Good for the area ”
I ended up going to Tokyo during Golden Week, which significantly reduced the amount of hotels available within the area. I was lucky to for a room at this hotel at a decent price. The room itself was quite large for Tokyo and welcoming. The bathroom was a decent size and clean. In terms of location it wasn’t too far from the “fun” side of Shinjuku. Staff were great and the coin laundry in the hotel was excellent (and affordable). I found my stay to be relaxing and comfortable here.
this hotel is located in a skyscrapers district not far from shinjuku station. neat and clean from lobby to room . staff were very helpful though a bit of communication problem was encountered. but the supervisor sorted it out. amenities were sufficient and the coin washing machine on the14 th floor was helpful in my laundry. I highly recommend this property to business travellers or solo traveller.
Highly recommend this hotel”
Convenient location within a few minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. 12th floor room was quiet and actually bigger than expected with a small table and place to sit. Bed was very comfortable. For female travellers, the 14th floor is 'ladies only'. This may require booking in advance as I asked about it at check in and was told it was full. Anyway during my 7 night stay I hardly encountered anyone on my floor. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. On this note there is no room safe for valuables, but you can do this at reception. For getting to the airport, instead of taking the train, I got the airport limousine bus at the Hilton Hotel just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Really enjoyed my stay and would return.
The hotel located in a good place, just a few minutes walk from Shinjuku. Room facilities are good. And I love the hotel providing the Handy Smartphone. This really helps foreigners to travel (eg. Make international call, call local restaurant for reservations)
A bit pricey but worth it”
Its in the middle of shinjuku very near to all stations and happenigs in shinjuku and other JR lines and subway. Hotel provides robe also the floor i was in is near the laundry area no need to purchase detergent its already inclusive. The toilet is clean as well plus the seat is heated.
Convenient location ”
Very clean place to stay near all kind of transportation. Airport Limousine service come to Hilton, that is only three minutes walk. Stores and Restaurants are next to hotel. Negative: Hotel Rooms are unexpectedly small. Bed need new mattress.
Great hotel in great location”
Hotel is great with great staff and has everything you could need. Microwave on floor 10, laundry on 7, fridge and kettle in room. Three konbinis outside plus MacDonalds and loads of Japanese restaurants. Walking distance from Metropolitan Tower. Two mins walk to metro, one stop to Shinkuku. Or about 10 min walk to Shinjuku station. The area is a business one full of impressive skyscrapers and quaint backstreets. Very safe friendly area. Even if you go over to the more touristy Kabukicho which is North West from Shinjuku station and has a bit of a reputation it's fine. I walked back from a gig there at about 10pm and felt perfectly safe. Just ignore the touts obviously.
Great location and wonderful staff, but the room was run down and there were stains on the chairs and walls, lots of dust in the curtains. Bathroom and bed was clean, so wasn’t the worst but if you’re fussy you may not be happy.
Nice & clean hotel”
It’s a nice & clean hotel though a bit small in size. They have coin washers/dryers available which is very convenient. Also have parking facilities but every time when you get your car or return the car, you have to get the hotel staff to help (but they are really helpful and courteous). We had purchased the daily Japanese breakfast but the food items are the same for the 4 days we stayed there. In general, this is a nice hotel.
Clean and Comfortablel for the solo traveller”
The hotel is in an excellent position to get to all the action spots like the Shinjuku area and Kabukicho. Public transport is close at hand also, especially the Metro....the Nishi Shinjuku Metro is just a few steps away, and once you have worked out how it works, its easy. Get a 3 day pass. Lots of eateries of all sorts around from local to fine European dining. The St. Marks cafe attached, is also great, but you have to have a very sweet tooth. The rooms are apparently larger than most Japanese hotel rooms, but still small by Australian standards.
surely will go back to this hotel again”
the facilities, the staff, the cleanliness are very good. very near with station and convenience store around 3minutes walking distance. so many good restaurant around the hotel. the room a little bit small but enough.
Great value for money”
I loved my stay here. There's 2 convenience stores, a 100-yen store and 24-hour eateries just downstairs. Shinjuku Police Station is just opposite, never felt safer. It is a little walk from Shinjuku station, but you can't beat the price and comfort of the well-designed room. Would stay again.
Best option for Shinjuku area”
Very clean and modern. Every business hotel in Tokyo is very small, so no complaint for the space. Has everything that you may need for business trip in the room. Very close to subway. If I return to this area, i will choose this again.
Excellent stay ”
Second time I stayed here. Hotel rooms have been renovated and very comfortable stay - big screen tv and good table, nice beds. Room size is good too for Japanese standard. The hotel also provide free mobile during stay - excellent as can take outside and use Google map, etc. Location is good too - short walk to Shinjuku shopping area and food shops all around. I will stay here again next time and highly recommend.
Highly recommend ”
Centrally located but far enough from the main event of Shinjuku. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Although the rooms are smaller than expected, the hotel is super clean and has ample facilities. There are microwaves, ice and vending machines and laundry facilities - more than what you could need during your stay. Only metres away from Nishi-Shinjuku station and there are a number of konbinis nearby for cheap meals to take back to hotel. The staff were very helpful with my luggage.
Small but comfortable and convenient ”
Stayed an extended period of a week in Nishitetsu Inn. Location is fairly easy to locate. It is just less than a minute walk from the Nishi-Shinjuku metro station exit 1. It is situated between 2 convenient stores within 15 seconds walk each. Station is also not as crowded in the morning compared to the stations. Check in was fairly straight forward, as we arrived near midnight, but they were still available for us to check in. Check out was just a card drop, easy. Staff were polite. Didn't had to trouble them much during the stay. They understood english fairly ok so it was straight forward to converse. Room itself was generally clean and beds were comfortable. TV had only 1 english channel so bring along your own entertainment if required. Take note that because it is more of a business short trip hotel, the room size was fairly small. We didn't have space to fully open up 2 luggage, but for us it was not an issue, as it was only a minor inconvenience.
It was very good, but smelled smoke in the bed.
Good hotel away from the main Shinjuku Station”
Value for money with good location away from the busy Shinjuku station. Just a 10mins walk to the main shopping area (Shinjuku station) or a station away (subway). Room are pretty small but good size for a typical Japan hotel. Staff is friendly and able to guide you and answer your questions.
Great hotel and good facility”
I like this hotel very much. I have 2 days meeting nearby. The room OK, staff very nice and helpful. The great thing is “handy” the smartphone that I can use while i was there, with unlimited bandwidth and local number. The phone help me to get direction with google map. It’s a great help for me (since my iphoneX GPS is very lousy, so not accurate, and make me lost many times.)
Lovely, clean room for a solo traveller. In fact the room can fit in 2 - 3 people comfortably. The hotel looks new and clean too. Near to Nishi-Shinjuku station and 10-15 mins walk to main Shinjuku station.
