            Fantastic Location”
I enjoyed my stay at Pura Vita. It's situated on Long Set Beach, which isn't too far from the main port of Koh Touch. A couple of the ferries stop at Long Set, but ours didn't so the resort sent a small boat to pick us up from the pier and drop us back off at the end of our stay, free of charge. The bungalows are simple, but clean and pretty spacious and provide a great view of the beach and the ocean. The staff could be a bit more responsive, we had trouble tracking someone down to ask for extra towels and things like that, but the man who works at the main desk and generally runs the place was very kind and helpful. The food was alright, but there are places in Koh Touch where the quality and price are a bit better. My advice would be to enjoy the resort and the peacefulness of Long Set during the day, but join all of the locals and backpackers at Koh Touch for a livelier evening.

Not what it seems to be!”
I stayed at Pura Vita four years ago. It was the only resort on that beach at that time. The owner was a woman from Bulgaria and it was beautiful. Now it’s owned by other people and it is not the same. Bungalows were in a bad shape, running water was so dirty that you couldn’t even wash your face. Restaurant was dirty and the food was not good. They even stop the wifi at 9 pm so that they could get rid of the people at the restaurant. I had to send some important emails and had to beg the guy at the reception to turn the wifi for 5 more minutes. It was absurd.. The only good thing is the location (right by the beautiful beach). For half the price, you can go and stay at much better places on the same beach at Koh Rong.

We stayed another night... highly recommend!”
We were sceptical at first to book two nights due to other reviews we read about Koh Rong island being dirty and full of rubbish in general. We spoke to a lady at the port when booking our boat transfer and she mentioned this part of the beach was nicer so went ahead with one night to start. On arrival we were greeted with clear water and white sand with the hotel on the right next to the pier. 2 min walk away. Huts are pretty basic as expected on an island but that’s part of the experience. Peaceful area and easy to find space and a sun lounger to relax on. Food is reasonable and $1 for a local beer seemed fair. Staff are all super helpful and helped us book our outbound travel when we couldn’t get seats online. We booked another night at the same price pretty last minute and it was all accommodated. As our current room had been booked already they moved our room and upgraded us for the same price! On the last night there was a crazy storm that brought tree leaves and debris all over the beach. The staff at the hotel worked straight away to clear this up and it was clear again by the afternoon. Clearly this section of beach is maintained. Finally, if you are there for some days there are tours, you can enjoy the bar and areas of almost all the other hotels on the strip so there is quite a lot to do if you get bored of the beach easily. Couldn’t recommend enough! David & Sara

Our bungalow was perfect located in front row to the beach and it was awesome! The staff is really kind and helps you in every situation. The beach is nice too! However you have to be prepared to not have any warm water and there's not always power for light or charging your devices.. Food is ok but there's other places within walking distance as well!

We stayed during a busy few days - it was during Chinese New Year holiday, so I believe the "resort" was fully booked. These bungalows are on a beautiful part of Koh Rong Island, even when fully booked you'll be able to enjoy the sea and sand in a relatively quiet place. The bungalows themselves are fine - we actually booked a closed AC "villa" bungalow and were quite comfortable. Rooms are not housekept during your stay, and water/shower pressure was low. Again, not a priority if you are here for the island stay. Breakfast is fine, but we often took lunch/dinner at the Longset Resort, or Sandbank thai restaurant down the beach. Would recommend if you're looking forward to mostly being left alone and can get a relatively good deal/special price.

Localization is ok. Nothing alse. We left at night maybe on 3 minutes our phone and speaker which was playing the music at this moment. When we came back it was nothing. Someone steal it in 3 minutes during the night. We asked a man in the reception maybe they help with it. The man said do not live things outside and that it is very common if it comes with tents... If they have that problem maybe they need security. We have paid a lot for this resort thinking about the quality of it. Disappointing. All resorts with this standard are a lot cheaper then this. Very bad internet in the reception, poor breakfast (included) and expensive restaurant. We eat and drink in Coral resort. Good food, wifi , the same standard of the resort for half price.

            Stunning beach ”
The 4k beach is absolutely stunning! The hotel arranged free boat pick up from and to the pier which is a bonus. We hired a boat from the hotel to the island across the beach for some snorkelling experience which was fantastic. The hut is very basic- no hot water for shower but that's what you expect for a remote island like this. Breakfast choices were slim but my kids loved their chocolate pancakes. Staff were friendly and lady who runs this place speaks very good English so communication was easy.

Good location, basic bungalows, over priced for what you get.”
Basic beach bungalows, with basic service. Expensive for what you get. Resort next door blasted Khmer techno at high volume, the manager of our resort took it up with them when we complained. We were traveling with friends and they woke up one night when someone was trying to break into their bungalow. Restaurant expensive and not so good. Better options down the beach. Good massage. Overall can't recommend. KOH Rong probably used to be an "undiscovered" destination, but not anymore. Getting crowded, overpriced with poor services. There's so many better island destinations in Asia.

The place feels homey, with friendly English speaking staff. This quiet family business resort is amongst the cleanest we’ve walked on the island. Free pick up from on the main pier can be arranged in advance with the manager. It’s far enough from the village that you won’t be bothered by the party seaking backpackers.

We did not understand this high note the hotel has on Agoda. It is pretty far from the piers and where everything happens, around 35/40 minutes walking. If you want to take a boat it is 15$ per person which is pretty expensive if you are looking to do savings. The rooms are really simple and ours had spiders web in it. Plus it was raining and the rain would drop inside the room. We were so disappointed that we left to a hotel next door!

Not a bad place for relaxation!”
I stayed here for 2 nights. The resort / bungalows are located on Long Set Beach (also known as 4K beach). This beach is absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful! This is the main reason I stayed here. I wanted to stay far away from the college like / party backpacker scene as much as possible (Koh Toch Beach). I also want to say that the man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! I forgot his name. Now for the things I didn't like... The bungalows were very basic. They are made out of old teak wood and have 1 small fan inside. I understand it's an old "bungalow" on the beach, but for the price I paid I figured it would be a little bit better. The worse part is that I got eaten alive by mosquitos (even with the mosquito net surrounding the bed). I woke up with literally 50+ red marks and welts on my body (not joking). It was painful. If you stay here, I recommend wearing long sleeves and pants (which would be uncomfortable in an already hot fan room). Last thing... I made a BIG mistake when arriving. I walked from Koh Toch pier where the boat drops you off and walked 3-4 km's to get to the resort on 4K Beach. I was extremely exhausted carrying all my luggage. Little did I know that the resort will pick you up for free from the pier, but you must call them ahead of time.
