The room was a tad too small but well furnished. Walking distance to major streets and attractions within Melbourne CBD. The Parking facility is a massive plus point since not many budget hotels provide that. It's essential for those travelling by car in this city. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

First thing you would love about Pegasus is its location in Melbourne CBD, while being very affordable compared to the rest of hotels, considering also the quality of room and facility. The hotel is located only 5 minutes of walk away from Queen Victoria Market. If you really like walking, it is also quite near to the Swanston street (Melbourne's most happening street), which will take you around 20 minutes to walk to. The Melbourne central is even nearer. Another highlight is Pegasus built-in facility like kitchen (which you can use to cook with ingredients bought from QVM to save bugs), and also common facilities like laundry, swimming pool and gym. I strongly recommend a stay in Pegasus if you are new to Melbourne CBD.

The hotel is located in Melbourne CBD just 1 minute walk to/from Southern Cross station. There are also nearby free tram stations near the hotel. Very convenient!

Great location in Melbourne CBD, parking was available 80metres away for a fee, apartment with everything you need (kitchen, coffee machine etc.). Only a few minutes’ walk to the tram station, shopping and food in Melbourne Central.

To begin with the Staff in Melbourne 1 Bldg. on Lonsdale was very accomodating and friendly especially the Front Desk Staff named Chris. Ibrahim of Melbourne One Front Desk was very accommodating as well. The place was clean, elevators were fast & we felt at home. There was just the noise from the construction area during our stay but all was good. The location is within the CBD Tram area which was very convenient for tourists. Take the Free Tram #58 from Lonsdale (3 stops away) or from Flagstaff (2 stops) to Queen Victoria Market. You can also walk to QVM from the hotel. You can also take the free tram to the shopping areas, Aquarium, Zoo and other tourists areas. Just across are Coles and Spencer Outlet, Southern Cross Station, restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. Cleaning service can only be availed if you stay for atleast 1 week but you can request for fresh towels and other needs, make sure to request at daytime to get it on the same day. Will definitely book here again!

great location for a hotel area so close to the action of the melbourne cbd. short walk from the casino boardwalk where all the night action is, we caught a taxi outside the door to the casino for $6 and walked back in 15min to our hotel. trams stop outside and the free tram that does the melbourne cbd square also stops out the front door. we also used the hotel parking for the duration of our stay which was extreamely reasonable.

Spacious and neat apartments. The building location is very nice -- close to Southern Cross Station, Queen Victoria Market and most attractions in Melbourne CBD. A tram stop is just in front of the building. Situated in a less busy spot of the city. Very accommodating staff. Despite the units being old, the facilities are well-tended. Clean toilets and very comfortable beds. Will definitely book again.

Comfortable like an old pair of shoes - no flash, no glamour, just a home away from home, except right in the very heart of Melbourne CBD, central to just about everything.. Staff are just SO helpful, your wish is their command. There is just about everything you need right there - laundry, gymnasium - but sadly NO pool.

We were located at the top floor as I'd asked for quiet room for us and my baby. First night the room's air cond did not work on heating, but it was quickly fixed after I informed the hotel staff about the issue. The rest of our stay was smooth. Staff is really helpful and quickly react on all your needs. Exterior of the hotel is impressing. Our floor was in green, but I read other comments that the hotel has a signature color for each floor. That is really cool! Pictures in the reception hall provide kind of atmosphere of art gallery. The best price-quality value I found for Melbourne CBD location.

Excellent service by the hotel (We asked to be given a room on a high floor if possible and the hotel was able to give us a room on the 27th floor). Notices were given out very promptly regarding the high winds and how to stop the door whistling noises by the use of a door snake. The room and toilet were clean. Very good location in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Close to the free tram circle line stop and Victoria markets.

It was fantastic and close to the CBD yet nice and quiet within the rooms. The view was magnificent. It would be great if there were some information booklets on what to do in Melbourne. We travelled with our youngest and would certainly consider staying again with our other children.

If you are visiting Melbourne to see Melbourne (not to sit in your room all day) than it's a really good place to bed down: I recommend. The per night rates are similar to serviced apartments in Gold Coast and Brisbane, but rooms are smaller. However, the room size is comparable and rates are affordable when you compare it to other accommodation in Melbourne CBD (Excluding back packers/shared accommodation). I read a lot of bad reviews on cleanliness and wear & tear. Perhaps those people confused this place with the Hilton or some other 5 star facility. Cleanliness was as average as I've ever seen anywhere else in serviced apartments. Same goes for the wear & tear of furniture and of the apartment itself. Staff was friendly, straight to the point and caused me no issues. Towels are changed & bins are emptied every morning (uncommon).

the hotel was lacated in downtown melbourne cbd. just a walk away to the train station and tram stops. there is a taxi rank just outside of the hotel and hence you will no have a problem attaining a taxi. many cafes are located just a few minutes away. the main shopping street is merely a ten minute walk away. the hotel was clean and had a pleasant touch. the staffs were friendly and warm. the room size was just nice and the bathroom was in good condition as well. overall, a good stay.

Great location and price for Melbourne CBD. Large bathroom and living area. Reception staff were a bit abrupt and customer service skills were lacking but not much interaction was necessary and had an overall pleasant experience. The large bathroom and cooking facilities more than made up for it

This is my second visit to Melbourne. The location is within CBD, facilities and restaurants are just around the corner. WIFI is excellent. Helpful staffs. Very convenient.

A recent mix up with a double AGODA booking(meaning I ended up with 2 rooms booked instead of one)- was sorted out in an instant Via Agoda and the Hotel no issues..no problems..full refund for wrongly booked room...and all my fault...so you can’t beat that!!!. Now on to the review..As a weekly business traveller there a few things I need in a hotel - no pretentious over priced foyers and arrogant staff – a comfy bed.... a good shower at the end of a day of deal making and a CBD location for food and drinks...an iron and ironing board.......all at a good price per night...and this hotel delivers!!!. Forget about it being tired, noisy and the bed not being made properly and all that other trivial nonsense you read on these review sites about this hotel - it’s a price point hotel in the CBD and you pay for what you get. It`s clean, rooms are a good size, bathroom works well,WIFI works OK (but it`s unsecure)and did I say its location wins and the staff a very friendly. I don’t eat there – so can’t comment on that department. Have stayed many times now and never had an issue. Simply a great hotel in the Melbourne CBD for the budget conscious business or leisure traveller.

The apartments are in a good location in the Melbourne CBD, on Exhibition Street right next to Chinatown. This means that there are plenty of dining options available. The place is also close to many other attractions in Melbourne, such as the State Library, Chinese Museum, Federation Square etc.

Located down an alley-way in Melbourne CBD, Fraser Place is a clean and contemporary hidden gem! Large rooms (only 4 per floor) with basic kitchen facilities, balcony and mod-cons. Staff were helpful booking shuttle buses etc. Would recommend!

OaksOnCollins is one the best hotel I have stayed in a while. The location is very central and convenient with walking distance to the Crown Entertainment Complex, Southern Cross Station and main shopping areas. The hotel facilities are exceptional with a well equiped gym, lap pool, sauna and security card access elevator to room which give a peace of mind. The room has beautiful views of Melbourne CBD with comfortable beds and couch to fit 3 people comfortably. The availibility of kitchen ammenities with communal laundry facilities makes this hotel a real home away from home.

very very comfortable stay. great location - short walk to melbourne cbd. also walk to mcg, rod laver, hisense, aami for all sporting action - maybe 20-30 mins easy walk. right on south bank with casino and many many restaurants. would certainly stay there next time in melbourne.

Mercure Melbourne at Therry Street is a hidden jem. Close to the Free Tram Zone, it enables free travel within the CBD and allows access to the numerous attractions on offer within Melbourne city. The room itself also comes with a kitchenette which is ideal as Queens Victoria Market is just a 5 mins walk away for your groceries. Surrounding area has various supermarkets and a 24 hours McDonald's is just across the street.

Was on a vacation with my family in melbourne for 2 weeks and had my fair share of apartments in the cbd. But this is by far the best. Will definitely stay here if i come back again. Rooms were bright modern and fully equipped with kitchen utensils. Smart TV in the living room with many channels. Nice balcony to enjoy the city view. The best was the 24/7 hot showers which is a rare thing in Melbourne apartments as the hot water usually run out in old buildings. Comfy beds and clean bath towels were provided. There was also a washing machine and dryer in the room. Free wifi with strong connection. Just 15 mins walk away from Southern Cross station where you can take the skybus to the airport. sealife aquarium and bridge to crowne plaza is at your doorstep. 7-11 and some cafes just across the road. Free city tram stops right at the doorstep too that you can take to Elizabeth street, Queen Victoria market etc. Nice quiet comfy apartment that provided my family a good 5 days rest after our day trips. Wouldn't ask for anything more :) The only minor downside was the check in as there was no counter and the office is closed on the weekend when we checked in on sunday. So make sure you take down a couple of numbers on their website to have a number to call when you arrive and the staff will be there in no time. They were also kind enough to provide luggage storage for free before and after I checked in and checked out. Very value for money. Strongly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment facing north on the 53 floor, the view is stunning you can see buildings, southern cross station, north melbourne and some parts of docklands. the apartment space is just enough for 2 adults and 2 kids under 10. the sofa turns into a bed which were the kids slept. the kitchen, dining, lounge area is great just enough for us. there is a laundry/toilet room infront of the kitchen area. the bedroom has an ensuite with a good spaced shower and toilet, during our stay the toilet smelled like cigarettes we had to close the door also. the bedroom has a great spacious mirror sliding closet. location is few steps out of southern cross station. coffee shops are all around the area, as well as 7/11, ezymart if you need stuff. Heaps of restaurants around the area few food courts outside and across the building. just outside the apartment there is a free tram stop which can take you to the heart of melbourne for shopping and food trips. The swimming pool is on level 33 it was okay, it wasn’t that warm but tolerable. the kids didn’t enjoy the pool as its not kids friendly in terms of shallowness the pool is all in same level of water. all in total we had a great stay and would really love to come back. suggestions: providing extra linen for the sofa bed, instructions for the washing machine and dryer, more hand towels and a face washer, a rice cooker and dish rack for the kitchen.

Can't fault a thing! Great breakfasts, great views, great rooms, great staff, great Executive Lounge ! Best to be on the river in Melbourne. Close to Crown Entertainment. My go to hotel in Melbourne !

This is a stunning catch for staying in melbourne CBD. It has the holy trinity for travellers - excellent location, big apartment style rooms, at a great price. No view to speak of but hey you can't have everything. Perfect rooms for families as Mum and Dad can escape from TV and the kids as the main bed is in a closed area (more an alcove than a room but big enough). Next in Melbourne, guaranteed we'll be there!

All the facility and things are perfect over there. Big, clean, good location..etc. The most important is the staff is wonderful. Since the building was under fire in mid-night, the staff(Ben) deal with government(and VBA) all the time. Meanwhile, he helps us to call agoda to re-book our stay in other places. Although we got bad experience with fire accident which almost ruin our trip in Melbourne, I do recommend this property especially for the staff.

i re-booked to stay at mantra on the park (my last stay was december 2011 (larger room). i booked a single room this time as a relative was in hospital (st vincents) and mantra on the park was the most economical and best located. i was pleasantly surprised to find that the single bedroom apartment was equally as spacious as the larger 2 bedroom one. the staff are very helpful and i would strongly recommend this hotel to all my friends. it has been renovated recently and is truly beautiful - best stay i have had in melbourne!!

The Metro is in a fantastic position in the Melbourne CBD in the midst of bars, cafes, take aways, restaurants and nightclubs and close to the major shopping streets. We had a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette/laundry on the 9th floor. While the hotel is situated in a very lively nightlife area with street noise until late, we were not bothered by this in our top floor room. The kitchenette included fridge, sink, convection microwave, 2 electric hot plates, kettle, toaster and ample pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The lounge/dining area was large, as was the bedroom. The ensuite was small but functional. Furniture throughout was comfortable. The only negative about the room is the lack of good lighting, everything else was just perfect.

The only complaint we had was the AC/heating, too noisy to leave on overnight, however we used a small electric heater in he bedroom and were sufficiently warm overnight. (The AC needs updating). Bed was satisfactory not too hard. Staff were friendly. The room overlooked a quadrangle, no view, and was very quiet.We would definitely stay again because it is good value for Melbourne CBD.
