Budget hotel with old world charm”

I liked the decor of the rooms on the 2nd floor. Cleanliness and other facilities are average. Breakfast options are limited but taste is good. I would recommend this hotel to people looking for vintage home style accommodation.

Arrived late at night and was assigned a room that had no water which is room on 2nd floor with steep stairs. Staff not helpful, indifferent and not properly trained. Boutique hotels can be hit or miss!

The room was very well decorated, but the linen was old and stained. Was shocked to unroll a towel to find two large holes staring back at me.

Quite far from airport but near the shopping mall. The room is old not like in the picture (80% similar to the picture) DO NOT stay at Crimson room cause the strong smell from kitchen will come in your room. Overall is OKAY.

Awful”

This is a badly maintained and badly run place. The rooms are dirty and bathrooms require repair. The coffee at breakfast tastes like soap water. I changed from one dirty room to a slightly cleaner room. The washing g area behind the room was operational until 10.30 pm. It was terribly noisy. The staff tried to be helpful but the system wouldn't generate a bill. I had to return to the hotel 6 hours after checkout to collect the bill.

It’s a cute boutique hotel with a cafe”

If you don’t mind laid back attitude and lots of follow up it’s fine to stay here. While the food quality is really good. The speed of service to the follows required for everything is v v v laid back. Housekeeping service and team was good. But the reception and service staff are v unprofessional. U have to keep following up with them.

The Property is exceptionally well designed and the location is central and close to all important places of interest in South Kolkata. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff very polite. The maintenance of the property is not so good. The place needs proper cleaning and upkeep. Otherwise our stay was quite comfortable.

Anglo Indian look and feel but poor service and high price”

since my office is in Hazira I decided to stay here..but was so dissapointed in my stay.They just have 7 rooms and were unable to manage them effeciently.The room I got was a 10 x 10 room with a huge 4 poster bed where one needs to move about only on their sides! the room was so noisy and the sound proofing was pathetic inspite of having 3 window shutters.The next day morning at 6.30 am the taps went dry and no hot water in this cold climate..after a while they fixed the water issue but got a bucket of hot water to bathe.The floor was cracked with big holes you could easily trip and crack your head.The mirror was cracked which was a huge saftey issue and the water on the batroom floor would not drain keeping the floor always wet .Their room service was very poor any anything you had to just wait and wait..the food menu sounded so french with relevant explanation as to what one would expect..the breafast menu was limited to baked beans and bread others they said is not available and the orange juice i orderd was just munite maid right off the bottle and not fresh.I felt quite suffocated and unpleasent to stay in this so called renisance hotch potch of a hotel charging a premium for every thing may be making up for lost Covid ground.Suggest look else where for a more comfortable stay.

It is worth the value ”

I stayed 5 nights. Everything was. good except for the noisy road. As People in India honk without any reason. Metro is 800 m far., a tasty breakfast, good cleaning, and good lights. Well, I recommend this little hotel.
