Karlovy Vary Region hotels & places to stay

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, spacious room. The bathroom is large with comfortable shower area. We were first agoda guests to stay there and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I got a bit ill late in the evening and although kitchen and pub were closed, the reception staff offered tea. Don't be scared to stay away from city centre, it takes only 10 min to get to town by bus and you can purchase the ticket from the reception (cost on one ticket is 0.75 Euro). The parking is plentiful - make sure you check out the creative idea they used to pain the parking wall (such a nice welcome! :-)) We would stay in this hotel again

This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed in for the price! The staff really go out of their way to make your stay as pleasurable, comfortable and memorable as they can! The free breakfast was also amazing with a choice of hot and cold items. If you come to this hotel, ask for room 132, it has a large balcony overlooking the town! Finally the location is the best, right in the middle of Karlovy-Vary with walking distance to all the key attractions. While you are here, also be sure to check out the restaurant called "Grill James," my wife said this was one of the best steaks she has ever had in her life!

This small hotel is located right on the Main Street of Karlovy Vary, within a few minites walk to al the spas and mineral water spots. Despite its size, it does have an elevator. The rooms are a bit old but they are clean. The room size is pretty good too. Hotel staff are friendly. The breakfast isn’t something to be raving about, but food in Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary specifically) isn’t a god attraction anyway.

The hotel is located very close to centre, easy to walk anywhere. The rooms is a littel small but clean and enough for short stay. Flat TV is a little old... Breakfast nice.

Anglicky Dvur is a located just five minutes walking distance from the city center of Karlovy Vary. This is a spa hotel that offers medical treatments, also. The hotel is located in an old building that has been renovated beautifully. The breakfast was fine. You can also preorder lunch and dinner but this is not necessary because there are many nice restaurants in the city center. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

It was really good, we went out to watch the football game on TV in a restaurant and came back very late, the lady was waiting for us.

Everything was perfect, they have a very nice restaurant on the -1 floor. The hotel is very clean and stylish. Nothing to complain about.

There was some confusion (a problem with our room) and we were moved to a different hotel managed by the same people. The Hotel Corvus was a couple of hundred metres away and more than adequate. Parking was across the river and pricey. The food served and Junessience next door (managing hotel) was inexpensive and delicious. Overall a good stay. Not a lot of English spoken by staff....

A cozy hotel well-tugged away from the main thoroughfare. Comfortable room for a good rest after long walks. Beautiful scenery and quiet surrounding near the hotel. Good for strolls and nice walks. Really relaxing and healing to the mind and soul. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Enjoyed the well-decorated dining room. The spread was simple but well- selected for guests. Staff service was commendable. They were generally helpful in providing us information we need. Overall, the stay was memorable and the best for our holiday to Eastern Europe.

The hotel was really pleasant and very centrally located. Unfortunately the trip was spoilt as I had booked two rooms and neither had hot water...added to this, the car parking charges were on the steep side..and there was no tv channel in English!

Nice hotel, nice furniture. The hotel is made of 3 buildings, so if your room is located in the building that is behind, it will not be accessible for disabled persons.

Very satisfied with Humboldt Hotel. It is a walking distance to the bus station and to all the sights in Karlovy Vary. The room was well kept, very clean. The staff will always greet you with a smile. The breakfast buffet were very good and delicious. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

They made me wait for a long time. They said that is normal if the reservation is done through Agoda. So eventually I left the hotel for the lunch and went back only after 2 hours. Then they solved the problem.

We have a very nice week in Hotel continental, the staff was very friendly to us, during rain you have the option to go to the swimming pool or sauna area or even relax in the comfortable room. Buffet breakfast needs to have more varieties and it is similar to 3 stars hotels.

We enjoyed having a walking path through the woods, literally, at the front door. On occasion we use this path to take a round about way into town. The hotel is located on a rise overlooking Marianske Lazne. We enjoyed the relaxing stay so much that we chose to extend our stay by another night. I would not hesitate to return.

I am a business traveler and travel from hotel to hotel already for decades. Due to the many hotels I book, I normally don’t write references, but for this hotel I made an exception. This hotel is absolutely terrible! Pass it, there are so many good alternatives in this town, also more situated to the center of the town. Reception: It took nearly a half hour before I could check in, with only 2 people before me, the reception was so slow, and couldn’t speak English. It is a pre-pay hotel! All the days need to be paid in advance, and shortly after I understood why. This keeping you away from changing the hotel, what I certainly would have done if I didn’t have to pay all the days at once. Second, they are used to it due to the many Russians in the hotel, it is full of it. There is an elevator it old and small, your suitcase just fit in and like the reception it takes time before start to move. The rooms are old style, dark wood something from the past. The matrass of the bed is good, but the blanket too short, either your feet are uncovered or part of your upper body and that doesn’t sleep well. To shower is situated in the bad, it as a small bad and slippery too. The bad has a too long shower curtain that lays half at the bottom of the bath. The showerhead has a too short hose what makes standing showering impossible and even when the shower hose was longer there is no shower rod, only a wall hook at a ridiculous low level. The bar is situated in the middle of the hotel not too far from the reception, but it doesn’t belong to the hotel it bartender told me, this is really hard to believe. In any case, you need to pay immediately your consumption, a bill to your room is impossible here. This bad service stops already at 22.00, the time the bar closes. Spa, although I wouldn’t call it a spa. A swimming pool, a Turkish sauna and somewhere a Finnish sauna. The last one I haven’t seen, it was fully booked all the time and you need to pay for it. Great staff, location and breakfast. Very small toilet and bathroom but still really nice place to stay and enjoy the city directly in its hearth.

A clean a tidy room, a very nice building, the only problem is the parking is so far away from the hotel...

I liked traditional Czech style of room, enjoyed breakfast, and every staff was so friendly even though they spoke broken English.

Its a charming big old Villa. My Room was a little aged, but my Bathroom was newly renovated and extremely nice. Very quiet Location, very safe area. The Spa is magnificent, very new, very clean.

We were in the annex which was not clear when we booked - looked as though we would have one of those grand rooms. No minibar, no tea/coffee making facilities which bearing in mind the bar was closed at 21.45 when we returned to the hotel was pretty poor. Receptionist on arrival was over fussy and not sure why we had to leave so many details when we had pre-paid for B&B. However breakfast was excellent and location lovely.

It's an apartment so don't expect that you will get full service in this place. the staff doesn't speak English but still can communicate basically. the room is big, we booked 1 bedroom and converted sofa into beds, still quite comfortable. full amenities in the kitchen. quite nice environment and walk about 10 minutes to the city center. not bad too.

1)staff and reception were hostile with us 2)the room was not cleaned for the days which we stayed. 3)the room had no internet and it was guaranteed during the our booking from the agoda.com 4)after 00.00 was difficult the access in the hotel as the reception asleep and do not open the front door of the hotel. (we had 20 min outside of the hotel at -10 degrees, waiting for reception open the door ...) 5)unacceptable behavior from the cleaning lady of the hotel as we scolded us the last day, why not clean the room which we stayed!

Lovely old hotel, just a short walk to downtown and in an area of classical buildings. Big rooms with the old architecture preserved. Parking onsite (5 eur/day). Friendly and helpful staff. Ample breakfast. Would stay here again

The location is really really good. In the middle of the town. The owners, they rented us the whole apartment, which the rooms were well decorated, clean, and beautiful. The apartment comes with a washer, a kitchen, basically everything. The owners were really nice, even though they don’t speak english very well. The only problem was the water heater didn’t work very well. It worked only for a short while, then stopped. So we had to take a cold shower instead. All in all, i’d recommend this place though.

Settled in another building 300 meters from the main. Dirty room with traces of blood, snot on the walls and furniture. Narrow bed. stay away from this hotel.
