Value for money”
Decent resort. Not much to offer other than a room to sleep. The rooms are spacious, location is good, breakfast included is nothing special with just eggs, bread, jams, etc. Would recommend to those looking for a relatively cheap place to stay near the crab market , national park and sailing club. If you're looking for luxury definitely not your place
location location location”
You're just 5 minutes walk to the Crab Market from here. The pool is a good break in the afternoon, and even the beach proper is only 20 minutes on foot. Do it by tuktuk, and it's a blink of the eye. And their breakfast is excellent.
Would highly recommend and will return”
We thoroughly enjoyed our short visit and will return for longer. Rooms large, airy, comfortable (and air con) Very leafy, colourful, shady garden grounds. Pool, lounging, dining all in close proximity and with ocean and sunset view. Excellent, obliging staff. Will be even better when new menu in place as currently had to order in . . . but we loved it
We were very pleased with the Mealea. The resort is situated very near the Crab Market at Kep and has nice clean rooms, friendly staff and a relaxing pool. It is quiet and tranquil for those who need to get away from the hustle of the town. I'll be back.
Excellent hotel we had the suite with a private courtyard with a plunge pool. So romantic! The location is excellent just across from the crab market with its restaurants. About 1 km from the bus stop and bakery very quiet. Staff were very good. The only improvement would be a couple of bedside lamps.
Walking distance from pub street”
Easy walking to pub street and market. Food ok, room clean, staff friendly
Excellent quiet resort facing the sea. ”
Very good location, just across the road from the Crab Market and restaurants. Breeze from the sea throughout the day. Staff are very efficient and friendly. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Excellent retreat from the bustling world.
A great place in Kep”
This place is great. The views of the bay are brilliant, the small swimming pool is lovely, and the rooms are very comfortable, large and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the owner is friendly and very helpful. On top of that, the place feels private and quiet. Definitely a strong recommend.
A wonderful find in the best location ”
I booked this room while my parents were visiting Cambodia for the first time. I picked this based on the great reviews, and it's proximity to the crab market. We were absolutely delighted with our stay here - the property only has 10 or 12 bungalows, so although it seemed like all the rooms were booked it was quiet and relaxing. While in the pool you look right out at the ocean. Each morning in the breakfast area, you are also right across the street (a quiet street) and can watch the fishing boats come in to drop off their findings to the market. Very tranquil. We stayed in a 3 person room (1 double and 1 twin) and the room was a great layout for us as the twin bed was in a separate corner. It felt like we had a bit more personal space while staying together. The staff is wonderful - they have recommendations for private tours and we were very pleased with our tuk tuk driver and guide. Everything felt very personalised. We are already talking about our next stay at P
Closest accommodation to Crab Market”
Great location. Restaurant is only open for breakfast but only 100 metres to Crab Market. Breakfast menu is little bit limited but great location overlooking the sea. Nice pool and liked the tropical gardens around bungalows. Bathroom is partially open air which could cause a problem during rain storm but is nice otherwise.
Stayed three nights in the 'atap' roof chalet. We found it spacious, clean and the 'outside' bathroom novel! Staff were very helpful and friendly. convenient location to good eateries and crab market. A great getaway gem.
Perhaps more then 3-star”
The resort is opposite the crab market, close to all the excellent little restaurants. The very helpful and friendly owner was outstanding just as well as all of his staff. They made our stay very pleasurable and we will definitely return if in Kep next time. Nice bungalows, swimming pool, tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.
Excellent staff and service”
Very friendly and helpful owner and his staff made the stay really enjoyable. We will definitely return if back in Kep. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast. And once again - the staff. Thank you to you all.
Good staff, good location”
our room was big and comfortable, the pool on the small size and not enough sun beds. Breakfast was simple, not much variety. The staff were all very friendly and the manager was particularly happy to talk.
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable week at MeaLea Resort.the gardens are beautiful with a lovely pool that looks out to sea .Bungalows were comfy with a nice patio. Breakfast was served on the Terrace so we were able to watch the local fishing boats returning. It is a 2 minute walk to the crab market were we had some fabulous dinners.I would recommend the MeaLea resort as an excellent choice if you are visiting Kep.
Good personal service from Manager Stephan”
It was comfortable, clean enough, well positioned for crab market and easy access to tuk tuks for beech visit. The pool was kept clean by the manager who oversees everything and makes sure everyone is happy. Very reassuring in a country where other hotels don't give so much personal attention. Full marks to him.
The hotel location is very great. it's near the crab market. We can easily go to the restaurants. ”
It's a good place to enjoy the sunset. However, if you travel with kids as us, it's not a good place to go. You might meet the intolerant retired tourists who won't accept kids and will behave very meant to your kids. It won't be good for your kids.
Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The view over the bay from the dining and pool areas is superb, and the pool always kept clean. Gardens attractive and well maintained. Convenient location for Crab Market and Kep Beach. A small difficulty was that the room lighting was too dim for reading, and we found the beds a little hard for us.
The staffs bery freindly, and the owner is gorgeous :-D. The place is nice and clean very quiet. Unfortunately I end up booking the last room they have, so my room eas a bit tiny with no view. I had to cancelled the last three days of my 4 days there, but the owner very friendly and understanding; shr just charged 20% for the last 3 days that I cancelled. Would I go back there again... definately yes!!!
