Great place to chill out”
Cheerful friendly check in (a bit slow though as only one person on duty) security chain on door of first room allocated was broken but I was moved and the replacement was perfect. Fridge, tea and coffee, comfy bed, plenty of room and bathroom with bathtub. Quiet despite conference in session. Plenty of available bed chairs around pool which was cleaned daily. Food great and well priced - breakfast buffet exceptional with omelette chef. Thoroughly recommended.
I always enjoy staying at Mmabatho Palms, hence I was there twice a month last year because prices were affordable, paying around R660 per day, this year I have been staying somewhere cause the prices are so high. the price hike from R660 to R900 is huge, will consider returning there if prices are comparative. overall, I am 100% for Mmabatho palms
I had a great stay and staff were friendly except one front staff member (Mokgomotsi). I only went to reception to ask for tea makings since i used mine all and the answer was you have to wait for tomorrow until they are refilled. beside that, thanks to Tryphina, the lady who was cleaning, Omphile in the dinning hall. Khumo, Tidimallo, Ednah in front desk office who assisted me in checking in for the entire period excellent service.
Not too bad”
Location was great, facilities not too bad. I do feel though for that price the rooms need to be upgraded. The casino was way too warm, couldn’t wait to get back to the room for the aircon. Breakfast was good.
Great Value for money”
Some of the public areas look rather dated, but the staff and price more than make up for this. I had a spacious executive room that met my needs for an overnight stay. The steak at dinner was very good. Above all, the staff shine thru. It is a great location for business travel
Leisure in Mafikeng”
Im very glad that we had chose this hotel. We did not expect such class service and the rooms are pretty nice. The staff were well trained and very friendly and accomadating and this added to the calm and relaxing weekend we intended to have. Thank you.
* Airconditions dispense cild air for few minutes”
* the hotel reception staff are so relaxed, maybe because of Age or something. * Restaurant menu should be improved. * Air-condition should be serviced. * Hotel staff needs training regarding clients handling. * Securities searching people should be more professional and stop being favourable by searching selected individuals
A pleasant place to stay”
The whole experience was pleasurable, i wish we could have stayed much longer and the place is beautiful. But the staff was noisy at night loud, chats and laughs on the corridor, please address that. Thank you
Lovely hotel with useless staf”
However they managed to place my 2 kids in room far away from us even though we called on numerous occassions to make sure this was going to be done. When we got there there was further delaywith the check in process even though i had been trying to confirm accommodation for the 2 weeks prior and had confirmation numbers on their letter heads but still it was a problem. The manager for reservations was very helpful and did his best to assist however the front desk staff refusc until got extremly upset then they referedme to the manager to sort out the problem which was actually no problem just their lack of understanding how these online bookinkings work.
Executive / King rooms have been updated and are worth the extra amount. Staff are friendly and outside area is great
EXCELLENT AFTER I ASKED TO BE MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM. Room 243 has a door that can lead to room 300, not locked, unsecure, neighbours can hear or come as they did. try to fix that issue
Best holiday ever”
Good service offered at reception”
I had a great stay but i want to emphasize on the issue of parking. I struggled to get parking until everyone left at 10pm. apart from that all was well and excellent
Business and leisure”
Very pleasant, clean rooms, friendly staff, good food, good location
Generally I'm not the complaining kind of person. However my stay at Mmbatho Palms was not a good one. *Our room had a musky smell * The A/c unit was noisy * The breakfast was disgusting # the carrot muffins had gone off # the were more flies on the fruit than fruit # even the pastries where stale. I hope that staff and management takes the source of income seriously. In all probability I would not be staying again
Worse service I have ever experienced. This place needs to learn a thing or two about cust service ”
Check in was unfriendly, not very welcoming. Which should have been the first sign. The restaurant service was even worse! We were a group of 4 who waited over thirty minutes for food in an empty restaurant. The 4th meal didn't come at all! We couldn't add drinks ordered at the bar of the restaurant to our table tab. I am never going back to this establishment!
not Value for money”
The staff was patronising and unfriendly. Room curtains couldn’t close the whole night. The Place has aged and there is evidently no maintenance. Hotel Guests receive the same WiFi access( 500MB) as walk in customers and thereafter can’t access it further irrespective of the number of nights and was told there was nothing they could do The supper was good though
LARGE COCKROACHES IN ROOM NUMBER 301”
MY initail room was 011, unpacked then noticed aircon and safe does not work. repacked (now is gone over an hour) and i have a meeting in one of the hospitals. Missed zhe meeting and i was moved to room 301. Friday,24 november 2017 found 2 very large cockraches in the bidet. filthy and disgusting, how does one expect to have breakfeast or eat at the hotel.
