This living haveli is a historic Rajput family residence built around several courtyards and is adorned with water fountains, intricate stone carvings, and contemporary facilities. Still occupied by members of the Nobel family, the Pal Haveli - A Heritage Hotel in Jodhpur has sensitively restored rooms with ornately carved beds and photos of the royal family. The hotel has a fabulous rooftop restaurant offering candlelit dinners and panoramic views of Mehrangarh Fort and the city. After dinner head over to the Dariakhana Lounge Bar to enjoy a cocktail or two. The Havel Museum offers guests a chance to explore the local heritage as photographs, weaponry, costumes, and period furniture. For outside excursions, the hotel arranges sightseeing tours and safaris. The hotel is only a kilometer and a half from the railway station and four kilometers from the airport. All round poor hotel”
Stayed here for three nights. Please read the review and other reviews carefully before choosing this hotel. The location in the old city is good. You can walk to restaurants and cafes and it has a great view of the fort. However it is so noisy and impossible to sleep. There is a temple across the street which starts playing music about five am and continues for thee to four hours. There are very loud barking dogs. The staff. The staff are indifferent at best and grumpy and unpleasant at worst. Food. Expensive and over rated. I also heard other guests complaining about the shower. Some rooms are renovated. Some are not. I searched long and hard for a mid range well reviewed hotel in jodhpur and couldn’t find one. I suggest you pay a bit more and stay outside the city or pay less for a clean quiet guest house.
Hotel is located near market and access by car is itricky. difficult. The room decor is excellent but the traffic noise, dogs barking in street is loud and we had a disturbed sleep. WiFi was poor.
Great location, fantastic room”
We were lucky to be put in a mist amazing suite at pal haveli. Room as really beautiful, very nice decor and comfortable. Only problem is that location is so central that it can be a little noisy, we were woken 2 nights by dogs barking for a couple of hours. Would recommend ear plugs for light sleepers. Otherwise couldn't be happier, lovely hotel
One thing about the room that we booking is Royal Heritage , but the room we get its look diff with the one shown on yr website. We talk to staff there, they insist its correct room type. Agoda just post the wrong photo! The room Royal heritage that you posted seem to be the Suite room for them. Please investigate and find out the correct photo or correct detail for update yr website.
What an amazing stay. Its an oasis of calm and beauty in mad crazy Jodhpur. I'd recommend the Pal Haveli without reservation.
Great hotel in good location with good restaurant. ”

Fit for a princess”
Gorgeous spacious room & beautiful traditional hotel in great location, fantastic service & great food.
Perfect Pal Haveli ”
From the moment you walk through the gates into the courtyard you feel peaceful. The staff are welcoming and friendly, our room The Heritage Suite was stunning. The Haveli has a lot of history and is wonderful to walk around and explore. The rooftop restaurant hands down has the best view of not only the fort but also the clock tower and the food is amazing 👌👌 Th Haveli is in a perfect location to walk around to the bazar and do a bit of shopping as well as popping out for local food or coffee. We loved Jodhpur and Pal Haveli so much we stayed on extra days. Thank you Pal Haveli 🙏 🙏 Namaste
Beautiful handpainted walls, lovely rooms, scenic restaurant!”
We love this hotel. It is probably the most unique hotel we have stayed in. It is an old family home where the rooms are individually decorated with hand painted and plastered walls, lovely furniture and beautiful architectural touches. The room we stayed in was described as the owner's grandmother's room there was a description of the technique of the blue flower painted walls and ornate plasterwork. The roof top restaurant offers a great view of the fort and a lake and the hotel is right in the middle of the town making many shops and restaurants an easy walk. Our room was quite high up and the stairs are very steep. If you have trouble with stairs, advise the hotel that you need a first floor room.
Beautiful haveli in an 18th century mansion. ”
We are here during the hottest summer days. They put us in an incredible room—gorgeously appointed and huge! We loved it but the air conditioning wasn't quite cool enough for us. They very graciously offered a smaller, cooler room which we are now enjoying. Very attentive staff and wonderful views of the fort and city from the rooftop restaurant. Highly recommended.
Historic haveli right in the old city”
Pal Haveli is a historic home converted into a hotel. We had a huge room that was richly decorated with painted motifs on the ceilings and walls. We were on the ground floor with a large courtyard outside our room (no view). As we were visiting the second week in April, it was quite hot outside, so we did not do as much walking around as we had hoped. There is a good restaurant on the top floor. Staff in the dining area was very kind.
Beautiful haveli, stay here!”
Fantastic stay! The haveli was so lovely in the middle of the city with good service.
A great place in Udaipur”
Just fantastic, and worth every penny. The rooms and the views are beautiful, the pool is cold - which is great - and the restaurant is lovely to spend an evening in. Easy ealking distance to most things. Just loved staying there as a family:)
Friendly staff, great location, nice room ”
Staffs are very friendly and honest. I'd like to share some little stories: 1. I asked the front desk to book a village tour and paid 1000 Rs security deposit, half day later I found an travel agency who could provide a more inclusive tour so I asked the front desk if I could cancel my reservation. He returned my deposit without asking any question. 2. We booked a room for 2 but we were in 3. At check in the front desk charged us 1100 Rs / day for extra bed. However they forgot to set up the bed, but the original king size bed was big enough so we didn't complain. At checking out, we pointed out that the extra bed was never set up, they returned extra fee immediately. 3. Breakfast usually starts at 7:30. We had to have it earlier. The hotel was glad to start the breakfast half an hour earlier just to accommodate our schedule. The only down side of the hotel is that facilities sometimes are not so robust. Although the staffs have tried enough effort and even called a technician, wifi and TV did not work in our room. Wish they can fix the problem soon.
Beautiful restful and serene”
Spotlessly clean....lovely helpful service...roof top restaurant in evening is beautiful...elevator to restaurant.
Pal Haveli was a good hotel in the older part of Jodhpur city. The view of Mehrangarh fort from the rooftop during dinner time is excellent. The room provided was spacious and clean.
A hotel that does not deserve the stars it has. The building is nice but you could use some renovation, painting and cleaning
Heritage hotel stay in the heart of Old City, Jodhpur.”
This hotel is perfect if you want to explore the Old City of Jodhpur on foot. It is right in the heart of the old city, a stone's throw from the bustling Sadar Market, but when you're in the hotel, you step back into a peaceful old style haveli and the sounds of the city are not to be heard. I had a room on the lower floor, which while dark and in need of a rug or something on the floor, was spotless and adequately appointed in all other regards. The roof top restaurant, though a tad more expensive than those in the rest of the neighbourhood, offers fine views of Mehrangarh Fort and Sadar Market. The breakfast menu is fine and the staff are pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel and one day, hopefully, I will get back to Jodhpur and would happily stay at Pal Haveli again.
Good Hotel..let down as so many are in this country by poor breakfasts”
Great posistion....aircon very noisey
Classic Haveli ”
Situated in old Jodhpur next to the market and central to everything this is a delightful home in a frenetic environment. Our suite was private, quite and stylish. The roof top restaurant offered good food and stunning views of the imposing fort. Can recommend and would return in the blink of an eye.
