“The Best Premium Stay in Fraser Hill - Just Hold Your Expectations!”
While Wyndham is considered the most premium accommodation in Fraser Hill, it's wise to temper your expectations. Located in Fraser Hill and overlooking the Golf Park, this three-story resort hotel offers a satisfying although, occasionally mixed experience. I booked a standard room through Agoda for RM 230 per night. At 26 square meters, the room was quite spacious. I chose the cheapest option, the "garden view", which was a bit misleading as the view was actually of the forest behind the hotel. If you're willing to pay a little extra, I'd recommend opting for the Golf Park view instead. The bed was comfortable, and the large blanket kept me and my missus warm. However, there's no air conditioning, only a stand fan. The smart TV, a PRISM+ brand, offered a good display but had limited channels, and you need to use your own login for streaming services like Netflix. I brought my own HDMI adapter and connected my iPad Mini, which worked well. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, clocking in at 10–20 Mbps. Netflix streamed fine, but trying to watch local TV3 via the Tonton app resulted in serious lag. There are two car parks: one on the ground floor and another on the third level. I highly recommend you bring your own water bottles, as there is no water dispenser. One night, I was severely dehydrated and had forgotten my water bottles in the car. Unfortunately, the gate to the upper car park was locked at midnight, and the reception desk was closed from 10 p.m. until morning, so I couldn't get any help. I'd advise skipping the breakfast, which costs RM 30 per person. You can find much better options for that price elsewhere in Fraser Hill. The restaurant does, however, have a very nice setting and a lovely view of a small garden. Fraser Hill is a small area, so you won't go wrong with most lodging locations unless you stay at the Pines or Federal Housing, which are rather on the periphery. I walked past through all the main lodging sites and all are equally quiet so no worries. However for being close to the town center, Puncak Inn and Wyndham are your best bets. A nice bonus of staying at Wyndham is its proximity to some great walking trails. My wife and I took on the short, steep Kindersley trail, followed by the Mager and Abu Suradi trails, then walked to the food court before heading back via the Hemmant trail. All in all, we covered a relatively flat 7 km, with the exception of the initial Kindersley trail.

“Excellent Stay at Newly Renovated Wyndham Garden Shahzan Fraser's Hill”
I had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Garden Shahzan Fraser's Hill and was impressed by the complete renovation completed in 2025. The hotel feels fresh Room & Amenities: Our room was well-equipped with all the essentials - fan, hairdryer, safe, and iron. The bathroom was imposing with excellent water pressure and very hot water. I was pleasantly surprised to find power outlets conveniently located near the bed, including ones with USB ports - a rare and thoughtful touch that made charging devices so much easier. The linens and towels were clearly new, and the pillows were comfortable for a good night's sleep. Minor drawback: Some second-floor rooms have balconies that overlook the first-floor roof, which somewhat limits the view. This doesn't significantly impact the overall experience, but is worth noting for those who prioritise scenic views. Location: The hotel's location is fantastic - just a short walk from the main square and various dining options, making it very convenient for exploring Fraser's Hill. Dining: We opted for the Malaysian-style breakfast buffet, which offered good value for money. While the selection wasn't extensive, everything was deliciously prepared and authentic. Outstanding Service: The staff deserves special recognition for being responsive and genuinely friendly. I must particularly commend Fahmi at reception, who went above and beyond when we encountered a booking mix-up (entirely our fault). He patiently helped us resolve the issue by coordinating with Agoda and worked tirelessly to accommodate our room preferences, even though the hotel was fully booked. His professionalism and dedication truly made our stay memorable. Thank you to the entire team for an excellent stay!

“Stay on 9–10 November 2025 Room 221”
My husband and I stayed at your property from 9 to 10 November 2025, and we were assigned Room 221. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would like to express our appreciation for the friendly and helpful service provided by your staff. Every team member we encounteredfrom reception to housekeeping was welcoming and professional, which contributed positively to our experience. We also noticed that the room appears to have undergone some touch-up or improvement work compared to our previous stay. The space felt comfortable, and we were generally satisfied with the room condition. However, I would like to highlight a couple of concerns related to the bathroom that I believe will help improve the stay experience for future guests: Rain Shower Functionality The rain shower was not operating as it should. Instead of the water flowing down gently like a rainfall, it came out forcefully and unevenly, more like a “waterfall effect.” This made showering slightly uncomfortable. I initially wanted to raise the issue during the stay but decided not to since it was only a one-night visit. However, I did inform the Front Office during check-out the next morning in hopes that the maintenance team can inspect and rectify the shower head. Bathroom Cleanliness The bathroom would benefit from deeper cleaning, especially around the silicone edges at the bottom of the glass partition. There were visible dirt stains and some patches of green mould, which affected the overall cleanliness impression. Aside from these issues, everything else during our stay was satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, the room was well-maintained, and we enjoyed the peaceful environment. With a few improvements in the bathroom area, the experience would be even better.

Shaza Inn Hotel Review – King Room with Golf View We booked a King Room with a golf view, with check-in scheduled for 3:00 PM. Unfortunately, due to internal operational delays, we only gained access to our room at 5:30 PM. However, the hotel graciously compensated for the inconvenience with complimentary breakfast for two and a late check-out option, which was a thoughtful gesture. The in-room dining service was prompt and efficient; however, the culinary quality did not quite match the price point and could benefit from enhancement in taste. Breakfast offerings were rather limited and could be expanded to cater to a broader range of preferences. Our room, located on the first floor, offered a modest view, though the pleasant weather somewhat offset the lackluster scenery. On a positive note, the room was impeccably clean, including the bathroom, and tastefully decorated with modern interiors and essential amenities. The highlight of our stay was the courteous and attentive staff, whose professionalism and helpfulness elevated the overall experience.

“Peacful weekend at Fraser's Hill ”
The location of the hotel is at the centre of Fraser's Hill. Many restaurants and nearby attractions not far from the hotel. The view from the hotel was magnificent, facing the nature and the golf course. The room is clean and spacious for a couple. In a place where telco line can be unstable, a wifi service which we can access wifi from our room, was excellent. Would really recommend for those who want to be one with nature at Fraser's Hill.

Have been staying in Wyndham for the past several weekends. The room is clean however because someone forgot to shut the door to the balcony the room was half flooded with water. The housekeeping cleaned up mess quickly. The breakfast is not worth 35RM per person but you have very little choices in Fraser. Recommend you save the money and spend it at smoke house for a good breakfast. Overall one of the best place to stay in Fraser’s hill but the price is slightly on the high side and parking availability is terrible.

“Good Location, Peaceful Stay, but Basic Comfort”
The hotel is just a 2–3 minute walk to the clock tower, making it convenient for sightseeing and taking photos at the main attractions. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, and other restaurants and cheaper food options are also within walking distance. The reception is friendly and welcoming. The place is generally peaceful with plenty of parking and easy access to nearby trails. The room is clean and comes with a rain shower and basic amenities. However, there is no air conditioning — only a fan is provided. The bed is not very comfortable as it is a spring mattress and you can feel the springs when lying down. Overall, it’s a nice and quiet place with a good location, though the price feels a bit high for what is offered.

“Good location ”
Location is the highlight as it is near the clock tower and few restaurants. Since the hotel is newly renovated, the room is clean and comfy, although there was no AC for the queen balcony room type. Bed mattress is abit hard but okay to sleep. Check-in process is fast. During our 2nd night, there was a blackout. It took about 2 hours to get the power back on. The waiting was not so bad, thanks to the cold weather. I would definitely return to this hotel if i ever i want to come back to fraser’s hill.

“Comfortable rooms in an excellent location.”
The room was a decent size and the shower was superb. Great quality of WiFi and helpful staff. Nicely located in the centre of town with a good buffet breakfast when there are enough guests. Would benefit from one or two more vegetarian options on the evening menu, but I could say the same about all the other places in Bukit Fraser too.

“SHORT GET AWAY”
We enjoyed our stay at the newly refurbished Wyndham Garden in Fraser Hill. The staff at the reception was very helpful as she took immediate action by giving additional bed as in the Agoda apps mentioned room for 4 adults but the bed provided was 1 queen and 1 single. We thought there is a sofa bed. The room was very clean and staffs are very helpful. Truly enjoyed and memorable short stay.😊

“Good location and value for money”
Location is the best, nearby the clock tower. We booked one royal suite and 4 rooms for our short weekend family vacay. The suite is clean and spacious. We get to gather and spend time in the suite comfortably during night time. Overall, i would definitely return to this hotel if im coming back here. Cons: the Kitchen is not fully equip with some of the kitchenware such utensil and dish soap.

“Beautiful & Peaceful Location, But Cleanliness Can Improve”
This is an older hotel, and the environment is its biggest highlight. The weather is cool, the surroundings are very quiet, and it’s a lovely, peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature, and have a coffee — especially nice for bird photography. However, room cleanliness and facilities need improvement. There was plastic from a sanitary pad left in the bathroom, and the window rails were very dirty with black debris. The hot water was also unstable — the temperature kept turning hot and cold, and after a few minutes, the water became completely cold, which was uncomfortable in the chilly weather. Overall, the atmosphere is wonderful, but better housekeeping and more reliable hot water would make the stay much more pleasant.

Cool and calm getaway to this place, Fraser Hill -the little England in Malaysia. Location i like, this is my third trip to FH. But the trip from KKB to FH so scary. Cleanliness, staff and facilites all good. I'd like to suggest more menu for breakfast. Must have Nasi Lemak and Teh tarik (the Malaysian bf). Additional English bf with pastries so awesome. “Review hotel wyndham garden ”
The service at Wyndham Garden Hotel was very good, and I had booked two rooms. The rooms were comfortable, but there were a few issues with hygiene. The bathroom floor was slippery and not very clean, and the room itself could have been cleaner as well. Additionally, I noticed some insects in the bed. In conclusion, the stay was pleasant overall, but the hotel could improve the cleanliness and hygiene of the rooms. Thank you.

“1 Night Staycation”
Overall, it was a lovely stay. The surroundings were peaceful, the view was beautiful, and the environment was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Facilities were adequate and the place was clean. The only downside was the room being quite warm during the day, especially since no fan was provided. While Fraser’s Hill is generally cool, a fan would help a lot during hotter afternoons. Still, a great place to unwind. Just a small improvement needed for better ventilation in the rooms.

“Everything was excellent ”
Stayed for 1 night in a room for 3 adults with golf view. Staffs was polite and friendly. We break our fast at the Puteri Teja Cafe, food was nice and the prices are acceptable. There an elevator which suits elderly. Or you can park at the back of the of the building which access straight to level 3. I have no complaints and we are very happy with our stay. Will definitely repeat to stay here when we visit Fraser's Hill soon.

“A Heartfelt Homecoming: Balcony Views & Thoughtful Touches”
I had a wonderful stay at Shahzan—coming back after so many years truly felt like returning home. My dad used to work here, and this was my second home 20 years ago, so it was extra special to be back. The team made my stay memorable with a complimentary room upgrade and a beautiful surprise room decoration setup, just as I requested. The newly renovated room was perfect, and I finally got the balcony view I’d been hoping for. This made the experience even more special. Honestly, one night just wasn’t enough! Can't wait to be back again. My only feedback is that the water heater turned cold after about 20 minutes, and breakfast could be improved a bit (Wyndham chain can do better here). I also hope the price will remain affordable and not hike up, so everyone can continue to enjoy travelling and staying here. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Thank you for making me feel at home again!

“Great place”
The room is spacious, with adequate and functional amenities. On standing fan provided, could be better if ceiling fan equipped for better experience. The bed and pillow are exceptional, the toilet clean with adequate water pressure. However with the price range, it could be better. All in all, the surrounding is great

“A very comfortable stay at a hotel conveniently located near the Fraser’s Hill clock tower. I was lucky to get a room with a stunning view overlooking the golf course. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, making the experience even more pleasant.”

“okay place ”
some staff was friendly some was not . i got the room on 4th floor . tv okay bathroom clean hot water function well. very good view. the haze view was amaizing . bed n pillow was not comfortable. it quite old .but the linen was clean. the carpet is super old. it is hard to step on . dusty make my nose itchy . room dont have aircond and fan. cold at night but not on the afternoon. u can request a standfan from the reception. balcony dirty hotel food - pasta was good. burger using ramlee patty (pricey). Breakfast was okay. nasi lemak was not cook properly . the hotel location - not very near to the clock tower but near to taman lady guillemard overall i think the price was slightly expensive coz the place was not maintain well. like i said . the place is just an okay place,

“Great getaway from city”
Thumbs up to the newly renovated rooms under the new management which are neat, clean, and comfortable. However, the breakfast was disappointing — it wasn’t worth the price paid, as the food was served cold and offered limited variety compared to previous visits. Overall is a great stay.

“Mixed experience”
Booked two rooms – golf view and garden view. Convenient location, but service was quite disappointing. One room wasn’t ready until 4pm, late check-out wasn’t offered proactively, and staff were hesitant before agreeing. The second room didn’t feel properly cleaned, and my parents even doubted if the sheets were changed. The golf view room was comfortable, with a nice view, air-cond, hot/cold water tap, and a shower that heated up quickly. The garden view room had nothing much to see, only came with a stand fan, and its shower took longer to heat up. I also witnessed staff making unkind remarks about a foreign guest in a language he didn’t understand, which was unprofessional.

“Comfortable and Calm”
Recommended for families with small children who enjoy tranquility to stay here. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly. When there is an issue with the room, the staff quickly attends to it and changes the room. Breakfast is okay; on the 1st day there was roti canai, rice porridge, soto, cereal, and bread. On the 2nd day, there was nasi lemak, mee bandung, rice porridge, and bread, cereal. The location is very strategic - just a short walk to the clock tower and eateries. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. In the evening, there is steamboat or grilled dinner. You can choose one for RM50 per person. Thank you for the nice and warm place. We will definitely come again!

“Very poor service, 3.5 hours later check-in”
They could not handle the crowd for the long weekend and although check in time is stated as 3pm which is already late, they said they only have 4 cleaners and they would call us once the room is ready. We came again around 430pm and they said still not ready. We went out and about and the hotel never called us. Around 630pm when we went to check, only then the receptionist told us that the room is ready. Totally unacceptable. Previously when I stayed and it was Shahzan Inn, the management was poor, and I can understand, but now being rebranded and sitting within the Wyndham chain of hotels, yet it operates with such inefficiency. Even when they can see I am waiting/queuing to check out, there is not sense of urgency for them to assist. Very slow pace of doing work, typical east coast Malay-run setup whereby everything is slow, relaxed and no sense of urgency with tidak-apa attitude. Acceptable if it's an independent hotel, not a hotel under a Wyndham group, whereby we expect a certain level of standard in its service. The Malay lady receptionist (not wearing tudung and looks like orang Asli) was very rude and not courteous when we were trying to check in. She showed her irritation when we asked nicely how come check-in so delayed. They should have anticipated the full house and obtained more cleaners for that weekend and not blame it on occupants who checked out late.

“scenery garden view”
The garden view is beautiful throughout the day, with relaxing and pleasant scenery that can be enjoyed at any time. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not acceptable. There was mold in every corner, and it appeared that it had not been properly cleaned for more than two weeks. Please arrange for deep cleaning using bleach or a proper mold remover at least once every weeks to maintain proper hygiene standards.

“Toilet smelt bad, and staff didn't do anything”
For the price (RM280) I don't think I set high expectations. The weekend we came was for a cycling competition, so understand they were packed (and our request to extend for late check out was denied, even for money). But the first thing we noticed when we got in was the smell of the toilets- like loads of people had pissed in the sink or shower and no one had cleaned the place down. There was also alot of mildew in the showers - hardly hygienic. Quite sadly for us as well, we got in late at night and needed to settle in for bed and there wasn't enough hot water for our showers (which meant freezing Frasers hill mountain water) even though we left the heater on for 15mins before going in. Complained to reception the next morning, and asked whether at least someone could try and clean the shower before we got back for a shower after the race. The receptionist took the room number and... Did nothing. Honestly the issue is a Frasers Hill issue. All places are damp and not so well kept. But this is one of very few commercial places available to stay. It's quite sad as it has the potential to be so much better.

“6/10 for the stay ”
Room should have equipped with fans for circulation purpose, the temperature was cold but we sweat while sleeping because of poor air circulation. Bathroom was dusty/sandy and had stains on the floor, looks like no proper cleaning is done before check-ins. Towels had yellowish stains... While we appreciate the cold mini fridge and smart TV, but it could be better if the insect screen netting at the glass window has a lock function, because as we left the glass window open (the net was closed) for air circulation and went out for an hour for breakfast, we realised the screen netting was OPENED and monkeys came in and took away the coffee creamer and sugar left on the table 😅 quite speechless... Luckily we kept all our loose items in the drawer before we left the room. Hotel should warn guest about the monkeys, or at least add a lock to the screen netting. Hope the management will fix the water heater in room 222 as soon as possible.

Nice location, clean room, parking is limited and hopefully the road in front of the hotel main entrance can be widened or convert to one way instead of two ways which makes traffic flow a bit difficult if too many cars parked there.

Just I hope the houskeeping team can do better when cleaning the bathroom. The other part is sparkling clean except the mosaic-wall in the shower area. I can see soap stain like long ago they not scrub up the wall area. Could be better, i hope in my next stay !

Cleanliness is acceptable, no mold inside the room despite heavy fog every day. No air cond but fan is provided. However the room is cold enough that we didn't use the fan either. We were annoyed by two issues. First is unstable water temperature of the shower, maybe because people from other room was showering at the same time. Then we faced clogged toilet, luckily we were offered to change room after reflected the issue to front desk.

“Was it worth it?”
We checked in from 14-16th Sep 2024, and we think we got lucky as the hotel & rooms was newly renovated and was officiated early Sep 2024. But - some rooms are still being renovated, thus still got very minor renovating sound going on. Our room located at the end of the hall way, which is quite easy for us to access the car park. By the way, car park is limited. First arrival we were greeted with freshly unpleasant renovated kind of smell, which comes from the bathroom - it came from under the sink. Room is clean yet can feel on our foot bits of dust and chipped cement on the floor around the bed. Yet, the view is beautiful during the morning time, especially on the 2nd day when the clouds move through the golf course due to early morning rain. The bed & pillows are very comfortable. Hot shower is superb. Had a walkin local style breakfast buffet (RM 30 + RM 3 for tax per head) which is OK. Made us full for the day though. All in all, very cosy & comfortable room to stay in, if minus the renovation things.

“Great Stay, Beautiful Location”
We had a great stay at this property in Fraser's Hill. The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a peaceful retreat. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The facilities were well-maintained and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. We also enjoyed spending time in the lovely garden. The property provided convenient transport options, making it easy for us to explore the area. Pros: It's one of the better accoms in the area, room is clean and spacious, had some parking lots for guests, location is excellent Cons: Shower head cannot be attached to wall (had to hold the nozzle throughout shower), renovation works were ongoing in common areas and supplies weren't stored (potential hazard for young children), parking lots are very limited for number of rooms available. Overall: Would stay again, hopefully they get renovations done by then

“A nice getaway”
Pros: -there is a lift to go up -clean room -lovely room, spacious -android tv -walking distance to clock tower area -amazing friendly staff Cons: - whole level still under renovation but doesnt disturb us though. -keep sliding wire mesh close because there is monkeys. - exhaust fan in toilet doesnt work and toilet door knob a little loose. -food at resto needs a lot of improvement. Its not up to mark.

No complaints on the hotel facilities expect there is a renovation work going on. We didn't hear any sounds during night, so we had a great sleep. Beautiful view from the balcony and clean room + toilet. Best hotel in fraser hill.
