The young lady at the reception desk was attentive. Her English was very good and I just loved her French accent. We booked a bigger room with sea view, but the room they gave me was a smaller one with no view. I only found this out after I got to the room. So it took a while to go back down to the lobby to explain it, change the room, move the luggage to a different wing, all taking the tiny and slow elevator. I usually get really irritated by such hectic incidents, but somehow the young French lady's earnest attitude to rectify the problem calmed me down. The hotel felt very St. Malo, and we enjoyed our stay.

I only stayed for one night but I had a nice & comfortable night. I was welcomed professionally. The room was nice, cleaned and quiet. The hotel is next to the train station with many restaurants around, the city center is only 15 minutes away on foot. Very nice back garden. I had a pleasant stay and I couldn’t find anything wrong with this hotel. I shall come back. Thank you.

I was very surprised that the quality of the hotel was much better than I expected. I was traveling in France for 8days and this hotel is the best and the cheapest. The hotel is in front of Renne station, staff are friendly, comfortable and clean room, the bath room is big enough. I had to walk about 30 minutes to the big Marche but the town is beautiful to walk around and it's easy to use trains if you like.

The place is nice and clean, the only 2 things we did not like was he noise which was coming through the room. When people were talking on the corridor we would hear everything. And the other 1 was the pillows. The pillows were so thin and flat, you cannot be giving that to customers to use. Those pillows are gone and need to be replaced.

You can tell the hotel is being renovated as there’s a smell of fresh paint in the corridor and some of the bedrooms have new doors with temporary room numbers. The room we had was on the 4th floor, and one that hasn’t been renovated. So, the carpet is a bit threadbare in places and the bath plug hole was full of hair which meant when you shower the bath gets filled with water. The walls are also quite thin which means you can hear when the occupants of the adjourning room use their bathroom. However, other than that, the room was great value for money. The bed we had was 2 singles joined together and there was plenty of space for our panniers (we’d been cycling - storage at the garage at €3 each). The bathroom was fully tiled and clean (apart from the plug hole). There’s a small fridge, a small TV and air conditioning which is helpful in the hot weather we had. The location is the best, a couple of minutes’ walk, you’re on the beach or the restaurant and shops. Will stay again.

This is a clean modern room, and the pictures match the room we got #008 on the ground floor. Also, very convenient that there was a restaurant onsite. The food was also good, I ordered the duo fish dish and my husband had the steak. Staff was friendly enough and place close to the highway.

Brand new. Edge of town in a office/commercial zone. Super clean. AirCon. Excellent multilingual staff. Secure parking behind a barrier, 3E per night. 15 parking bays undercover of the building itself. RFID door keys. Good WiFi, fibre backbone (38Mb/s down, 16Mb/s up speedtest). I don't know where the 'apartment' logic/tradition comes from in France. They equip a normal modern hotel room (all bed linen, towels, toiletries supplied) , with an additional small kitchenette. Kinda cute. So, within your room, you have microwave, fridge, cooker hob, and all the ancillary kit, plates, cutlery, etc. One is tempted to think it provides for 'discrete' weekend. Reception is manned until 7pm (1900hrs). Thereafter, somewhat bizarrely one is sent an SMS-text message for the front-door entry code. And the code for a small wall safe which contains your room key. Again, this procedure is well known in France. Anyway, overall, highly pleasant, my compliments to the staff ..

Hotel location just in front of train station ( gare de rennes ). There are plenty cafes and local restaurant around. About 10minutes by walk to centre commercial area. Justine was very helpful during my check in. Main bus station just 5 minutes by walk. Buses like flixbus, eurolines, etc. Even bus to Le Mont Saint Michel. Elevator is small, and only have 1. Nothing bad from this hotel. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel.

We stayed for two nights in August. We had a triple room which was large, perfect for three adults and very comfortable. We were greeted by very friendly staff everytime we went near Reception. Parking is easy as it is just outside the hotel doors. Our room had a double and a single bed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The room had a lockable safe big enough for a laptop and a good size bathroom. The bathroom itself had shelves where you could put your toilet bag and provided good size towels. The shower worked well, although the water was slow to drain in the sink. WiFi was free and worked really well at all times. Plenty of electrical sockets and a desk completed the room. We found although the hotel was very busy it was really quiet and both nights we slept really well. We did not take breakfast at the hotel although this was explained to us as a cold buffet instead we went out to explore. We would happily return.

We got this room booked by accident, as it was a weekend, late afternoon and everything around were sold out except this hotel. Newly renovated specious room with separated toilet and bathroom, and small overlooking the street balcony, very nice for a morning coffee. AC working perfectly, so if you in town during summer time don’t hesitate to take this option. Very quiet, you don’t hear the neighbors. The only issue I have, in our bathroom was loose lightbulb and it was continuously flashing, we didn’t reported it as we staid only one night, otherwise great hotel with 10-15 min walk to the port.

It was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Normandy/Brittany. Lovely modern rooms furnished with new and top-end designer appliances, warm and tasetful designs with attention to details. Wonderful owner who manned the reception and was extremely warm and friendly. Located within 10 mins walk of the Saint Malo city. 1 mins away from the beachfront and quai.

I have stayed in a Kyriad in Paris(Disneyland) which was very basic but did the job,however this time I was staying to visit a relative who lived locally in Lannion and this hotel was perfectly situated!Very comfortable bed,lovely bathroom,tea/coffee making facilities too. Ideally located within walking distance to various restaurants and supermarket. Will definitely stay here again!

Very relaxing after a long journey..the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby..I would recommend this hotel to any single female travelling alone..it has good parking and is conveniently located across the road from the train station..but the windows keep the noise levels down..oh..did I mention free wifi...perfect...

It’s nearly saint malo station and bus station, room is very clean and enough space for 2 people.

The hotel is perfect if you are moving to know all the area. Beds super nice and comfortable, Everything super clean and the best part for me was the breakfast! Super good , totally worth it .

Very clean rooms, staff were great at English to help us around. Breakfast was very simple, no cooked breakfasts accepts boiled eggs. More continental based and a bit of a strange set up but it was sufficient. A heads up for Rennes is that there is little to non things open on Sunday's so I would not recommend being there that day if you can avoid, it was especially difficult as it was a rainy day which was unfortunate. Lovely gardens and town centre so close with many cafes and restaurants, shops. Rooms fairly spacious in my opinion, nice to have simple kitchen resources with a fridge, sink, microwave and utensils and cutlery/plates/bowls. Overall a pleasant stay. I enjoyed a weekend break there.

We stayed for one night at Ibis Rennes Centre Gare Sud and the room was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The staff spoke English and were helpful. The best thing about the hotel was the location, right by the metro station. Parking is not included and is quite expensive. Other than that, a great place to stay.

We stopped here on our way through from Paris. Very happy with our stay, just over £65 for 6 of us to stay the night, decided not to book a breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. Free tea and coffee and biscuits available in reception area. Requested interconnecting rooms on booking and they were provided. rooms quiet as away from main roads. Needed a car to get to a place to eat in the evening as the hotel restaurant was unfortunately closed. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, the usual soap and shower gel provided. Friendly staff at reception who accommodated our very limited French. would certainly stay again.

Sloping wall and small windows made the apartment seem smaller, but overall well furnished and modern, if a little bland. handy kitchen but need to hire kettle or coffee machine. Not all rooms have baths so dont rely on the photos. Good value.

Our stay was way too short. We arrived very late and the night receptionist was excellent!!!

Clean, modern, spacious and well-equipped. It was perfect for our family of 3 + our dog. I would not recommend the breakfast as the selection is really limited, but otherwise a very good stay.

The location is good in a peaceful area near the heart of saint malo (car is advised). Be careful, the breakfast is not included and you have to mention if you do not want it. The staff and owner are very insistant on the fact you have to take it so be clear if you do not want it. Not very good room for the price we paid. One small window only and very hot atmosphere although it was April and not hot outside (around 10 degrees C) Probably rooms booked with agoda are not as good as when you call directly. We had no view on the park. Manager is helpful to give information but not very customer oriented for the rest.

Quiet enough. Easy to find. Very close to motorway back Eastward. Good food. Far superior standards all round for not much more ££ compared to Premier Class!

Not the best hotel for the Solo Traveller, The double bed is a pull out sofa which wasn't very comfortable. I had to pay for towels (6Eu for one) and internet access and the walls are very thin. Had to listen to my neighbours talk late into the night. The Reception is only manned for a few hours a day and got charged a "tourist tax" when I checked in.
