Very good WiFi. Excellent buffet dinner for only 5 JD. Ride to & from Petra each morning & afternoon. Packed lunch for only 2.5 JD.

Good location walking to Petra 15 min. ,Staff was really kind and gave lot of good information. You can find local food in wadi musa by far the cheapest near Petra.

Had an outstanding stay here. Perfect base from whicj to explore petra - small room but well decorated and feels homely, very attentive staff particularly the manager gail, comfortable and communal common room whicj would be an excellent place to unwond in busier seasons i quiet seasons the couches were just perfect for me to take a load off and watch tv, plenty of local restaurants within reach although nobody comes to wadi musa for the food. Keenly priced. Would very highlu reccomend.

*helpful,accomodating and welcoming staff *clean room *boiled eggs, cheese and coffee for breakfast are the best ❤️ (Just what we needed most before the whole day activity in Petra) and more to choose from. *Even give us a ride going to Petra *Nice location. we have been to a lot of hotels in jordan and this was by far the best in terms of the experience and the value. the hotel has a very cozy comfortable feel about it and ibrahim and his staff are incredible. they will go out of their way to ensure everything is catered for and treat you like family. they were very good in arranging various trips and services and helped us in making arrangements at rates lower than what we found around. the rooms are spacious and very cozy and certainly feel like a home in jordan. beds are comfortable with very good heating / air-conditioning. we had trouble with heating in other hotels as it can get very cold in winter but the heating here was fabulous. you have hot water via solar heating and large, thick bath towels. there is satellite tv and dvd player (on request). the lobby has books and movies and is a very good corner for sitting and reading or chatting with others. tea/ coffee is available any time. there is a very good shuttle service to petra and back. breakfast is fresh and very good to last you for a good hiking day in petra. you have excellent places for dinner and local sweets nearby, including supermarkets and staff will be more than happy to point you to good ones and tell you the local prices since tourists are often overcharged in the area. they can also arrange trips to wadi rum, aqaba or the dead sea at very good rates or tell you what you should be paying if you were to arrange it yourself. we also took a look at other hotels while we were there and this is definitely the best hotel in town.

Very warmly (but still professionally) welcomed by the hotel manager who, because it was out of season, had upgraded me to a double room with ensuite. Buffet breakfast - breads, hummus, yoghurt, olives etc (not loads of it but adequate) - started early enough to be transported by car (courtesy of hotel) to Petra visitor centre in time for entry at 6am. Also was able to arrange private tour with the manager's uncle to both Little Petra and also to Dana Biosphere and Shobak Castle. Overall, my stay allowed the rest needed after long days exploring Petra and the vicinity thereof.

The hotel was inexpensive and functional, and very quiet. Not exactly as advertised: It's a long walk down hill to the Petra visitor's center (and then a long walk back up hill into town). The hotel listing advertised a pool but the pool is actually at the Al Anbat I an expensive taxi ride quite far out of town. The breakfast was extremely Spartan. But this was an otherwise convenient, very inexpensive place to stay in Wadi Mousa.

Good stuff really helpfull, all room clean with big windows. They pick up you to Petra in 2 minutes. I recommend this place.

I have the happy moment during the stay in Amra Hotel. This is the best and comfortable hotel especially for a long day of Petra trail. There's a relaxing swimming pool, bar, friendly stuff, comfortable room and bed, clean and close to the centre of city. I'll definitely return when i back to Petra.

Me and my mum were looking for an affordable, clean place to stay while visiting Petra. Al Rashid Hotel lived up to our expectations and then some. The place was clean and for the price it's terrific. Though it is a little bit of a walk (20 minutes up hill) from the entrance to Petra, I'd still recommend it - when we were too tired to walk, we took a cab for 1 jd. Mostly, we were happy because of the staff. The manager gave us wonderful advice on what routes to take to avoid falling into a tourist trap at Petra. He drew us a map, which ended up being really helpful. We also got a lunch box with our breakfast in on the days when we left before 6 am. Can definitely recommend.

Overall, this hotel was an excellent deal. I paid quite a low price for a room that included breakfast and free wifi (in the lobby). Breakfast was decent, and the hotel also offered a communal dinner for 8 JD/person. The upstairs lounge/balcony was beautiful and a great place to hang out and meet other travelers. The view from the patio (and some of the rooms) was simply stunning, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The hotel is not walking distance from Petra and is in a slightly less touristy area. However, they do offer a shuttle to Petra, and it's a quick drive if you have a car. The rooms were tiny but clean, and the beds were comfortable enough. The drawbacks were that the hotel was VERY noisy at night. There was noise coming from outside (neighbors, mosque, etc.), and also the walls in the hotel were thin. The room and bathrooms had heavy wooden doors, and you could hear everyone opening and closing the doors until late in the night. If you're a light sleeper, this could be an issue for you. Also, the packed lunches weren't very good - a simple sandwich, pizza-flavored potato chips, chocolate candy bar, a sweet bread & cream roll, and some other junk food item. Not exactly the kind of nurishment I wanted when hiking in Petra. The hotel only has hot water for several hours in the morning and several hours in the evening, so just make sure you plan accordingly if you are traveling during the cooler months. Finally, while the owner was sweet and helpful towards the customers directly, she seemed to be constantly cursing and yelling at the Jordanian staff (men). Having to listen to her crabiness was kind of a downer. The young men working there weren't always helpful either, and at times they were the ones making excessive noise. Having seen the other hotel options in Petra, I probably wouldn't stay here again myself, largely because of the noise issue. But it could be a great budget hotel for someone who sleeps like a rock.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 days and must say the hotel was pretty decent. The views from the hotel were breathtaking. I would suggest having breakfast on the balcony of the restaurant to feel the beauty of Petra. Only problem was it's distance from city center which made us dependent on the hotel staff even for a water bottle. A vehicle is arranged to visit Petra at anytime and staff know people who can arrange other things as well. Overall experience was very good and hotel can be recommended for couples.

It's overpriced, but so is everything in Petra. It's a 2-5jd taxi ride to the Petra visitors centre or a 30 minute walk. The hotel is VERY basic and not everything works as it should do e.g. WiFi. This is a very cheap place to stay but I would expect more for this price.

I had a good stay in Sharah Mountains Hotel. Stayed there for 2 nights in late April 2018. It provides basic amenities but otherwise was exceptionally clean. Shower was clean, clean towels were provided. Hot water was hot. Breakfast was good for the price that you pay. Did not have any of the dinner buffet there though as most of the evenings I was pretty worn out and just wanted to chill out in the room. I guess the place is being run by 2 brothers. One of them Mehmoud was exceptionally good and took steps to ensure that our visit to Petra ( we took 2 days Petra with Petra at night as well). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. If there's any downside it would be the location in relation to Petra. The hotel itself is in the town, located close to shops and restaurants. Walking back and forth to Petra may not be an option. However, again Mehmoud took steps to ensure we have free shuttle to go and get back from Petra at anytime of the day. Mohd Ramadhan

My stay was for 2 nights and as a Solo traveler I required lots of assistance to move around in Petra, Hassan (the manager) was very helpful, he arranged for comfortable rides to and from Amman and personally dropped me off at Petra and arranged cheap and quality tours. The rooms were a delight with amazing view of Petra city. Roop top restaurant is icing on cake. safe and secure as well!

It was a great place to stay whilst we were visiting Petra, being in a village away from the mass of tourist hotels. You felt as if you were in your own little village, with alleyways and courtyards to explore. The Hamman was extremely relaxing after 8 hours at Petra. The only disappointment was the food which was repetitive and rather western in character.

The hotel was great for a stay in Petra - a little out of the centre and so felt much less 'touristy'. Very newly renovated with a nice roof terrace with a pool which we were unfortunately unable to use because of the temperature. The manager came to speak to us and invited us to go on a 'mystery tour' which we agreed to. He took us to 'Little Petra' which looked lovely lit up. We were given tea and sat chatting for a while before he drove us back to the hotel. It was a nice thing to do and made our memories of the hotel very pleasant.

We chose Petra as a base and P Quattro hotel was the best decision of our trip. We stayed for 4 night and it was JUST AMAZING!!! Visit to Jordan was for my sister’s birthday and it was made super special by the staff. Rad is the owner /chef / everything and he was so charming and friendly. Everyone at the reception were exceptional. Deya at the helpdesk was such a bliss. The manager..everyone… It is a new hotel with good size modern rooms. Everything is perfect about the place and staff. They give you local knowledge and help to make your trip memorable, simple. The food at the hotel was exceptional too including breakfast. I can continue to write more but I think I have made it evident how much I loved my stay… Unlike big chain hotels where you don’t feel any local connection this one gives you same comforts with personal attention to your needs. If you want an outstanding personal experience in Petra, I highly recommend this hotel!

First, let me clarify something, although this is a great hotel, it is not a luxury one; but I hope thats not what you are expecting from a hotel in this area. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff are friendly. We had our room incorrectly offered to us as a twin (rather than double) but they gave us a double suite once we informed them. The place is busy, full of people from various different tours of Petra. The showers are very adequate with good water pressure. There is wifi, a bar, and a restaurant. The choice of food is very limited for breakfast, and dinner but then again, you havent come here for food, you've come top see petra! Petra is about 10min taxi ride away which is not bad. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, looking at other hotels in the area, this is one of the top 3-4 large ones that exist. The prices are not cheap but again, even the local restaurants in the nearby town/village are expensive compared the same in London/Dubai/etc! Its a very historical tourist site, where you are expected to spend a little more!

Our first visit to Jordan and Petra, we picked a hotel chain easily recognized with a quality standard expected. Our choice was not disappointing and the staff were very accommodating allowing us to check in early with a room overlooking the whole of the Petra valley above the town. Our half board was very good along with our overall experience.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us. It was as beautiful at night as it was in the day and our room was so spacious, well decorated and clean. We didn’t want to get out of the huge bed, which was made with fresh, white sheets and quality bed linen. We didn’t spend as much time in the hotel as we would’ve liked too, so didn’t get to experience the Hamman Spa or swimming pool, both of which looked great. The section at breakfast was excellent and well-presented and they were only too happy to make me a crepe which wasn’t on the menu. Its 10 minutes’ drive out of the city, the drive was lovely and after being a tourist, it was nice to be slightly out of the centre where it was really peaceful. There were plenty of comfortable places to sit and watch the stars of an evening and whilst we only ate dinner once at the hotel, we found the food to be excellent. They were only too happy to make us the dish that wasn’t on the menu as they were to make us a pack lunch to take away the next day.

My husband took me to Jordan for my birthday this past weekend and we spent two nights in the Petra Sella Hotel. It was absolutely perfect. We arrived a little bit late to the hotel on the first night. When we got there they offered us a welcome drink, checked us in and asked if we were hungry. The kitchen was closed already, but they opened it up just for us so we could try some local food. It was amazing. After a delicious meal we went to bed. The room was really clean and cozy. The bed was so comfortable I feel right to sleep. The next morning we were up early to go to the Petra Historical Site. Breakfast ready for us when we went downstairs (which was included in the room price). The food was so good each day and there was plenty of it as well. We had a rental car so going to do sightseeing and going the main part of town was really easy. The staff were extremely helpful. They offered us directions and suggestions of places to go. I would highly recommend someone stay at this hotel on their next trip to Jordan. :)
