"The property does not offer much, swimming pool is ok and breakfast simple but efficient. But for exploring and moving around Santa Fe, it is excellent. It is also walking distance from Meow Wolf show which I highly recommend to anyone visiting Santa Fe. Otherwise, you will need a car to move around and go to downtown and other places. We stayed 4 nights and did not spend much time in the room, but it was good."

"The Hotel Santa Fe is without a doubt the best value in Santa Fe. And it’s native owned! - Perfectly located a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the Plaza - Close to good restaurants and excellent antique stores - Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet - Staff is exceedingly friendly and frequently go out of their way for you - Lovely bar/restaurant with tasty food and drinks. And hosts frequent music or cultural events - Nice pool. A few things to be aware of: 1) A surprising $19/day resort fee to cover “amenities” such as free parking, Wi-Fi, pool. Given this is not a true resort with resort amenities, I think this is a bit much. Better to include any truly necessary costs inside the room price. 2) No in room safes. 3) Pool has only 3 umbrellas - 2 of which are attached to dining tables. This is especially a problem mid day when the sun is high and you didn’t get there early enough to snag one. But overall - you get more than you pay for. Highly recommend!!!"

"Very good place. I'd opt for the mini suite with balcony around room 405. We had a balcony with views of the mountains, a huge room with leather couch, 2 sinks, a fridge and microwave, and we got 2 bottles of water and 2 granola bars each day! Rooms were decorated in true Santa Fe style. Would be a good walk to the plaza (about 1 1/2 miles) but you can easily drive or the hotel has a shuttle. I would stay again! "

"Sage Inn is a pretty nice motel in a great location, near enough to the Santa Fe Plaza for a pleasant walk (1.3 km), or a cheap UBER (about $5 most of the time). They also have an hourly free shuttle to/from the Plaza. I don't include driving to the Plaza because of the relatively poor parking in the vicinity. Sage Inn's location is also great for Museum hill or other Sante Fe destinations. The rooms are clean, pretty small, nicely decorated. The pool area is quite small, but very pleasant and, having stayed at SI a number of times, have seldom found it crowded. The breakfast at the Sage Inn is nothing to write home about. It is sparse, in a word. Think of it as simple fuel. Plain bagels, bread, muffins, cold and hot cereal, juice, all plain and generic. The coffee is drinkable. The rate at Sage Inn is reasonable, a decent value, but it has risen in the last couple of years. "

"The St Francis in Santa Fe will become my "go to" hotel if I visit this city again. Location is perfect. The opposite of big and touristy. Authentic flavor, rustic, not too big, homey and comfortable, great rate through Agoda. Staff is friendly and knowledgable, the Secreto bar is a local favorite and very inviting, rooms not large but very clean. Informal (my companion would go down to the bar at night in her pajamas for a glass of wine). This was just my cup of tea."

"This lovely old hotel is perfectly located in the heart of historic Santa Fe. You can walk almost everywhere from there, enjoying the relaxed feeling of this enchanted place. Everyone was very helpful and genuinely friendly. It may be important to realize the this is an old property; access may be difficult for some and the rooms are definitely not cookie-cutter. But, if you want to feel the true spirit of Santa Fe, the Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe is an excellent place to stay."

"For an old motel, this place is a wonderful surprise. Nicely appointed rooms and comfy bed. Loved the “La Reina “ and then the Pantry for breakfast. The only real klinker was the front desk staff. I felt like I was a bother and taking time away from them (behind the curtain), rushing through the check-in (there was no one behind me), not listening to me or making me feel welcome. This happened with a woman as well as with a man. Please work on your hospitality service!"

"Santa Fe is very walkable and the Drury is in a great location with some great green space next to it. Dinners in Santa Fe can be expensive for families, with many plates being around the $30 range. Lunch is still expensive $15-ish, but more practical when you can fill up at the end of the day at the Drury happy hour."

"Absolutely lovely! Decor fits the Santa Fe esthetic without looking cheesy. It’s warm and inviting, rich woods with gorgeous tapestries. And we weren’t even to our room yet! Room was a king deluxe. Very spacious, comfortable bed, outlets on the side of end tables for charging devices, bathroom was large and beauriful’ I seriously did not want to leave. So much character! We stayed at the Hilton in Anaheim 2 nights prior and this blew it out of the water. We will be back! "

The staff is very friendly and the made to order breakfast is delicious. They have a free shuttle that will take you many places in town"
