Margaret River hotels & places to stay

We were very pleased when we entered the room as the rooms are well-designed. We booked the special access room as we have young kids and thought it would be better if we do not have stairs in the room. It was a wise decision. The bathroom was very spacious and there was a spa bath tub and a standing shower in the bathroom. The king size bed was enough to sleep 2 adults and 2 young kids. We rented dvds to watch. The kitchenette was also well-equipped and they even provided us with 2 high chairs for our kids. Great central location as it is close to everything you need in Margaret River town. Be it supermarkets (coles, IGA, woolsworth), eateries or target. Do visit Margaret River Bakery that is just across the road if you stay there. It’s a wonderful place for breakfast. The only downside was the weak WIFI that kept disconnecting. We ended up not using the WIFI at all during our 2 night stay. Apparently, the network is affected due to re-wiring. Still, highly recommended!

This motel has all that a visitor could want and need at an affordable price. From the warm welcome we received on arrival to the fantastic well appointed motel room we stayed in this place is the best we have ever stayed at in Margaret River. The restaurant with its warm fire place is the spot to park yourself after a day of indulgence at the wineries, brew houses, chocolate factories and cheese factories of the Margaret River region. We will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived fairly late at 630pm, after visiting the vineyards in Margaret river. The reception was friendly and had upgraded us from a studio to a 2-bedroom. The rooms were very clean, spacious and very comfortable. Beds had electric blankets and we had very good sleep on them. The rooms are equipped with cooking pots and utensils, so you can cook here. However, you will have to get your own oil, salt and pepper. The only thing I would change is the rectangular handles on the drawers and cabinets which can be quite sharp. I think the best part is that grand ocean views are just round the corner from the resort. For example, at white elephant cafe near gnarubup beach, ocean view road and the surfer's point look out. The ocean views simply take my breath away. You don't really have any shops nearby so you will have to stock up from the supermarket in town before going over. There is one restaurant at the resort. However, you may need to drive out a distance if you do not want to eat there for dinner. I think having a car is quite necessary if you want to stay here. We used the resort as a base to move out to several vineyards, up north and down south. It is also quite close to the sunflower farm, which my daughter really enjoyed. Overall, the resort is conveniently located for our needs. Very comfortable stay and near to great ocean views. Will come back again.

Very easy to find and 50 metres away from the start of the main street in Margaret river. Some locations described as Margaret river are actually miles away from the town. Staff were very helpful and secure parking beyong access gates is free for resident guests. Our room was immaculately clean and the balcony which had a table and 2 chairs overlooked the pool. We returned a week later for another 2 nights and this time our balcony overlooked the woods and was a lovely quiet view. Our room was studio unit and had a microwave, fridge, eating accessories, room safe etc all you need for a comfortable stay.

We loved our stay at Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay, this place was even better than the reviews. The farm is a short 5 minute drive from town but feels like another world! We stayed in the studio and it was spacious, spotless and well equipped (including a welcome bottle of wine and the most delicious Orange Juice ever!). The Manager Lisa was extremely helpful with accommodating our check-in time, giving great suggestions on where to dine and only ever a phone call or SMS away to help. The animals on the farm were the most loved animals I'd ever seen, they looked in pristine condition and were so happy. The highlight of our stay was seeing them all line up in the morning for a feed. Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay would be perfect for longer term guests due to the location, value and amenities. We are definitely staying here next time we are in the region!

We were a 12-person family with young kids staying in 4 different rooms. The accommodation was everything we needed for our 4 night stay at Margaret River. The varying rooms suited each family's needs though our favourite was room 9 (2 bedroom suite) as it was spacious enough for everyone to hang out and had a full kitchen! Location was fantastic! Woolworths was just 2min away. Drift Cafe (3min away, 10% discount) had great food and coffee! Being in Margaret River, the rooms were equipped with drinking glasses which suited us well :)

Excellent stay. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an accommodation to hop on to winery tours in Margaret River. Absolutely love Morries Anytime, which is just a stone-throw away from the accommodation.

During our 3 night stay in Margaret River Beach Apartment, everything was great! We travelled with 2 young children and they loved the bathroom with spa bath and the close proximity to the beach. The accommodation was nicely furnished with big comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. It was central and easily accessible to Margaret River Town Centre, the wineries and the sights. Definitely recommend to return for our next stay.

Dirk and Pam are wonderful and welcoming hosts who have created a lovely place to rest and relax while exploring the Margaret River area. They are more than happy to suggest insightful itineraries and offer advice and equally happy to just leave you in peace and let you get on with it. The breakfast is simple but extensive and extremely well done. The kids loved having the garden to run around in and chase the dogs, ducks and anything else they could find. A real home from home. When I return to Margaret River to explore some more this will certainly be the first place I consider staying. Just what you need and none of what you don't.

my first stay in margaret river and it was a great. bought the 2 nights stay from agoda and didn't regret it at all. didn't watch telly on the first night but did on the 2nd night, however, didn't get the channels. the owner of the cottage was passing by looking for his dog, (which we saw an hour before) so we told him about the tv. he tried to fix it but he said wife is better at fixing it and will ask the wife to come over. the wife came less then half an hour time and tv was fixed my partner and i was very happy with the promptness. the bed was comfortable, the breakfast start up was a kind gesture from the cottage management. overall, i would have to say it was a very pleasant holiday for my 40th, we have all the privacy we wanted away from the city. the kangaroos and cows welcomed us every time we drive in through the small road towards the cottage. i would recommend anyone who would like to have a calm, relaxing holiday with your loved ones at bussells bushland cottages. it is well equipped and you will feel at home away from home

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The room was clean. The staff greeted us and made us feel welcome, offering advice to make the most of our limited time. The Comfort Inn Grange on Farrelly is quite close to the main street of Margaret River so that we could explore and find somewhere nice for and evening meal. Margaret River is central so that we could explore the coast and the southern cape. It was an excellent choice. I would stay there again.

Stayed in the deluxe cabin. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Close enough to main strip in Margaret River. Great value!

hidden away from the bustle of the margaret river main drag this was a perfect respite for a weary couple and a baby - silence only broken by the kookaburras, watching the possums eating the carrot we left out, spying wild kangaroos on drive way - paradise!

We were a family of 5 adults and totally loved this very clean, easy to access and well equipped apartment. It's a mere 8-10 min walk to Margaret River city centre and it's a great place to be based to explore the region. There are great wineries within a short drive away. I liked that everything worked and went well, hassle and problem free place and stay. Very pleasant, cosy and comfortable. Really liked it and highly recommend it to others.

Brilliant location, quite and easy to find but still out of the hussle and bussel of Margaret River. Decor and cleanliness is amazing. Fenced yard for our dogs as well as a basket of toys. Having stayed on Margs, Prevelly & Yallingup many times before this accommodation we recommend to anyone with dogs and or kids. Great walk to the beach, close to general store, 10mins drive to Margs. Can hear the ocean and wood fire for winter. Best holiday we have had because we could bring our dogs. Thanks again!!

We booked one of the nicer rooms at the back with the view of the forest, and it was beautiful. Woke up to the scenic beauty of the karri trees, my friends went out for a walk in the early morning and enjoyed themselves, and the room was in such close vicinity to the main town. It was on the same road, in fact! Breakfast was meh. I liked that they had local produce like the Margaret River cheese, yoghurt, toasts, and cereal. We were looking forward to something more savoury though, even a little eggs perhaps. But all in all, we had a fabulous time in Margaret River. Best thing about the room was the spa tub, where you can also open the sliding window at the side linking to the room, and watch the telly! :D

keith and jane ensured that our short stay in margaret river was filled with things to do. they booked restaurants , made sure we knew what was possible (for example when we arrived they advised us to get down to prevelly point to see the sun go dwon over the indian ocean), we also hired the rolls- royce and that made for a splendid trip around the wineries breakfast was varied and very well cooked and served.

Hi everyone and your lovely cat, "You"? Haha She was absolutely lovely and she came to visit us in our Merlot room which was great because we love cats! We had a wonderful stay and we felt spoilt having the shared lounge area and kitchenette so we could make a cup of tea. Our room was lovely and cosy which was great with the cold weather! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We are so glad we were able to stay with you. Our daughter organised our booking as she had stayed with you before and was very impressed. We hope to be able to come down to Margaret River again and hopefully stay for longer next time. We only had a couple of days free this time after attending a wedding in Pemberton. This place was relaxing and decadent with stunning views, a great spa that overlooked the hills where you could see the sunrise, in a studio that attracted natural sunlight all day long. Each studio is intimate and quiet providing respite from the busy world. Located 10 minutes from Margaret River town, in close proximity to the wineries and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

For a family of 6 adults it's not easy finding a place with the sleeping arrangements and common spaces we want within reasonable price. This place served it's purpose well. It was quiet enough for bird watching, dark enough for star gazing, close enough to walk to dinner, and homey enough to argue over the a home cook meal. It also feels luxurious. The staff are very helpful too. Beware the coin-operated dryer doesn't seem to run for more than 20 mins, but the dry weather dried off the clothes overnight.

Stayed in this cosy B&B for 2 nights. The room was fantastic: nice and clean with a big comfortable bed and the door even opens up to a nice little front porch facing a lawn. Location is in a quiet neightbourhood and a mere 2 minute walk to the main street of Margaret River town, meaning that you get access to all that the town has to offer without compromising your rest at night. Pete the owner is as friendly and accommodating as they come and the breakfast was excellent. Only slight downside for us was that the bathroom can be a little chilly at times at night. Nonetheless, would still recommend this charming B&B to anyone looking for accomodation in Margaret River.

Fancy in all the right places! Has to be one of the best places I've stayed. The staff are excellent with a genuine sense of hospitality. While we didn't use the full communal kitchen and dining area it would be great to meeting other guest as well as visit with a large group. The rooms are spacious, simple but modern. What I loved most is everything smelt clean and fresh. If you're going to stay in Margaret River, look no further!

We are a couple travelling with 2 young children & were awed with the chalet the minute we stepped in. Big layout with modern & new decor and furniture. It is quiet enough and abt 10 -15 mins drive to Margaret River town where we did our grocery for our own cooking. As we came during winter its quite cold during shower time as there's no heater in the toilet but it helps that we have electric blankets! Not many places provide this. One thing that can be improved could be the blinds to cover the bathroom top windows as it can feel quite exposed esp at night when u can't see even if someone's peeping in. Besides this, nothing much that we can find any fault with.

There is walking trail right at the side of the property leading to a waterfall. Wild kangaroos around the premises makes it a real Aussie experience. Splendid place to stay.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Losari Retreat, in a Botanica Spa Villa this July, with our 3 month old daughter. The facilities are absolutely amazing with every detail thought of, from the heated flooring in the bathroom, beautiful eco fire, coffee machine with pods to the fully appointed state of the art kitchen. The weather was wet and windy, which we actually enjoyed and were always warm with the fire and revere cycle air conditioning and loved sitting undercover in the hot outdoor spa with steam rising, rain falling outside and enjoying a glass of wine. The grounds are absolutely stunning and really showcase the best of the native Margaret River countryside combined with European fauna and are beautifully landscaped. Perfect for walks with the little one in between rain showers. Losari is located just outside of town, far enough to be away from the roads and noise but just 10 minutes to the main street for a dinner or two and close to wineries for the odd tasting. However we found we spent most of our time in the villa, enjoying the facilities, relaxing, enjoying a wine or two and cooking for ourselves with the amazing local produce. Deb and Ben (owners) are extremely passionate about providing the best experience possible for their guests and couldn’t have been more welcoming. It felt more like staying with family or close friends than with strangers and you really get the best of both worlds. We were left alone enough so we felt like the only people in the world yet knew they were only a short walk or call away to make sure you have everything you could ask for, from in house massages which we so relaxing to the amazing breakfast hampers prepared by Deb which were just incredible and so delicious! This coupled with a complimentary bottle of bubbly, from the nearby Brygon Reserve winery, that awaited us on arrival made us feel very spoilt indeed. All in all, a stay at Losari is well worth every penny and we will definitely hope to return

We just had a fantastic time staying at Adamson's the room and bathroom were very spacious and we had a nice little outside sitting area in front of our room, but still pretty private. We had breakfast at the Trattoria just across the street was just so convenient and yum. Location is great, just walking minutes from all the restaurants and shops in Margaret River. We really enjoyed our stay at Adamsons.

Very nice farm and quiet place. Very nice bungalow with nice facilities like BBQ, kitchen, dish washer, wood fire place. Awesome place and highly recommended.

This place was a bit hard to find as it was the 2nd floor of the restaurant. You have to check in through the restaurant and get the key from them. It's located in the town of Margaret River so you can easily go somewhere. Especially, I loved the spa bathroom! So relaxing !

Great place to spend some time away from the main street - felt like we were on our own with the convenience of being in town. Hosts that take time to check everything is OK. Highly recommended.

Great home for holidays with the family or for three couples. Beautifully appointed with everything you could need, very comfortable and close to town, only five min walk to the Tavern, shops, restaurants.
