Royal Holidays Hotel
Great location but dirty surrounding areas”
The hotel is situated in a good location
Poor customer service and stinky bathrooms.”
Its a very untidy and disorganized hotel. complete waste of money- avoid this hotel. they have no co-ordination between their management. drinking water was bitter and yellow (chlorinated) in color. we will never go there.
We got sick”
The staff were friendly and rooms with air con were confortable. But we order dinner and we got sick the whole night with fever and diarrea. so avoid that if the day after you have a flight to catch!!! Internet is free of charge and available on all floors.
Royal Holidays : For Backpackers”
This is one of the two worst hotels that I've been to (the other was a run-down hotel in southern Philippines in 1991). Amenities are basic: an oversize bed with smelly pillows and a rather musty blanket, cabinet with creaking doors for hanging clothes, and a television that may or may not work. I was given a room at the ground floor, right next to the lobby. The walls are so thin I could hear the conversation in the adjacent room, not to mention the discussions going on in the lobby. I was unable to sleep that night, not only because of the loud conversastions at midnight, but also because the windows were opening right to the street, with curtains not full enough to cover the entirety (they were Scotch-taped precariously onto the window sills). The receptionist on morning duty was rude. I requested for a piece of stationery, and he responded with arrogance, telling me to wait for five minutes. I complained to the hotel's marketing officer, who was much more congenial and offered to move me into another room (which I declined as the first night was already a nightmare). I booked the hotel because online reviews had made this place look so appealing. I immediately checked out the following morning and booked myself elsewhere. This hotel is geared for backpackers who are comfortable with discounted tariffs and do not mind the uncomfortable amenities.
I would never recommend this hotel to any one. Hotel owners and management were trying to dupe all clients staying at the hotel. There are numerous hidden, invisible charges which show up in the final bill. There are way better and cost efficient hotels in the vicinity. Overall this place stinks and hotel service sucks and I would never recommend it.
Good, nice and clean hotel”
I arrived late night at the hotel and they were very helpful with getting me checked in quickly and prepared dinner. Overall, it's nice and clean, although not the 5-star style - well you only pay for 3-star anyway. So, it's really value for money deal. Close to food, metro, shopping - there's a McD closeby in case you're tired of the curry.
Nice, clean, good location for short trip”
I was on a budget trip to Delhi when I stayed at this hotel. Since I was traveling during days and go back to hotel to sleep at night, overall the facilities are nice. I like the location a lot, since it's very near to market, though noises from adjacent traffic can not be avoided. The services was also nice. You can take a walk around hotel area at evening and find lots of good place to eat or bargain goods.
Great Value for Money”
