This beautiful resort in the quiet town of Sukhothai is ideal for those wanting to see and feel the more secluded parts of Thailand. Located in the heart of Thailand, in between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, the Sukhothai Heritage Resort is placed in a rural setting surrounded by natural beauty. Cycling and sightseeing are favorite past times here, as well as visiting temple ruins that date back to the 13th century. Well appointed, luxurious rooms are decked out with a multitude of amenities including Wi-Fi internet access. Two diverse restaurants are on-site to choose from, as well as two gorgeous swimming pools to relax in. Having a drink at the hotels Vanda Bar is always a great way to meet other guests and trade traveling stories. Genuine Thai culture and modern luxuries come together at the wonderful Sukhothai Heritage Resort.

Beautiful resort, friendly staff ”
Incredibly beautiful resort and remarkably friendly staff, our stay was wonderful. The only drawback was the distance from the town of Sukhothai (although if you want to be close to the airport, this place is it.)
A get-away-from-it-all place”
Have stayed at this hotel at least once a year over the past ten years. It has been well maintained. Lovely rural location and surroundings. Hotel rooms are spacious and the staff is really nice. Restaurant used to be better but us stil quite good.
Nice and relax place to stay.”
The hotel is right within the airport area. It is not far from the heritage sight but you still need a private vehicle to go there. The hotel itself is peaceful and relaxing. I wouldn't mind spending the whole day here. We had diner at the hotel and the food is good and tasty. Breakfast buffet was also great with some range of Thai and western menu.
High cost food and drinks”
Syayed 3 nights. Rooms luxurious and cheap. However food and drink very expensive. EG. Small beer 40 to 60 Baht elsewhere was 120 Baht at this hotel. Location near airport means tgere are not many alternative places to eat nearby.
Love this Hotel!”
I have stayed at this lovely hotel located right at the Sukhothai Airport 6 times now over the 10 years it has been open. Does not disappoint. Transportation from the airport, staff they can’t do enough for you, comfortable rooms at reasonable prices for the 4 star Thai experience! The breakfast buffet is good and the restaurant is also good for dinner. We much prefer this hotel to any other in Sukhothai. We also stayed at the three were lying next to the historic Park. It’s location is great and the hotel is good too. The super tight heritage resort at the airport it’s a great place to stay for an extra day for quiet to rest and relax. We recommend the deluxe poolside room and as it is larger than the superior rooms and has a bathtub and rain shower.
Sukhothai Heritage Resort Never Dusappints!”
I’ve stayed here a half dozen times over 10 years. This hotel is a few blocks from the airport and the cool sightseeing near the airport. There’s an orchid farm, a zoo, an organic farm, 3 ceramic museums and a new Natural History Museum ( opening soon) there. The hotel has a full restaurant, great breakfast, 2 beautiful pools, lovely staff. You won’t be disappointed.
Comfy room and great staff!”
The room and swimming pool was clean and very well prepared but the public space has a lot of birds and also bird nests. Car park is too dark, please turn on the light for good security and safe for guest.
Resort is located in the compound of sukhotai airport. Dont let it turn you off as it is so quiet and peaceful. Our stay was made more enjoyable as within the grounds there was a zoo with giraffes fowls swans etc and a soon to be open museum featuring dinasours and petrified wood. We also enjoyed the little organic farm and restaurant nearby and would recommend it to anyone visiting sukhothai.
i only wish i could stay longer!!”
My only regret with Sukhothai Heritage Resort is that we weren't able to stay longer & enjoy the place more. The resort by itself is beautiful - lovely traditional architecture, complete with a serene pond in the middle of the outdoor courtyard once you pass through the lobby / check-in area. It is also clear that management took great care to think of their guests' every need: not only did they have a lovely swimming pool (pretty much a standard nowadays), they also had a small library and game room where some books & board games were available for guest use. The rooms were HUGE and beautifully decorated. There was even a small nook in one corner, like a window seat, which was perfect for curling up at night with a good book. The bathrooms were also quite spacious, with a shower and a separate tub and more than adequate counter space & closet space. The beds were to die for, I had such a good sleep during the 1 night we stayed here. The only downside was dinner on our first night - we went downstairs to have dinner at the in-house restaurant, only to be told they were fully booked. We ended up going back to our room & ordering room service instead. I'm not sure if this is a regular occurrence or only because it was the 30th of December and the hotel was probably booked to the gills with guests...
The Sukhothai Heritage Resort Does Not Disappoint”
I have stayed here before for relaxation and convenience on the way to Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary near Hat Siew. It is most convenience for BLES to pick up here and it is easy to get to/from the Sukhothai Historical Parks here too. The gardens are the upside and downside, as there is much water and always some mosquitoes in the public/dining areas. I like this hotel and will come again!
Fantastic hotel for unforgettable stay”
Perfect. Friendly check in, great room, friendly staff, good food, good working wifi, all in all a fantastic stay. Form the hotel it is easy to access the hertitage areas. The staff can arrange a sightseeing tour.
A nice hotel with peaceful surroundings”
A nice hotel with peaceful surroundings. There are complimentary bicycles for hotel guests to travel around. It is very close to the airport , just about 2 k.m. away. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean.
Royal Palace setting, 5 star quality/2 star price”
We drove down fm Chiang Mai to Bangkok and by the time we arrived it was dark, I had in fact to drive thru some rather strong rain over dark roads to get there but it was truly worth it... what a lovely 5 star hotel and rate we got was simply amazingly, ridiculously cheap. Regretfully we had to leave the next morning thus did not spend the slow time we should have, bicycling thru the local temple sites, nor touring their organic garden, nor spending time in their lovely pools. We will come back!
Great hotel in a rural setting”
After travelling through northern thailand for a month our stay at the Heritage was very welcome. It is a Hotel with the WOW!factor, in a quiet relaxing setting in a rural area of Thailand. A visit to the Organic Farm close by and also a visit to historical parks is not to be missed - you too can ride a buffalo....
The hotel is situated mid way between Sukhothai city and Sri Satchanalia. The surrounding ground is beatiful. There is a zoo ans an organic farm in the premises with free tram to show you around. Very relaxing activity this is. The location is relatively far from the main cities or town so need to arrange for transport to get to other tourist spots. Rooms and bathroom is fabilous. Breakfast could improve a bit and dinner is a little pricey.
Peaceful ellegant hotel”
This would be a very convenient hotel for traveller visiting by airplane as it isnsituated right by the airport. Getting around to other tourist spot require additonal transports as they are at least 20 km away. I particularly liked the hotel room and bath room. They are very spacious and clean. Good for star gazing at night. There is a tram that takes yu around to see the organic farm and the zoo. Best of all this is free of charge.
Lovely hotel, car needed”
the hotel was clean and pleasant. the service was friendly and efficient. the pool was beautiful especially at sunset. you do need a car but the driving is easy. agree with other post about the small local bar nearby, a bit of bug spray needed but great food and good service. breakfast at the hotel was more than adequate with plenty of choice. had one meal there at night which was lovely. enjoyed our stay there and would return if in the area.
Quiet hotel far from historical Sukhothai”
Nice and quiet hotel, very friendly staff with warm welcome. 2 superb swimming pools. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so if you don't have a car you'll have no choice but to have diner at the restaurant which is quite expensive for the quality offered. Free wifi is in the rooms. Average breakfast buffet.
beautiful and quiet hotel”
we stayed 2 nights in a ground floor room. was perfect the swimming pool was just in front of us so very convenient with kids having a nap. 5 mn to the airport but 2 flights a day so it is still quiet. located in between the parcs, about 35 km from the main park.
We stayed here on our way up to Chiang Mai and loved it so much we stayed on the way back too. The rooms are just beautiful and the bathrooms are lovely. The location is out of town - a car really is a must. Food at the hotel is good but a little over priced. The staff are lovely - we would go back again.
