I stayed at this hotel in March and it was fantastic. Clean room, great beds... pool view, short drive to Disney.. This trip in May... pool view, dingy room, awful beds and a 40.00 deposit per night. New company policy as of March 31 2018 that I was not aware of. I did get my deposit back in full however it took two days. Due to deposit I will not stay at this resort again.

My first time staying at this hotel, I found it to be very good. If you are going to any of the Walt Disney Parks, hotel provides a free shuttle that you have to sign-up to receive a voucher. Interesting enough, shuttle makes its last stop at this hotel before going to Epcot or any other Orlando parks for a fee (i.e. Universal studios, etc.). A schedule of the shuttle times is provided. No shuttle for the airport I'm afraid. Although I scheduled a Uber ride a few days in advance and it worked just fine. If you need to purchase anything, Walmart which is opened 24/hr is around the corner in a short walking distance along with some restaurants down the street. Hotel may be outdated, perhaps from the '60s, the room itself was comfortable enough. There was a small frig in our room although my dad had difficulty using the coffee machine as it didn't work quite as well as it should despite having same model at home. Wouldn't mind staying at the hotel in the future.

If your looking for a very good blue collar Hotel and plan on visiting the Disney parks this Hotel is great....the grounds and outside of the buildings need to be freshened up but the room we had was very clean and the bedding made for comfortable sleep...good towels too......the bathroom had a newer tub and tile which was good for bathing babies. We spent all our time at the parks and really just slept and freshened up as far as our usage, in fact the premises is so close to the parks we would do a afternoon siesta then go back to the parks late afternoon till night. The hotel does have pools and other attractions as well...good cup of coffee in the room too...the room offered everything we needed.

Great Value & Location”
I'm a Grandmother with 3 grandkids (15,11,10) visiting Orlando (Disney). This hotel was a great value, good location and had a bus to Disney. Back at the hotel, the kids and I had a blast in the pools (there were 3 pools to choose from). I wish they had a hot tub, but that was the only thing that would have made the hotel better. The kids enjoyed the air hockey table in the very small rec room, and really enjoyed the gym room (they are all into running and exercise). Rooms were clean and plenty of room. Restaurant in the hotel was being remodeled, but there was a Bob Evan's and Perkins across the street that we walked to with no problems. We will stay there again for sure whenever we are in Orlando.

WONDERFULLY SURPRISED!!!!!!”
We had to change our Disney plans by a week earlier because of relatives visiting from Houston, Texaas, who wanted to take their granddaughter and daughter to the Magic Kingdom. I had to cancel my original hotel plans, could not get a room for a week earlier at my chosen hotel so I had to go searching for a new place to stay. When Red Lions came up as a possible chose, I immediately looked for the essentials I look for in a hotel, Great staff, clean, pool, hot tub, food on site, etc. Being in a pretty desperate state, i thought I was just settling but after check-in and walking around the grounds that night and the next day, I found that this place is a great place to stay. With three adult pools, a kiddie pool, gift shop, travel desk with onsight advisors, etc., and lots of areas for solace, I was happy being there. My only sadness was that the resturant was being renovated but hopefully will be open upon my next visit. I also thought from looking at the pictures that the place was a smaller hotel but found that they have the capacity to take in last minute guest because they are not small. Another plus, right down the road from Disney and they even have a shuttle going to Disney more than once per day.

Unpleasant surprise”
On our arrival, the rxternal facade was very appealing, lovely, in fact! The Art Deco design was well-maintained, and quite pretty. Location is what you are paying for. Our room was barely a step above a Super 8 and I thank Agoda for having a great price on the room as the motel's site prices were $100 more per night. It was clean however, and had upgraded fixtures. Problem is, they skimped on mattresses and bedding. The staff that we came into contact with were friendly, but inefficient and lacked professionalism. My friend stepped out of her room to come to mine while in the process of loafing her vehicle and the house keeping staff took her remaining items out of the room! She had not even checked out yet! That was an hour long drama in itself. The pool area is definitely a focal point with beautiful landscaping and very nicely maintained. Pros: location, location, location; pool area Cons: highly over-priced, unprofessional staff, cheaply made bedding, lousy mattress

worst customer service ever,!!”
i would never go back to this hotel ever!! they neva ckeaned my room, even when i asked. they'll say, "we will come back" and either never do or come back and ask do we need more towels and tell us that they'll clean tomorrow!!! the staff act as if they are slow. you have to put fown a $25 depost but you get it back once u leave! so i pau with cash so i didnt have to wait 3-5 business dsys bc i needed all of my money. so they take $25 off my card as well and didnt accommodate me!! at all

Bed bugs and unresponsive staff”
Albeit the hotel is in a good location in proximity to the parks of Disney World, the risks of getting a room with bed bugs is not worth it. The room that we had was generally unclean and both beds contained bed begs. Having bed bug bites all over your body, if you have never come across them, is a horrible experience and a traveller's nightmare. We first thought they must have been mosquito bites but we saw the critters scuttling around the pillows and linen in the early hours of the morning. Upon immediately notifying staff at the desk, they could only provide an email address to lodge a formal complaint. I had tried to get in contact with them 3 times over the span of over two weeks and no one has responded. This hotel has poor guest relations. Book at risk.

The woman who checked us in whose name I believe is Neean(morning shift) was completely rude to us during our arrival at this place. She refused to accomodate us in a timely manner and had us waiting for over 2 hrs in the lobby.

Terrible Staff!!!”
I arrived here with my mom and gf. I chose this place because of convenient location to go to theme parks. Checking in was hell in this hotel. Everything seemed to be ok when I got a key but when we went upstairs with all heavy stuff we had after a long trip it turned out that room was in mess and not ready. I went back and told them that room is in mess. Have not heard any apologies they just stuck me one more key from another room and you know what? That room was not ready either. Being super angry I went back and ended up with the hotel employee (who gave me the key) who spoke to me in a rude way and saying that it is not his fault. I spoke to a manager and she was not much interested in helping me either. She gave me 1 key instead of 2 as ut supposed to be and sent to another room. We went through the whole hotel to the different part of it and you know what??? The key did not work out. From the fourth attempt they gave 2 working keys. That must be the reason to fire a manager at least given the described situation. Poeple like she do not have to be on such positions. What is more? Later on I called to ask about the iron because it was absent in my room even though the stand was there. They said that they would bring it up but never did of course. What is more? I called to ask about a microwave oven. Concierge said (in ironic way) that they do not have it. What a surprise was when we were going through hotell lobby and found the microwave oven. Conclusion: hotel itself is good and location is great. Service is TERRIBLE! Manager of the hotel must investigate such cases and make conclusions.

Near disney parks”
*Good location - near the 4 Disney parks. They have free shuttle service to Disney and with a little fee to Universal. There are good restaurants nearby. Gift shop with cheap Disney souvenirs and seven eleven convenience store are just on the other side of the highway. * Staff at the reception were nice and friendly. However they don't have a bell boy or staff to help you with your luggage. It was raining when we arrived, our room was in building 3 and nobody assisted us with our luggage. Receptionist said they don't have someone to assist us. They assume that you have a car and would just drive to the building. *Resort fee should be optional or cheaper. We stayed there for 10 nights but we never went to their pool since we were always out at the theme parks and water parks. We also didn't use the parking since we don't have a car. So we paid the resort fee for nothing.
