Lower Saxony hotels & places to stay

Friendly, efficient staff greeted us as we checked in . The room was modern with a comfy bed. Also, there were usb charging points and a great telly. We only had one pillow and one towel which seemed odd. They provided the missing items quickly. The hotel is situated in local area, close to the underground station and a ‘short hop’ therefore, into the town centre. A couple of decent places to get local beer and German food close by. The hotel is probably more three than four star. The breakfast was just okay. The bar didn’t open until 6:00 pm. Overall though good value and the staff do a great job

It's located close to the central train station and grocery stores, but not too busy or loud at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the facilities and rooms are not like other 4-star hotels that I've experienced. The common area and restaurant look okay, but the rooms are dated. I stayed in an Economy Single room, which is just large enough for a bed and a desk. Travellers with more than one luggage will have difficulty keeping their items out of the way. For me, I had a 40L backpack, which I was able to stow away in the closet, with my items on the shelf above it. There was no air conditioning, fridge or safe in the room. The bathroom was in poor condition. Again, the size is quite small, just enough for a person to stand and take a step forward so that the door can be closed. There doesn't seem to be a fan, so it can get steamy. The tap and drain of the sink had a bit of rust, and the shower door always got stuck as I tried to slide it open.

The people at Wyndham Atrium Hannover are really service oriented. I'd like to give special thanks to Ms.. Bonneti for her service dedication and attention to details of the guests preferences everyday at breakfast. And also Mr. Medhat on the Reception.

I had booked this hotel at the last minute for a agriculture trade show. It had what we needed; wifi, parking, breakfast. The price was right at that time. I would consider checking out other places in Hannover, but again, had limited time.

For a bussines hotel it is very expensive. An additional drawback is the rediculesly low speed of the internet in the hotel. Even the payed one is still ca. 1.2 Mb/sec. They don't have a kettle in the rooms so if you want to have some tea or coffee it will cost you dearly. As for the location it is ca. 2km from the center of town. public transportation is cheap, but a bus arrives only every 30 min. A taxi to the center/university will cost 11-13 Euros

Everything was fine, food, staff and location was close to the city center. Just the train could be heard slightly until midnight. I would come again. Great hotel.

Very pleasant hotel located close to the business I was visiting. I realize that most hotels in Germany do not have air conditioning. Nor have they ever needed it in the past. Nevertheless, times appear to be changing with global warming: it was extremely hot in the room even during the night. The staff was proactive in providing a fan for the room, and window / design in Germany allow the most possible air circulation. Recommendation: if you arrive on a hot day, be sure to get a room facing north. north east.

Except from the facts that the reception charged me for my room which I had already prepaid through Agoda I was very satisfied with my stay in Wolfsburg for 3 nights. The staff is very service minded end speak English surprisingly well. The parking basement is right next to the hotel entrance and quite cheap - 8 Euro per day, paid in the reception. However being a 4 star hotel there are very few facilities - no fitness center and in the room there was not even a fridge/mini bar, a safety box or a water kettle. The tv set was from another day and age, and the Pay Tv channels - The German Sky Sport and Sky film channels - simply didn't work, the staff told me! That was very disappointing! Nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel was booked during the hannover messe, therefore the price is much higher than before. It is not flexible to add one bed or one person in the room. However, the equippment and the facilities are satisfying.

This Hotel is located in the Heart of Braunschweig. Easy acces to the train station and aswell as shopping area. Location is just more than perfect & room are quite big enough. Staff perfomance is really great. The only thing is its quite expensive but looking at the comfort and location its fine. The lift was quite slow it was disappointing and you have pay for the internet. Other than that it was great.

First time in Germany for business trip and the hotel is great, room is clean and nice... breakfast is great... :) However, a male staff at the hotel is not that friendly when I asked for help to go to the City area by train as I'm not familiar with the German names... He wasn't very friendly when responding.... Also, he wasn't very helpful when I requested for an earlier check in on the day of arrival... I told him that I have a business meeting after lunch and I needed to freshen up myself after a 17 hour flight... :(

Our family is very satisfied with the stay at this hotel. Firstly, connecting twins rooms were available upon request so that we were able to take care of two boys. Secondly, the rooms were clean and a hot pot was provided for making tea and coffee. Thirdly, free parking was available. Last but not least, the breakfast was excellent.

i have stayed in this hotel in papenburg city in north of germany and found this hotel was highly recommended by agoda, therefore i decided to book park inn hotel. first impression when checked in, staff at reception was very helpful as first time in papenburg. they guided me how to travel to my customer premise and possibilities to take train back to dusseldorf with detailed map. i was so impressive. moreover, when i checked in the room i found room quality was beyond my expectation in this small city, clean, quiet, bathroom is excellent, flat tv. top of that they provided free internet connection. totally, i would recommend to stay this hotel once you need to travel to papenburg and dorpen, nearby area.

We stayed in the guesthouse, the concept of which seems to have been well thought out. We arrived late, and were made to feel very welcome. There appeared to be 3 separate eating areas..a more formal restaurant, the bar area and then the breakfast room. Breakfast was very comprehensive and thoughtfully arranged.

great location, just 2-3 minutes walking from the train station. amazing breakfast, the quality and the setting are perfect. very friendly to children. we are impressive for the staying and hope have opportunity to stay in other TRTP hotels.

we stayed 3 nights and our room looked fairly "new" and was very clean with a good double-bed. The bathroom was small, well equipped, bright and clean. The room had fridge, tv, water-heater w/tea and coffee, etc. The free WiFi worked fine in our room. Our room was rather small. Anyway we did not spend to much time in the room, mostly for sleeping. If we wanted view we could have booked one with river-view - at an even higher price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As said,- location very good in walking distance to most places downtown. Unfortunately price was too high, therefore value for money did not meet my expectations (due to MeraLuna festival double price would be still acceptable, but triple or higher is a rip- off) Breakfast overpriced too. You can easily find a large breakfast/brunch in the city.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and were pleased to see the newly remodelled restaurant and bar area. The staff were consistently lovely and helpful. The whole property is kept immaculately clean. The rooms hallways are well appointed but in need of updating. The bathrooms in particular feel dated. The bedding is synthetics that aren’t breathable. Makes for a sweaty sleep. The bar shuts at 21:00 on Sundays which is far too early. Accessibility was a problem (we travelled with our infant son and I had a broken foot): There is a lift too all floors but to get to the underground car park one still has to negotiate one flight of extremely steep and narrow steps. The toilets for the restaurant and bar are located in the basement below.

In a snowing night, we finally arrive at Oesnabrucke! When we arrived at the hotel, I really felt relax! It is so clean, nice! The most important is the nice resturant! It is still open at 9:00pm. We could have a good dinner there!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and has good facilities. You can park the car for free and use the tram to get to the city centre.

The room we booked was terrible, but after upgrading the room we got was very nice, clean and modern. The food in the restaurant is decent and it's quiet cozy there. The spa and gym is great and very clean. Good hotel for an overnight stay driving through Germany.

right opposite hauptbanhof & Bus banhof. Well appointed sound proof rooms. Hotel restaurant serves excellent food and its staff are very knowledgable. Hotel enjoys on very occupancy, service is excellent, very new hotel. Stayed 4 times over the last few years and very well maintained.

i have stayed in this hotel last year while on business in nordenham. i found it to be convenient as it is centrally located, only less than 5 minutes away from my supplier's factory (nsw). for this trip, which i stayed longer, i decided to return to this wonderful hotel. again i found the familiar surrounding and faces, especially those at the front desk as well as in the restaurant. i was really glad and happy to be amongst friendly people. i am planning to come to nordenham again in the next couple of weeks, and hotel am markt is where i will be staying again.

When initial walking into room we noticed a rotten smell ( fecal/decaying rodent) left the room to go get dinner thinking it would air out after flushing toilet and running water in drains. Upon return the smell was still there, told reception their response was no there can't be any smell. Asked them to come to room for themselves was initial declined and was offered a cleaning spray. We pressed them to smell for themselves so was done reluctantly and they agreed it wasn't correct and said no other rooms available and we would just have to put up with it. We disagreed asked for a solution ie refund and go else where. But they managed to find a room as we were a single night booking and comped breakfast in the morning. The room was clean no smell bed comfortable and generous size. Good parking available and breakfast was good. Would stay again

This hotel was very good and well above expectations. The hotel is of medium-sized and is in a excellent conditions. Clean and with nice accessories. The rooms are comfortable including tea and coffee making. The beds are great, the bathroom clean. Free wireless internet was fast. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. Breakfast was more than decent and the restaurant was excellent. The hotel gave me a very relaxed feeling and a definite good feeling. A very pleasant surprise and one to come back to.
