 10mins without traffic, but once took me over an hour) is going to become more and more prohibitive. I would be back in a heartbeat if it was right in town and closer to the restaurants etc there. Still, it is conveniently close to Hledan Junction - so there are food places around - and is closer to the northern part of Inya Lake and the airport.

Enjoyable stay at a friendly hotel”
Hospitality and kindness of the owners, their wish to help with any issue, the tasty breakfast.
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel, in July 2014. We were satisfied with our stay especially due to Nay (the owner) for his kindness and wish to help with every issue we had (irrelevant to the hotel and services). This is a small family business and it shows (the guests are treated as friends). Nay's mother prepares delicious breakfast which (though limited in variety) every day has a different local dish (e.g. mohinga or green tea leaves salad) which was the most delicious of all we tasted in Myanmar. Cleanliness of the room was above average (for Myanmar standards), although there were some plumbing problems with the bathroom. The location of the hotel, though not in the center, is an easy 2.5-3$ taxi drive from downtown (could be a little tricky for the driver to find the place).

The breakfasts are a culinary journey of Myanmar; hotel is siuated in a vibrabt student area near Yangon University- great cheap eats; warm, caring adorable staff who speak first rate English
I couldn't have asked for more. the owners are warm, educated and refined people who show genuine concern and warmth for their guests. It's a lovely looking boutique hotel in one of the more unique parts of Yangon - explore the neighborhood - it's delightful. Also very convenient for the airport.

      value for money, friendly, Cozy
I liked the wide windows and quite a big room with reasonable price compared to other hotels in Yangon nowadays. Also the surroundings are quiet. But there's some inconvenient things; Not easy to find. It's inside the small road. The sign should be bigger. Some mechanical problems such as shower temperature, manually switched air conditioner.

Shabby hotel with super friendly staffs”
Close to the airport, friendly staffs, take-away breakfast.
In general, the hotel is not worth the value considering the old and shabby rooms and the dark and badly equipped bathroom. But then the exceptional nice and friendly staffs make up for it, especially with the nicely packed takeaway breakfast that we requested for our early flight the next day, among other help they offered.

      Good family run hotel ”
Location near airport, breakfast, attentive staff
It is very close to airport area and to northern yangon. If you arrive late at airport in evening, this can be a good place to stop over for the night. Cost is optimum when compared to high prices (owing to low number of hotels in yangon). The room and bath are very basic and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and cordial. They even arranged early breakfast for me as I had to leave early than scheduled breakfast time. Only draw back was that air conditioner took almost 2 hrs to start working and cool the room down

Not Bad, Hard To Find From Main Road”
      Breakfast, Staff, Internet Relatively Decent
Considering the price of things in Yangon, I feel that this hotel is adequate. The internet was slow, but faster than I had imagined to be based on friend's stories of Yangon. Staff was very nice, and the breakfast was very nice and relaxing on the top floor. However, the location was a bit odd (U-turn, then turn left at the huge pile of garbage! Hooray!)and I felt that the price didn't reflect the location. I would pay that amount for a hotel downtown, but not so much for this location. On a second visit to Yangon, we found a better hotel about a mile from Shwedagon that was the same price.

Staff is super nice and helpful, very clean rooms, relative close to airport
I had a very good stay at Majesty Hotel. It's is relatively close to the airport, steps away from local restaurants and shops. Staff is truly great, very friendly and helpful. I needed to make an urgent international call and they went out of their way to help me out. Rooms are spacious, and they even have a flat screen tv with a few cable channels (comes in handy when taking a break from 42C weather!). Would definitely recommend.

It's excellent!! The rooms are cleanliness and big. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They served us the breakfast at room because our family had the old men who could not go to have breakfast at the 4th floor. The hotel owner understand our situation and give us the good service. In the second night, we arived hotel around 11.30 PM, and we need a translater for our driver, the hotel owner's already go to bed but he still help us with smile. We are really appreciate Eventhough, it shows only one star in agoda but I think this hotel should get 3-4 stars. It's the budget hotel which I strongly reconmend. (^o^)//

My second stay at the hotel.”
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, close enough to the airport
This was my second stay at this hotel. I spent my first night in Yangon at this hotel before flying to Sittwe to catch a boat to Mrauk U. I was so impressed with the staff's friendliness and honesty that I decided to spend my last two nights in Myanmar at this hotel. While it is a little far from downtown, it did offer me a chance to see a different aspect of Yangon. Most major attractions are a short cab ride away and shopping is a nice walk on a crowded and uneven sidewalk. Unfortunately, during my stay there was some construction taking place nearby, but I cannot fault the hotel for than. Yangon is a growing city after all. Breakfast was great and, as mentioned before, the staff is so friendly and helpful. I hope to book this hotel again if ever I am lucky enough to go back to Yangon.
