Pearl Hotel Shinjuku Akebonobashi
Clean, relatively new, good location although it is on a local subway line and not an express line. Close to a 711, Family Mart and a couple of restaurants. A little small but typical of Tokyo. Some staff's english is virtually non existant and not very experienced at their jobs but they are nice and respectful as expected from the Japanese. Would stay again.
Great place to stay in Tokyo”
A few minutes walk from Akebonobashi station. Room is quite spacious for a Japan size hotel room. There are a lot of good places to eat around the area and near convenience stores. A station away from main Shinjuku perfect for those who doesn't want the noise but still wants easy access to shopping and eating spots of Tokyo.
family traveller with seniors”
Closest Stations to this hotel is Akebonabashi Station and Wakamatsu-Kamada Station. Get off A2 exit for Akebonobashi Station. Rooms werent what i had expected as when i booked the place, it was still new. And it was our first time in Japan. Computer area has no chair/stool to sit on, but the laptops work fast! The computer area is shared with the waiting area as well, place is quite cold so you best not to linger too long there.(lights will turn off automatically around 1am) They have on-site laundry machine (2 of them), the machine will dispense laundry soap, so you guys dont need to worry about buying one. :) Room we got were kind of smaller than we're used to, and to be honest the pictures of each room truly show how big the room is. They clean the room everyday without fail! Staff has basic grasp of English but are very helpful ones they understand you, they give off a cold and unfriendly vibe but i guess that comes with the region?
Clean, neat & convenient.”
The hotel room is very clean & tidy. The bed is comfortable & it is located near metro station which is very convenient. Also, there are convenience stores like Family Mart, 7-Eleven and even a small supermarket just right along the same street with this place. There is also this delicious restaurant chain (Tendon Tenya) which you can get good tempura bowl at affordable price which located along the way to the train station. We had a good two nights stay & wish we could stay a bit longer here.
Great time ”
Everything is perfect except the services . We are just little disappointed when we left because we asked one of staff help us to call taxi but he refused to help us . He said it was busy time but it is 5.30 am in the morning . He just pointed us to carry lugagages outside . So unfriendly . We left on 2 April around 6am and the guy wear glasses
The hotel is brand new, so it’s clean. Location was great, 3-5 minutes walk to Akebonobashi station. Facilities was great, they have laundromat in lobby for ¥500 (washer and dryer). They also have vending machine in the laundry room which is cheaper than the vending machine outside. Most importantly, bed was comfy and room was larger than expected, very recommended.
Pearl Hotel Shinjuku Akebonobashi is new and clean”
The hotel is clean and new. They offer the usual small rooms found in Japanese budget hotels, but everything you need is there if you are busy during the day and don't intend to lounge around in your room. Nice hot shower; nice deep bathtub. It is quiet at night. I would stay there again. It's only two subway stops from Shinjuku station, and the neighbourhood is nice.
Worth for Value ”
Location is just next station of Shinjuku Station., just 5 mins walk from nearest subway station. Convenient shops and pharmacy are located 2 to 3 steps away from hotel. The room is consider spacious, 28 inches luggage are able to open fully. Pajamas is provided daily. Worth for money, will visit again in future.
Would definitely return! ”
Convenient spot located just 3 mins from Akebonobashi station (exit a2, Turn Right”, then Turn Right” again and it’s on your right) there’re several convenience stores near by, even a Lawson 100, which is essentially a 100yen store. Plenty of restaurants on the same street as well - the sushi restaurant beside the Wendy’s is particularly good. The location is also one stop from Shinjuku and in general very convenient to visit the main hotspots. It’s also not crazy packed like Shinjuku. Breakfast is quite limited and costs 1,200yen if your room isn’t breakfast inclusive. Rather expensive for what is offered, but you’ll probably be out having breakfast at cafes anyway The room is a great size for a single female traveller. Double bed is good for one, but might be too small if there’s two of you. The sheets are little scratchy and hard. I’d wish they laundered it with some kind of fabric softener. The bathroom is also small but it’s typical Japanese size and works for me. The housekeepers do a great job of refreshing the room Everyday. Al in all, it’s my go to place to stay for when I return to japan
Thank you for writing such a good review for us. We will discuss with the restaurant about the breakfast and hope to better our service and choices for our customers! We are so glad that you are satisfied and happy to stay with us.
Accessible to anything”
Just 3 minutes walk to Akebonobashi Station. And there are also a lot of restaurants & convenience store along the way. The breakfast is good enough for the price. But the breakfast time is very time constraint only open from 7am until 9pm. The place is very accessible to anything
Thank you for your staying our hotel. and we have a happy time . If you will come in japan Please stay our hotel again. we are expecting to have safe tour .
Alot of convenient store and restaurant outside the hotel
Very love it”
I love this hotel. Very clean, beautiful and the staff very nice and can speak english. I’m here with my sister. The bed is enough for us. Thank you ❤️
Great location ”
Great location, close to metro, center, and facility store
Lots of restaurants nearby”
5 mins walk from JR station and 15mins walk from subway station. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
I highly recommend this hotel if it is your first time or returning visit to Tokyo. Such a good location LITERALLY next to everything you need when you are on a holiday, train station, groceries, washing, massage, food, chemist, doctors. The rooms are quite small but it has everything you need. The staff were all friendly and responsive. Had no problems what so ever. They cleaned the rooms everyday and the building itself is new and super clean! I will definitely come book again at this hotel if I return back to Japan. I will recommend this to my close family and friends because I have such a good experience.
Good Location edge of Shinjuku”
Pros: On the main subway line to Shinjuku. Easy access to most tourist areas. Quiet due to its location with small restaurants and supermarkets on the street. Felt very safe in the area. Cons: Busy subway line made it difficult for movement between 7-9am and 5-7pm. Overall really nice basic hotel for the price you pay. Great location near the subway and you can walk 1.5km to the Skinjuku Gyōen park.
Great new hotel, lovely and clean, great area. 350m walk to the station, great restaurants near by, 30 minute walk to Shinjuku. Good breakfast included. Convenient store next door, quite hotel in quite street. Will return next time I’m in Tokyo
Super clean, close to subway, many amenities nearby.”
Really enjoyed our stay in this very new and very clean hotel. Toilet was well-equipped and room even has a safe which a friend, who paid for a more expensive and popular hotel in shinjuku, said was not provided in her hotel room. Short walk from Akebonobashi station which was just 2 stops away from noisy and crowded Shinjuku station. We loved the quaint street outside the hotel. U have a 24hrs Sukiya restaurant, 24hrs convenient store with fresh produce, a cute sushi shop, 7-11 and even Family Mart across the street. Wish we had more time in Tokyo just to explore and hang out in this area itself. Highly recommended if u wanna stay near Shinjuku but prefer a quiet area and appreciate living where the locals are instead of within the busy shopping district.
This hotel is an answered prayer to us for we want an affordable hotel and yet good quality. Its a new hotel, the stuff are all okay and very clean as well. The location is good and peaceful, there are Lawson, 7/11 etc near the hotel, also good Japanese restaurant you may try. I will definitely come back here.
Highly accessible budget hotel, awesome location”
Highly recommended hotel! Great location with 4-5 convenience stores nearby and various restaurants including Sukiya, Ikinari Steak, a ramen place, Tendon Tenya, and Coco Ichibanya right beside Akebonobashi station. Subway station is just a 3-5minute walk from the hotel
