the concierge staff for checking in was polite and decent. but the staff for checking out however, were awful. i informed them a day prior to my departure that i needed a cab. on the morning of my departure to the airport, they informed me that they didn't book a cab for me. the staff tried to do a street hail, failed, and handed me 2 umbrellas, telling me that i had to haul my luggage across more than a mile in the rain in order to catch the airport limousine. room was clean, but small. upon entry, if you were to open your luggage, you couldn't walk around. but considering the location, space is a premium.
Everything good ”
Good locations, many restaurants nearby hotel as well as convenient shops and also not that far from train station but the sound insulation of my room not good enough because I could hear the next room snore and their conversation very clearly
The room is very dusty.”
The ventilation system was very dirty. My mobile phone was covered in dust every morning when I woke up. Although there was an air purifier with humidifier in the room but when I filled the water tank, I found out the tank was covered with mould! Not recommend for people who have allergies.
Great location but small room”
Hotel is situated in a great location with walking distance to the Shinjuku Station, shopping and food. The room is however very small with no room to lay out luggage. There are no complementary bottled drinks, and no boiler in the room. Vending machines selling drinks and tibits are available at the side of the lift lobby. Hot water can also be fetched at the same place.
nice hotel accessible to all ”
very nice hotel , perfect for family with kids , nice staff at with tourist desk attending all your needs however if you will book this try to pay using credit card don't pay on at hotel since conversion is to high .
excellent convenient, near to JR station and many restaurants nearby
Small, old and smelly toilet”
The lobby seems to have newly renovated. The rooms however is an entire opposite. So old and small. The toilet as what other travellers posted on the reviews, are smelly that I didn’t even want to open the door.
Thank you very much for choosing Shinjuku Prince Hotel for your stay. We are also very grateful for your honest feedback. We are very sorry to hear about the unpleasant odor in the restroom which has caused you discomfort. Your feedback will be shared with the relevant personnel so that we can provide better services in the future. Regarding the size of the room, we offer larger rooms as well. We would appreciate it if you could check our website before placing your reservation. We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel again. Shinjyuku Prince Hotel
Beyond what i expected.”
Good deal for us, location wise, staff were very accommodating even we already checked out and moved to other hotel(i could no longer get rooms due to fully booked). Thumps up for this hotel, sure that to our next travel in 2019 we will still use this hotel.
Very Convenient Location”
When you're the type that books package tours, this is the perfect place to stay since most of these tours have this hotel as their meeting place. Also at the heart of the city and near Shinjuku Station so really a good place to stay. Compared to the second hotel we transferred to (since hotel is fully-booked we needed to transfer on our last day), this hote is much much better than the nearby APA Hotel. Each floor has vending machine to buy your fave snacks and of course beers! Hot water is also free near the vending machine.
Location is ok. Quite a distance from the train stations we need to get to but restaurants and convenience stores are nearby. Everything you need is just a short walk - no need to travel far. Service by staff is excellent. We would always get assistance in getting to where we need to. Staff would go the extra mile for their service. Great pick up point for tours as well. Rooms a bit small but expected for Tokyo hotels. Shower water pressure is excellent.
Hotel is walking distance to everything. Staffs were very helpful. My son was sick on our last day of staying. They are very caring and help us with reading the medication label and calling the hospital.
Excellent location with lots of good shops and shopping areas within walking distance.”
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, and clean room.
Great location. Shopping at the hotel itself.”
Easy to explore anywhere at Shinjuku
Nice hotel that is centrally located. Close the the red light district. I stayed in a twin room which was really small (not unusual for Japan).
Staff are friendly. They clean the rooms everyday. Near train station.
If you are into night live, this hotel is one that you can highly consider. Robot restaurant is just beside the hotel across the road. 7-11, family mart, lawson, countless restaurants and entertainment are just minutes from hotel. If you are coming directly from Haneda Airport, buy the airport limosine ticket. They will drop you at Shinjuku Station West exit. Open up google map and follow the navigation. You will reach the hotel within 10 mins. If you are planning to travel to disneyland or disneysea, remember to check out the transportation package from kkday as pickup location is directly at hotel. Pick the 1 way transport to Disney wil do. DO NOT EVER pick the return trip as it is not worth it. You have to leave during Grand Finale and will miss the fireworks. We miss the return trip as we lost our way out. Pick up instructions are not up to date. No calls from them, totally nothing even though we are still 1 minute early from departure time.
Helpful staff and great services”
Staff are excellent with good services. Very helpful especially Nishimori-San, he explain all the facilities in detailas, polite and initaitive assist. Great location, very convenience to shoppoing and dinning area.
Experience beyond expectations ”
The room is smelly especially the toilet! Have to get boiling water outside the room which is quite a distance! The room is not clean with stains on bath tub and dirty drapers and curtains! Your survey forced me to put star ⭐️, which is not my recommendation! 😞
one of the best location in Shinjuku. Easy to go to places as it is quite easy to catch train, buses, taxis. So many restuarants ,shopping centers, groceries, fast foods etc. nearby for just a few walks. I highly recommend that this Hotel is one of the best in Shinjuku.
Great location, good service, very convenience”
The room is small but enough for our purpose. The bed feet is tall enough so can put laggages udner it then can have big space - good design. Very good location and very convenience for travelling no matter locally or domestically. Aroung the hotel there are a lot of shops and restaurants, too many choices.
