Good choice for late April in Lonely Beaxh”
We had a small bungalow 2nd line from the sea. The room was clean and functional, aircon worked well, fan was a bonus, beds and bedding comfortable enough, bathroom ok. Good water pressure and hot water. End of season so no loud music and no drunken revelers. Good value for money.
Great stay, nice area, surprising ending”
In general a really nice resort. Great area if you want to be fast in the bar area of lonely beach. Clean and nice resort. But at the end they charged us 200thb for a dirty towel from our deposit. 200thb, really? It cost new at macro maybe 50thb. And what do you guys expect a towel can look like after staying here 5 days without a towel change? Not cool!
Amazing sea view rooms - close to bars”
Room is quite spacious enough for 2 people, but i didn’t like the bed as it is too soft and low. the blankets provided are wool and very hot and itchy. the light in the bathroom is a little dim. No soap and shampoo provided. good water pressure with hot water. Friendly staff. No facilities like pool or restaurant, but they have small convenience store inside the resort and they have a massage area viewing the sea. Although massage is not that very good though and i wouldn’t recommend but the massage ladies are very friendly. the resort is close to all bars and restaurants.
Don't even think about this one! ”
The street outside the entrance has too many bars playing super laud and awful music till 5AM every day! I had the most terrible sleep. I stayed 5days and never even once checked my toilet facilities or room clearing, they only give drinking water in the first day which is so mane. Most disappointed experience and would never ever give this one a second thought. Keep away!!!
Ting Tong Has Destroyed Lonely Beach”
Don’t come to any hotel or beach hut in Lonely Beach unless you are an all-night rave party-goer (and I mean sunrise - the loud thumping bass is still going as the rooster crows right now at 6:00 AM). It would also help if you are completely insane and an alcoholic or drug addict. I feel terrible for the local residents and business owners. For one thing, they must think all Westerners are depraved heathens (we’re not, I promise!). For another, they work long days and Ting Tong won’t let anyone within one kilometer get any sleep at all. That lack of concern by the local authorities also makes me wonder how safe it is here. Avoid Lonely Beach!!!
Noisy, not cleaning every day”
I do not recommend for long stay. Few days are ok. But they didn’t clean our room in whole four days. A lot of pubs with loud music nearby. If you like night life, then it’s good cheap stay. If not then rent a motorbike and go to some more quiet place.
It was a very nice and beautiful place, but noisy at night!!! But all the rest is good))
Nice hotel, located in the center which is really good.
This resort is on the stony part of the beach, but it is just a short walk from the sandy part of Lonely Beach. The bungalows are spacious and clean, and so are the bathrooms. The resort can be entered from the main road and from the Lonely Beach village, which makes it really comfortable. The bungalows are really quiet, which is very important if you're staying here on a Friday or a Saturday night, when all the parties are taking place. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.
+ - lovely garden - really nice benches in front of each bungalow - the swings and hammock by the sea and that the wifi reaches there - fast wifi - nice atmosphere with guest being very respectful and greeting when passing - room included towels, soap and toilet paper - comfy mattress - - our room smelled of mold (bathroom is tricky to air hence has accumulated black mold which would love a bleach treatment) - you can hear the music from the dance venues up the street until 4am sometimes - the door to our bathroom wouldn't stay shut so the mosquitoes were able to come in. a mosquito net would have been great
Great location spoiled only by loud drum n bass at night.”
We booked a bungalow with a fan for less then a £100 for 7 nights. After the first night we thought about finding somewhere else to stay...not because the room was awful - it was fine for what it was - but because of the constant thud of loud bass overnight. We asked if we could upgrade to a Seaview bungalow with aircon which the owner was able to do for us. The rooms are larger, in better condition and are shielded more against the noise. You can still hear the bass at night but if you sleep deeply or wear ear plugs you should be fine. Just remember Lonely Beach is not a quiet resort - the Cancun bar is always having a party on the beach...even if no one is going, which they weren't when we there. The locals hate the noise but a lot of the young tourists do too. We think Lonely Beach is going to have to adapt to a changing market soon, or they'll lose business. Overall Seaflower is a very budget friendly and lovely place to stay only slightly spoiled by the loud bass music at night.
no bad but can be better ”
The room was nice and clean with a beautiful sea front view which was amazing but the only downfall was they clean the rooms every 3 days which is ashame for the money your paying should be everyday & that they charge you 20baht for a coffee, it's not much but it should be free for a beautiful place like this.
Helpful staff, nice bungalows”
Variations of bungalows, cheaper ones with fan and more expensive ones with ac. It’s a few minutes walk to the beach.
Great spot ”
Great spot. Do your self a favour and book the ocean front room. Quite ,fantastic view and sunset from balcony
Best location ”
Right next to the bar strip, but still quiet once you're in the resort, it's the ideal place to stay in lonely beach. Would recommend
It’s pretty much what you would expect for the price and the location is superb! ”
I stayed here for 4 nights with my Dad (nearly 70) and my older expat brother. We all had a hut each in a row, not facing the sea but a 30 second walk to it. Not really a beach as such but picturesque and nice hamocks and seats. At first I have to admit I was a little worried, very basic compared to what I’m used to with the Mrs. We had the fan rooms which to be fair did keep you nice and cool. Shower/bathroom was ok, hot water and fairly clean. Don’t expect a fridge or a safe or anything it’s literally just the bed and a few shelves but after one night I felt pretty settled in. Location to beach etc was great but if your a light sleeper you may wake up at 3am to base from the bars down the road but the fan noise kind of drowns it out. Watch out for mosquitoes like anywhere on the island they will bug u but there not bad as I expected. Over all I would recommend but I would never take my partner only because she’s terrified bugs and u will see your fair share if u stay here.
Noisy and unfriendly”
Place was very noisy. Nearest bar playing music whole night (stop 6-7am) very loud. Some of staff was bored their jobs and was unfriendly. Room was clean and ok of that money we paid. There was own minimart and you can rent motorbike on resort wich was nice. If you looking peace and quiet it doesn’t be a best place for you!
Rude staff that roll their eyes if you ask for anything, lots of noise at night from local nightclubs and their dogs barking 24/7. Beds and linen consisted of a plastic waterproof mattress and horrible linen. Also on a rocky beach, so 10 minute walk to get to the sand at least! Ive stayed in Lonely beach a few times and always been happy, but wont go back here again!
Old and falling apart”
It’s in a good position next to the sea,but unfortunately it’s a rock beach where you can’t walk. It’s close to the party street so if you value your sleep and quiet nights don’t stay here. There are mosquitoes and its not meticulously clean. It’s pretty much in a state of disrepair, patched up and needs some money thrown at it,plus some good management.
Enjoyed my stay here”
I booked ac partial sea view room. Room was nice and clean.
