Anniversary getaway ”

We only spent one night at peppers moonah links but it was enough to make us want to come back again. My wife actually suggested we come back with friends so us men can go play golf while the ladies relax on the balcony with a few wines! Service was great, room service food was affordable and very nice and the open room was fantastic! The golf course the room looks over is amazing! Played the open course with the twilight special (after 3pm). We didn't take advantage of the restaurant or bar nor did we have time to explore any other facilities so can't comment on that. We will be back.

Retreat”

From the warm welcome of the concierge to the whole staff ready and willing to help you out in any way they possibly can, Pepper's Moonah Links resort is a great place to rest, unwind, wine & dine. If I was a golfer I would have appreciated it a lot more. A special thanks to Volkan, a great concierge who takes pride in ensuring the guests are more than catered for, the staff working at the Spike bar for their attentiveness and last but certainly not least, the head chef Arkhon (I may have spelt that wrong- my apologies) for the sublime dinning experience-Loved the scallops!!!! Highly recommended-Get away and unplug

Pleasant stay”

Moonah links was a pleasant enough hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little noise travelled from the surrounding rooms. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and although the food was nice, the staff were very in attentive and overall it was a bit overpriced. Breakfast was adequate, but a few things could have been replenished. Overall, I think that the resort is fine for a short trip, but the staff could be a bit more attentive given that it is supposed to be a high-end resort.

Outstanding service”

Really happy with our service at pepper, the facilities were mostly closed due to covid restrictions so we couldn’t test these. The hotel was very clean and tidy, a tad tired but over all really beautiful. Only negative was the food at the restaurant, our steak was horrendously overcooked and potatoes very hard. However the fantastic service at the restaurant made up for the disappointing food. Beautiful location, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely accom. Just as pictured. Definitely get the open room for those gorgeous morning views Clean. Parking right outside. Perfect for the golfers or even just a simple mornington getaway!

Perfect romantic getaway”

I booked the open room. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were friendly and attentive. Location itself is a bit of a drive away but if you're looking for a resort where you and your loved one can spend a little alone time, this resort is definitely the choice. Room looked exactly like in the photos. I would definitely stay again.

Good stay”

Our stay was very pleasant. For travellers who are visiting the Peninsula Hot Springs, the resort is just a short drive away. Highly recommend for family and friends.

Above average”

We had a short stay at Peppers Moonah Links. The first room we were given had an issue with the toilet and so we requested for a room change. The staff came and acknowledged the issue, but rather than switch rooms for us, they spent a considerable time in our room trying to brainstorm solutions on how they could make it more bearable for us in the room. The toilet was leaking and therefore the cistern was refilling every 5 minutes, so they suggested that we turn the water off at the wall and then turn it back on every time we wanted to use it; which is a ridiculous suggestion for your guests. Eventually they agreed to move us to a new room with a poorer view, but did give us complimentary breakfast for the next day as compensation. all in all, a good outcome, just a shame that it took a while to get there. cleanliness of the rooms are a bit poor. both rooms we were in had cobwebs and spiders just hanging about throughout the room.

Nice resort”

We stayed at the resort for one night in the 'open room'. The room was spacious with a great view of the golf course and sunset. Bathroom was big and open as well. The beds were a bit too soft for my liking (personal taste), and the TV small. No matter how much I tried - I couldn't get the Foxtel (cable TV) to work. Having said that - the room is still good, and I'd come back again. Location wise - the resort is based within a golf course, and 15 minutes drive to Red Hill wineries.

Local stay for New Years ”

Great place that was very tranquil. Close enough to the main hubs Portsea and Sorrento yet far enough away to escape all the crowds that flock to the peninsula for X mas & New Years . Great place we will be back .

Luxurious but dated”

great location and if you are a golfer it would be perfect. However I imagine it was the height of luxury 10 to 15 years ago..needs an update. Otherwise 5 minutes from the peninsula hot springs makes it the ideal location for a romantic get away.

Anniversary ”

Very happy with our stay and will come back . We were especially happy with the delicious meal at Peppers restaurant! Lovely place .

Peppers was a great hotel for our stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable and had a balcony with a lovely view of the golf course

SPECTACULOR ”

Wow is all I can say. The room and views were incredible, we stayed in room 82 and absolutley recommended. Please if you stay here just splash out a little more and stay in the "open room" cause its sensational. The room was so well cleaned and smelt so lovely and fresh. The greeting from the receptionist was so loving and warm. Also shout out to the awsome bar tender who I had a great chat with, as well as the front of house manager I believe who was serving us breaky (lady with the blonde hair) Such an team of people and one of the best places I have ever stayed. Large modern rooms and excellent service ”

Pros: well kept golf resort with large rooms overlooking the fairways. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Cons: about 20 mins drive from most wineries and good restaurants

Stayed in an open room with an extra mouse guest”

Stayed here as a romantic one night get away after using the nearby peninsula pools. Room large although had a noisy wedding happening next door. At about 930pm we had an uninvited mouse running through our bathroom. We were moved quickly after having to repack into to a smaller disabled room. The night manager was helpful and told me the team in the morning would discuss it with us. No one mentioned it on check out and when I told them about it I was told an email had been sent. The male receptionist seemed uninterested and eventually I at least received a half hearted sorry. Have yet to hear from anyone at Peppers, I didn’t have anything removed from the bill as reimbursement. Would not return again and will happily share my story with others
