"Anda Venice hostel is conveniently located in Mestre. A 2-minute walk from the train station and a short 5-minute train ride into Venice. Living in Mestre is much cheaper than living directly on Venice island. The hostel is super clean and a refreshing place to return to after a long day exploring Venice. They have fun activities lined up so you can be sure you'll meet some other nice travellers. I highly recommend this hostel!"

"the hotel itself was great - very clean, good breakfast buffet etc (all the basics). but the location was a bit far from venice, and even central mestre. i'd recommend staying in mestre (but closer to the train station / central area) if staying in venice is too expensive."

"around 8 minutes walk from Mestre Station , stay for 2 nights . The receptionist and hotel staff are very friendly and in the lobby we can bring our own food to eat or drink , it become very live , we love it. Buy some noodle in big supermarket around 5 minutes walk and can cook in the kitchen. After we visit Venice island we find that we have made the correct decision to choose A&O Venice Mestre. Interms of price this is the best price but very good hotel indeed. In the island with 3 times more expensive we could just get a small room and we think after 9pm it will be very quiet in the Venice island. Here after 9pm we can still see many people in lobby to have a drink or even watch football together at hotel lobby with their projector screen This is awesome for budget traveller to go to Venice"

"Highly recommend this hotel. It is located in Mestre and is a 15 minutes ride by bus from the Venice island. The best thing is that there is a bus stop located right outside the hotel from where you can catch a bus straight to Venice, and also a supermarket literally next door. We bought a day pass for public transportation and it was great value as we came back from and went to the Venice island three times. The room itself was also great, clean and spacious with a luxurious feel about it. The breakfast was decent. All in all, great value for a very comfortable stay very close to mainland Venice."

"good location in mestre, 5 mins walking distance from train station, 1 min from local bus station (to venice), decent breakfast buffet choice, good staff, clean and nicely appointed rooms. on negative side not cheap and parking not available, but concerning that, at 20 meters is closed parking for 6 euro/day. with the little bit more welcoming price, highly recommended. "Location is about 25 mins from Venice. Tram stop is really 2-3 minutes. Staff are really friendly and hotel room size is pretty good. The bed me and my partner slept on was like sleeping on a cloud. This for me was the best part of the hotel. "
