“Would come back”
We checked in the day before Father’s Day and Sheraton had all kinds of activities and treats for kids and the families. At the Mezzanine where we checked-in, they were giving out free cotton candies, free popcorn, free juice, free coffee, free ice cream, and art classes for the kids! It was like a mini carnival and my daughter had fun! When I asked if it was a usual thing or just because it’s Father’s Day the day after, I was informed it wa the latter. The room - the room I booked via Agoda was not available at that time, from a 2 Queen Guest Bedroom it was switched to a 1 King Guest Bedroom with an additional bed (free of charge). I initially pushed back and asked when the room we chose would be available however they could not provide an exact time. We checked in around past 4PM, we were accommodated around 5PM. My daughter could no longer wait and plunge at the pool so I said yes to the room changes. The room was nice and had the view of the airport. The room was a bit crammed when the extra bed was added. Not all the outlets were working and they apologized for it. The bathroom door got stuck while I was in the bathroom, luckily my husband was in the room and was able to call the front desk for help. After 15 mins one of their staff went up the room and helped unlock the door. He mentioned that it usually happens and adviced us not to fully close the bathroom door to avoid it from happening again. It could have been better if there was a phone in the bathroom. If my husband wasn’t there in the room, I had no one to ask for help. My daughter had fun playing at the Kid’s Playroom and at the pool. The staff were exceptional and friendly! They assisted my daughter and talked with her (chatty child) and treated her like she was an adult. It was nice and she was happy. The hotel and staff were very child friendly and the hallways do not smell like cigarette smoke unlike in Okura. Aside from that, the staff were well informed, they mentioned that during weekends there were activities for kids not limited to the Kid’s Club ir playroom but within the entire hotel in general. Personally, I think it’s great, it gives the children a huge time away from gadgets. They also offer free child sitting in case parents or the adults would like to go to the casino. Location wise, it is very convinient if you have flights and want to avoid the crazy traffic since it is located in front of NAIA Terminal 3. This was convinient for us as we were traveling to Australia the day after. For cleanliness, the room was clean and the hallways doesn’t smell like cigarettes unlike in Okura which is a big factor on my end as we had a child traveling with us. Facilities were good, we were able to urilize the pool, the playroom, the spa was nice too! They were giving out unlimited Summit bottled waters and the dental kit was with Colgate unlike in Okura and Hilton wherein the water were in sealed glass bottled waters and the dental kit were the generic toothpaste. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner had an oak wood smell and it was nice. The Lounge food and drink options were alright. The price was decent for a hotel. The chicharon bulaklak did have a little after taste. S Kitchen was plesantly good. The buffet breakfast options were the typical ones. A lot lighter than Okura but not as good as Hilton’s. We availed it separately from the room. Overall, we would come back especially as we had a good time staying at the hotel and the staff were amazing and attentive. If you are travelling with kids, this hotel is good and ai personally recommend it.
