Ultra clean, spacious, modern facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Only the kitchen needs some further expansion to deal with the number of guests they are having as expectedly everyone seems to be booking this hostel. I will recommend it any day any time.

I stayed at the generator for 7 nights in a mix 8 dorm bedroom. It had 2 shower rooms a toilet room and a separate sink. The layout felt like I was sharing the room with only 3 other people instead of 7. So it never felt crowded. There are lockers underneath the beds where you can lock up your things if you have your own lock. If you don't the reception sells locks too. I recommend bringing a lock that's a bit bigger because my small one struggled to get through the loop and lock properly sometimes. The shower was nice. There is a shower curtain so your items don't get wet. The shower I had was a bit temperamental sometimes with the temperature, but that's me being picky. You can adjust the temperature and the pressure of the shower easily. The room got really hot some nights and opening the windows hardly let in any air to the top bunk. Each bed got their own power point and light. I had a room which had its windows facing the front of the hostel. Currently there is construction going on on the opposite side of the street, I wasn't really bothered with it but it could be a bother for people who are light sleepers and want a sleep in. Staff were really friendly and helpful. They printed my documents for me without charge. The location was great. The generator is located between 2 station and in walking distance to many major attractions. Overall a great stay at the generator.

Kind people, very Friendly. Quiet hotel. Bedroom and Shared bathroom (with 10 rooms) was clean. At Check In (4pm to 6pm) you have to paid 50Kr for a bedsheet single bed and 20Kr for one towel, mean you have to make your bed yourself. At Check Out time (10am) you have to return keys and bedsheet at the office desk. Good WiFi signal in the room. Shared Kitchen well furnished. (

For those who want to stay away from noise, this is a good location. Its not very far from the main attractions of copenhagen and the best way to travel from the hotel to city centre is the train. The hotel is walking distance from the Tarnby station and a 7-Eleven is inside the station. For basic stuff like lite bites and drinks, hotel has it at affordable prices. Staff is available round the clock in case you need something You may face a problem with hot water at times, rare though.

Very happy with the room and its decoration, the room is clean and well-equipped, the building is located very close to city center, the elevator is a cherry on top. The staff here are friendly and helpful, we did have a problem with parking ticket, they helped us contacted the police too :D ... Only that we have to find the parking along the road with parking fee, but i guess that is general practice here in Copenhagen. ^U^

Loved Sallie's restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. The motel's staff were extremely helpful and kind. I enjoyed the underfloor heating in the bathroom after chilly rainy days!

Nice villa with 2 shared bathrooms (one big, one small). Beds were comfy. Nice decoration and garden. Location a little bit out of the city center but ok for me since we came by car. Would recommend to stay here. Easy check in via a locked key box, we were allowed to check in early since the room was already clean (no guests before).

In many way, it was fine. Unfortunately, they had entered our registration wrongly, so when we arrived, the room we had paid for was not available. We had booked twin beds and sea view. Neither of this was available. We got another room, but with a double bed that made sleeping very difficult. The NeXT day they moved us to a room we had booked. The staff tried their best, and as a compensation, we got a nice dinner. No complaints!! Otherwise, the hotel was nice and clean. When it is a room for two, it would have been nice to have two nice chairs, so that one of us did not have to sit on the bed.

the room was fine and the toilets were small but acceptable. however, there was a mix up about the payment for the room and i ended up being double charged for my room which i am upset about. location isn't exactly the best but still manageable. it was only a one night stay so i didn't get to use the pantry and i didn't have time for the breakfast either.

Overall a good stay at this place. The hotel has a convenient, central location. There are bikes for rental (20 Euro per day) which are great for exploring the city. Breakfast was also ok for the price and the choice was quite diverse. The room was simple but clean and nice, considering also the price (for average costs in Denmark). Unfortunately, we had some unexpected extra costs - one of the reasons we chose this hotel was, because animals were allowed. Together with the reservation/ booking we mentioned that we are arriving with a small dog - but no one gave us advanced notice on the extra charges of 20 Euro per night, that we additionally had to pay directly at the hotel.

this is a good hotel to stay in copenhagen for both business and leisure. it is well located, offers good value for the money and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. the only minus were the bedcovers / duvets that were individual rather than double, but this seems to be the norm in denmark.

Soft big bed, tub n shower, toiletries, kettle, coffee, tea, daily housekeeping n friendly and helpful staff! Awesome! Dilemma (cons): facing train tracks (nice view of city!) that screeched metal on metal all day and some at night. Double glazed window blocked all the noise! On warmer nights(not a lot in Denmark)I turned the small fan on. No AC. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. 10 mins walk to Tivoli.

Sharing the bathroom was not an issue, most guests are pretty considerate. The single room I had faces the street but it was good cos the sun shines in and made the whole room so much warmer! (this was an usually cold May weather). The couple who ran the hotel and the lady cook/helper were friendly and welcoming - it was like staying at a friend's house really. Breakfast was good, better on the weekends I suspect cos it was the wife and lady cook around; I guess weekday breakfast could do with more variety. The train station is a 15-20 min walk away & u can get to parts of Copenhagen easily. Hotel also rents out bike which is a good way to discover Copenhagen. I like the hotel and will stay there if I were to visit Copenhagen again.

This hotel was great, family friendly, and one staff member in particular was extremely helpful and compassionate with our situation of lost luggage - he could not have done more. The breakfast is a buffet with a great fresh assortment available. This hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Wheel of Copenhagen and 15 minutes to the Tivoli.

Get one of the comfortable rental bikes and ride through the lovely ocean-side forest on nice ride directly into capital Ronne, only 10 minutes. Ample breakfast and various well-cooked dinner menus available. Flexible friendly staff.

The annex rooms are new, clean and nice but very small. The bed is too soft. Nice garden with direct access to the hilly beach - around 200 m from the water edge.

This hotel is in a great location, but the rooms are very stuffy and hot! There's no air conditioning, but they do supply a small desk fan and a printout that suggests you should open your windows to cool the room if you're hot. Sounds fine, until you realise you're on HC Boulevard and there are sirens racing past constantly (must be a hospital nearby and you get ambulances and specialist surgeons' vehicles with blaring sirens). It's impossible to sleep with the window shut (stuffy) or open (noise). Other than that, the rooms are ok and the toiletries nice. We had the housekeeping trolley parked outside our door all the time though, so it was a 2-way manoeuvre to get in and out of the room. Denmark is expensive, but I think $400 a night is too much for what we got.

Nice relaxed break convenient for the town. By far the better of the two hotels near each other.

Although we only stayed one night, we were very impressed with the friendly staff, the great location, the nice clean room, the excellent breakfast, and the interesting history of the building. This is not a luxury hotel but it was perfect for people like us who are usually out and about.

The hotel is great. We had a sea view room which was worth the extra. The balcony was a bonus. The view over the bay was lovely. The beach is only a few minutes walk away. The room was quite large and very clean. The bathroom was a good size and had a bath. There is a small casino attached to the hotel. The breakfast room was opulent and the food good. The orange juicer was pretty cool!

This hotel is about 2 blocks from the railway station, so easy to walk to.For Denmark,the room is reasonably priced and the rooms of a good size.We loved the morning breakfast with a nice buffet style. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we visit Copenhagen again.

The Comwell Holte Hotel is ca. 35 km away from Central Copenhagen and the North Coast of Sealand. It is relatively close to the castles in Hillerod and Fredensburg. The rooms are of decent size (except for shower) and comfortable. Everything is clean and the reception staff is very helpful. The hotel is only suitable for travelers with a car. Beware of the address, there are several Kongegade 195 and one has to find the one north of Holte.

It's near the train station and Tivoli (which is way cooler than Disneyland). The breakfast buffet is good, especially considering that most of the local cafes are closed in the morning. We were a bit surprised about the lack of fridge, but maybe that's just how things are done in Denmark? The furnishings are horrible, with old wooden cupboards, thin twin mattresses (on a double bed) and an old bathroom.

when we first arrived, we were given a twin room despite requesting for double room with big bed. this was rectified immediately after we spoke to reception which was brilliant. the rooms are clean and well maintained, which is a plus point. free usage of the computers at the hotel lobby as well as free wifi anywhere in the hotel. all rooms in the hotel has no air conditioning but this was not an issue (we went in summer but was windy) as opening the balcony windows slightly made the room cooling enough to sleep. we had a room facing the streets. thursday night was the only night we encountered some rowdy drinkers making a lot of noise downstairs. you will also hear the church bells chiming every half an hour but that was not much of an issue for us. location is fantastic as we were able to walk everywhere without the need of any transport. if you arrive at the airport, just take a train to central station and walk approximately 7-10 minutes to the hotel. you can also rent the city bikes if required for a dkk 10 deposit refundable upon returning the bikes. we used 1 of those to visit the little mermaid which was a bit far out and returned it at the street behind the hotel. no major issues with the hotel and we really liked it though 1 issue is that there were no complimentary water provided. i am ok with that but i feel that at least a kettle should be provided in the room. overall i enjoyed my stay and would not mind staying again though i'll make sure to bring my own mini kettle next time!

We booked junior suits for two nights of our first visit to Copenhagen. The hotel certainly has the beautiful historical look from outside and given the high rating we decided to give it a try. Its location gives a convenience of walking distance to most of the sightseeings meanwhile has nice surroundings. However it’s quite over priced and the 4 star is a very generous rating given its basic facility. The room is quite old and dusty, although the daily cleaning vacuums the floor the dust on furniture and corners isn’t great for sensitive skins. We tried dinner and breakfast at Salt, an over priced restaurant e.g. a small fried mushroom ball is priced at DKK50. Is tips mandatory in Denmark? We were informed a tip was added to our restaurant bill during hotel checkout while we didn’t put it down at the dinner. At last the hotel staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel was even fully booked the night before we arrive. We will try somewhere else if we come back visit this city again.

First of all, the hotel is literally opposite the main entrance to the Copenhagen Central station - so it's really a fantastic location. Having said that, the station is a bit confusing and I went out the opposite side and then wasted 15-20 minutes trying to find the hotel - eventually someone told me to go back in and get out on the other side, and then the hotel was literally across the road. Easy to get to from the airport, easy to get around the city. It's a lovely old building with a quaint elevator - but all very well maintained. Staff were warm, friendly, and extremely helpful with recommending and booking restaurants and telling me how to get there. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was very nice indeed. Gym was a bit basic but not bad - I got in 2 very decent workouts Room was nice and cosy, not cramped. I'd read online that the proximity to the train station could make the hotel noisy but I slept like a log on both nights and nothing disturbed me. I also went into the highly recommended Library bar for a very nicely made Old Fashioned - and it was a very nice bar, great lighting and decor Overall, very highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean. Breakfast was delicious and great that it is included in the price of the room, our other hotel charged extra. The price was very reasonable, as most things in Denmark tend to be on the pricey side. One small detail that would be very handy for travellers would be a small notepad in the rooms, there is always a need for a tourist. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends!
