Puglia hotels & places to stay

We arrived to Brindisi by ferry so the location was convienent as Nettuno hotel is close to the port (15min walk). Otherwise the location does not offer anyhting but the hotel. If you have a car, it is easy to access and there is big parking area. Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall great. The breakfast was good, but charging for a second cup of coffee seemed cheap.

Beautiful stay. Extremely accommodating of kids. Gorgeous grounds and pool. Could have stayed a few more weeks.

everything was perfect. Starting from kindness of staff, all staff: reception guys, waiters in restaurant and breakfast room, housekeeping personnel. I tried only one dinner and was excellent from any point of view: room, table, service, quantity (too much for me) and quality of food (I am vegetarian and there was nothing on the menu for me but they succeeded in giving me a full meal with a very short notice) and price as well was very low for such a dinner. Breakfast was so rich of any kind of cake, fresh croissants, fresh fruit, fresh yogourth and everything else you can eat in the morning. Everything good and tasty. Room and bathroom was ok, perfectly clean and with plenty of space. I was missing a window with a seaview (not foreseen in single rooms) but I could enjoy a very wide seaview from the 1st floor lounge where I spend a few hours working at my PC sitting on one of those big round tables. The only shadow could be perhaps the location, if one wish to be in-town, see people, walk around the hotel etc but if one wish relax, peace, silence this is the right place (and shops, bar and restaurants can be reached in 5 min by a car)

We had a one night stay here during our holiday. The location was right on the beach, our room (102) was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was sufficient and came with a great view. Only reccomendation would be to either allow for earlier check in or a later check out - having access to the room from only 16:00-10:00 made our stay feel a little rushed. That being said we will definitely here on our next visit to the area.

We have been to Monopoli Many times before but this is the Thursday at the Bellavista. The room was fantastic with a indoor pool and circular bed which made it a very unique experience. The staff were very friendly and breakfast each day was beautifully prepared and the staff very Friendly. The one addition that would help to make this day even better would have been coffee making facilities in the room for the early morning coffee. We will definitely be recommending this room to our friends

This is a very pleasant, clean, comfortable and modern establishment, ideally situated in the centro storico, only a 3 minute walk to the beautful Duomo. It's run by two friendly guys. My room on the first floor was lovely, spacious and quiet, with aircon, TV, a bar fridge, and ensuite. perhaps the only drawback is that the way up to the rooms is via a very narrow and steep staircase, which would have made carrying my suitcase up to my room a bit of a nightmare, had one of the managers not kindly carried it up for me. Breakfast is rather wonderful, with a glorious selection of meats, cheeses, rolls, cakes, jams, yoghurt and fruit, with coffee served to order. The managers speak passable English, are friendly, and do all they can to make your stay a happy one. Highly recommended!

hotel was easy to find as it is next to the road, they have parking. If You travel without car You should choose other hotel most probably.

Great launch pad to the Puglia region of Italy, easy walk to Bari train station. Staff were beyond friendly and engaging, breakfast was extensive and this hotel felt like a little sanctuary away from the town and also very secure with front door always locked and reception staff always on hand.

The hotel has a little bit far from the city centre, but has a good (free) parking facility. The service is good. The room was clean.The breakfast is perfect. The pool is perfect, the wellness part of the hotel is not open for all guests.

An extraordinary place to stay while touring the region of Puglia. Every aspect of the accommodations were exquisite... the rooms, the food (prepared by a top level chef), the products (body wash, towels, linens) and the most incredible hosts whose professionalism and service were beyond compare. If I could, I would rate each category of this review with much more than 5 stars.

Hotel was beautiful with a great location at the top of Ostuni. Staff is outstanding in all respects. Hotel breakfast was fabulous. Many great restaurants within a few minutes walk.. Don't miss it!

We arrived late in the evening around 23:00. When we tried to open the door in our room using the key-card, it didn't work. So we had to go back to the reception area to ask for assistance. The staff tried opening the door with the key-card but also failed. So he instead used a key to finally open the door and handed the key to us. The room felt warm and the centralized AC didn't seem to work no matter how hard we tried to turn it on. By 1am we went to the reception again to ask if something was wrong, and only then that the staff turned on the AC on our room from the reception area. Apart from that, everything was nice. The place is good and it's very close to the Trulli houses which was our main itinerary. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers going to Alberobello.

This place is so wonderful that I want to keep it for myself. Best place on earth. It’s my secret that I do not want to share with others. Find it for yourself and you’ll understand. Do not change a single thing about this place.

I was up in Fasano for a cycling trip with buddies, and a friend of ours recommended this hotel. It is very quiet up there with mostly Spanish and British tourists. The rooms were large and nature-facing and the breakfast was simple but good. I especially like the balcony area that enabled me to hang my cycling clothes after washing them, ensuring they are dry before the next ride and not make the room so wet and humid if I were to hang them in the bathroom. Very old-school style hotel, with excellent facilities and food. Staff were very accommodating as well. Kudos and I will return when I visit Fasano again!

We had such a beautiful stay in the queen room. It had a gorgeous balcony, the room was spacious, neat and tidy. It's so nice to find somewhere new but still with its quintesential Italian charm. The accomodation is perfectly located in old town, on the doorsteps of new town and right close to the grotto to go swimming! You can't go wrong. We would stay here again for sure.

The only hotel that asks to check out at 10am, which is the same time when the breakfast ends. If you want to call breakfast what they serve... if you get there at 9:30am you’re doomed as there is only leftovers!

I enjoyed my stay at this lovely budget hotel that is centrally located in Brindisi. The room was very clean room size was what the doctor ordered for me. Staff attention was very high. The only challenge was that 99% of tv/audio channels are in Italian. I managed to get one or two English series channels. Although CNN and Sky were indicated as available channels on the botique, they in actual fact were not available.

This place is mainly for business persons but I felt comfortable. The facilities are very good and walking distances to local restaurants, town & amenities are easy (apart from the railway station where a transport is required if with luggage. Helpful and friendly staff especially the young Russian guy who runs the pool area during the day.

Bari is a one of my favourite places in Italy. Great weather, food, a vibrant night life and a stunning old town. Its on the coast surrounded by a treasure trove of small towns that are easy to access. Olive Tree has day tours to a number of these places with a great guide for super cheap. The hostel itself is located between the train station and the old town, a 5 minute walk to both. The staff and owner of the hostel are incredibly helpful and friendly. The place is alwayes clean and the free breakfast is perfect. Its also quite small which is good. There is a relaxing terrace as a common area so you can chill. Ask the staff about Rustica a cheap place to eat a range of delicious local food which will blow you away. The price includes 15 varied small dishes a large pizza wine beer drinks desert and an apperative. Couldnt move after that feast. Thanks Olive Tree. Make sure you visit Puglia, Bari and stay at Olive Tree. 10 out of 10 ;-)

This is a wonderful, unique place to stay. It’ s a medieval castle with beautiful gardens, now turned into a hotel. You walk through the castle’s banqueting hall to get to your room! The hosts—Gabriella and Daniella—are awesome. They take the time to tell you about the region and recommend places to visit. They will also make dinner recommendations and book them for you. There are several excellent restaurant options close by. There’s a nice homemade breakfast served on the terrace under the bougainvillea. It’s within easy driving distance of Lecce and Bari, and you can drive all the way down the coast to Leuca.

Perfect location. Very friendly host. The room even though no window was lovely to stay in. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good and made even better by the rooftop terrace. Would happily stay here again.

A beautiful beautiful hotel in a wonderfully converted old building making each room unique. It's a bit confusing - not all rooms connect easily to the restaurant and reception (you go outside and back in again) but this only adds to its charm. Right in the center of the old town which itself is stunning. Staff friendly, breakfast lovely. Sadly we didn't have dinner as the terrace closed due to bad weather. Note if you arrived late at night you may not be allowed to drive up to the hotel (cars banned in old town at certain times) and taxi will stop at bottom of hill and call the hotel. It's only a few mins walk - was mainly confusing due to our lack of Italian so if this happens you will know why!

Staff didnt understand any english or able to tell me where the breakfast was. I had to go to another place and buy instead

Lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Really helped accommodate us and our young son.

The hotel was a wonderful stay, the owner Antonio was very friendly even if i was sleeping late would arrange to have a my breakfast croissant delivered so I did not miss out. The room is very clean and modern, the place is a close to bus and train transportation and just in front of the Bari sparano walk. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
