The hotel booked for my first business trip to Mongolia is about 4 kilometers from the city center square, a bit far, but the street it’s on is quite lively, with restaurants (I recommend a Chinese restaurant called CRUX), small convenience stores, and banks all available. The standard room is comparable to a domestic four-star hotel, and the bath products are quite comprehensive. The breakfast buffet mainly offers Western-style food, with a good variety and quality. The hotel front desk service is very warm; I needed to issue an invoice for the booking, and after a mistake with the first one, they were very cooperative in reissuing it. Kudos! There is a small gym, a sauna (which I have no knowledge about), and a restaurant on the 16th floor. In summary, it is a hotel worth recommending for business trips and tourism!
I was impressed with the service, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of facilities. My bed was super comfy, and my with the blackout curtains and soundproof roof, I was able to sleep extremely well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. I would stay there again without hesitation.
1. Staff at the hotel are very very nice 2. I think my bed was a twin bed that became one queen/king, once I sat there it was so shaky that I was actually scared to move in order not to break it. It was not only terribly shaky but the sound it made was awful, although the mattress was quite good 3. There was so water dispensers on the floor, neither on the first floor available for the guests which is very odd. 4* and above must have water dispensers as I work in hospitality industry. 4. Gym, facilities, breakfast are all good The hotel is not cheap, over 120 S$, I’d expect to have a good bed and water.
This hotel was good, although the location is not so convenient. It is a bit far from the city centre, and in a residential area with not much around. The spa was a bit weird - the 'jacuzzi' was just a pool of cold water with no bubbles, and men sitting around naked. In the sauna, one very overweight man started to play with his anatomy which was disgusting, so I left quickly. The restaurant had a very loud band and the food was not great. But I was only there for one night, and the room was clean and comfortable.
It is very convenient for those visiting for the first time. There are Korean restaurants, a restaurant, and a sauna within the hotel. Check-out is at 2 PM. Right across from the hotel, there are Korean-style Dongdaemun street vendors and karaoke rooms.
It was a 1st time travel to Mongolia for me and my Dad and our stay in this hotel was very pleasant. The Frontdesk Manager Ms. Mogi was very accomodating and looked after us during our stay in the hotel. She shared with us a lot of interesting things about Mongolia. Kudos to Ms. Mogi and her team!
It was an excellent property especially for the value. The buffet breakfast was superb. I loved all the options available for a person like myself from the USA. Ms. Munguu at the front desk speaks excellent English and helped me with taxis and tours. She was outstanding.
I stayed in the executive suite with my companions. The room size is very large compared to other hotels in Ulaanbaatar, and the price is quite affordable. The layout separates the living room and bedroom, and there is one bathroom each in the living room and bedroom. The water pressure was also very good, and the bed was extremely large and comfortable. The furniture is a dark brown color, giving it an old feel, but it is well maintained. There are Korean restaurants, a Korean-style pub, exchange offices, and a CU convenience store nearby, making the location very good. I highly recommend it^^
The breakfast is just decent, and the accommodation is at the level of a Korean motel. The air conditioning is not extremely cool, but it feels sufficiently cool when left on while going out. There are many places selling Korean food right in front of the hotel, and convenience stores of all kinds are scattered around, so there are no inconveniences staying here at all. However, if you stay on a lower floor, the noise from the KTV on the 3rd and 4th floors is serious enough to prevent you from sleeping. I strongly recommend rooms on the 8th floor or higher. Additionally, it's a very good place to witness the trashy behavior of Koreans.
The airport accessibility was good, and the breakfast was well-suited for Koreans. The hot water was plentiful, and soaking in the tub was nice; the room condition was also decent. In the morning, while waiting for the elevator to go to the airport, it was constantly full, so I ended up walking down because of the time for my flight. This is one nice hotel. The room was plenty big and was outfitted with wood furniture and a comfortable bed. The bath was clean and fresh. The entire hotel seemed very well maintained. The front desk staff spoke English well and were very attentive. Taxi service to downtown was inexpensive and prompt. The breakfast buffet was immense and offered cooked to order eggs, many buffet items, fresh fruit and excellent coffee. The Irish Pub cafe on the top floor served the biggest and quite possibly the best beef hamburger I've ever eaten. I would definitely stay at the Grand Hill on another stay in Ulaanbaatar. Excellent.

I stayed at the Grand Hill Hotel Ulaanbaatar for the second time, and the staff service was very good, and the room was very clean, so I recommend it. There is also a restaurant that serves Korean food nearby, and E-Mart is within walking distance. If I have the chance to go to Ulaanbaatar again, I plan to use it.
The room is very cool and the water comes out very well. There were no hygiene issues, and the bed was really good. It was firm, not too soft, and just right. It was somewhat far to walk to the department store and the nearby downtown. I just want to relax comfortably at the hotel! If that's the case, I highly recommend it. It wasn't a good location for shopping.
The facilities are quite advanced and have a sense of luxury. The front desk service is warm and will provide help to the best of their ability. It is also very close to the food street and Gandan Temple, making it a great location. Overall, it provides a very good experience.
This is the accommodation where I stayed on the first and last day of my trip to Mongolia. On the last day, the front desk staff was a bit friendlier. The room was also better. The TV worked well, and Korean broadcasts were available. There was no inconvenience walking to see the streets of Seoul and the state-run department store. It was a bit uncomfortable due to the lack of a luggage rack. It would also be better if the shower curtain was replaced more often.
I arrived at the Grand Hill Hotel around 11:50 AM on October 29 and checked in at the lobby, waiting since check-in was at 2 PM. The front desk told me to check in early, so I went to my room. The facilities were old but relatively clean, although I thought it was very dangerous that there was no drain in the bathroom floor. The breakfast was not a buffet; instead, I had to choose a few options, and the pumpkin porridge and half-boiled bacon and eggs were very inadequate. However, the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, which was really touching. I decided to forget the inconveniences because of that. After checking out, I caught a taxi and was kindly guided. I was really grateful. However, you should never exchange money at the hotel. That's all.
The shower has strong water pressure, while the sink has a relatively weak water pressure. The toilet water comes out a bit yellowish. When I go out and come back in, there’s a bit of a foul smell, which seems to be coming from the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom is a fixed type, but it stops working quickly after a little use. The elevator is close to the room. The Wi-Fi sometimes disconnects, but it seems to work better than at other hotels. There are many Korean restaurants nearby, which is nice.
This is a place I come to every time, and it's already my seventh visit. I've tried other accommodations, but I think this one is the most comfortable. I especially like that the massage in the basement is really good. It's great value for the price, so be sure to give it a try!~~^^

The hotel was spacious and clean, and there was no inconvenience at all during my stay. All the staff were friendly, and when I had trouble hailing a taxi, they readily helped me get one. You have to use a taxi or bus to get to the state-run department store from there.
I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but I was able to get in earlier than expected. You must present the reservation number during the check-in process. It's not the newest facility, but there were no issues with using it, and it was comfortable. The TV in the room I used needs to be checked; it didn't work.
Popular with group tours that come in the evening and leave in the morning. So, restaurant is quite full for breakfast. But hotel staff are competent and used to handling groups. Room is well-appointed and clean. Short walk to several restaurants. Would stay there again if I went back to Ulaanbaatar.

The size of the room, the view of the room, and the quality of the equipment in the room were amazing. I paid attention to the details of every hotel; this is so perfect. The interior design is modern and very charming. And this is one of the best experiences I've ever had; as long as I want to go, yes. They helped me get to the room and check my luggage. The facilities were amazing, really amazing. You are greeted on a first-name basis; it really is like family. Hopefully, we can stay here again in the future.
I stayed in both a suite and a standard room. The suite was spacious and the bed was large, which was comfortable, but the standard room was a bit small since it had a queen-size bed. Other than that, the room was clean and the location was good, with a Korean restaurant and convenience store nearby, and not far from the city center.
I had booked a suite which cost nearly 200 usd a night as it was a celebratory trip but I was disappointed because the ac in the bedroom didn't work, there was no hot water for the shower and the daily water bottle was tiny . considering you are paying so much for the room, one would expect these things as basic things to be covered. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for anything other than a regular room.. If at all
The hotel room is good with a positive and helpful receptionist. The airport pickup service is a bit overpriced while you may self-arrange with a cheaper price and better car on their local app. The spa is a bit ridiculous; no staff can speak English and the jacuzzi doesn't even have a massage function, just a small pool with cold and warm water. I waited for a long time for the body scrub, which I had to ask the staff for since it was actually included in my package. The oil massage was also terrible; the door kept open while I was undressed and I had to ask the therapist to close the door several times. The therapist was also rude, applying strong pressure instead of giving a proper massage. I requested a softer level, but she seemed not to understand my language and responded with a rude attitude and stronger pressure.
Everything I asked was done very promptly: room service, cleaning, locked my room key inside they opened it immediately as soon as I took the lift up
Good hotel for a short stay, the room was clean, staff were great and breakfast wasn't too bad,just one minor thing is that it's not really in the city centre however there are a lot of Korean restaurant near by.

Its a pretty good place. If you want to head to the city though, it can be a bit far - around 5km or so. Cabs also sometimes won't come to this area, since its not very close to the city. The traffic can also be.... Less than ideal. Expect some amount of car honks around (its not the hotel's fault though) Overall, nice place, nice breakfasts. Would stay again.
The hotel is located very close to downtown. All the staff are really wonderful and considerate. They even prepared a romantic night decoration for us that I forgot to request. The hotel room is very clean and nice. Breakfast is great. 10/10
The warm and hot water flows well! Other than the door safety latch being broken and not fixed, there are no major problems! The bed has a sinking type, which may have personal preferences.

I stayed in Ulaanbaatar for just one night as a layover. I arrived late at night and departed the next morning, but there were no particular issues with the location or facilities. The security also seemed good. Although it was a short stay, the front desk staff provided various recommendations for souvenir shops in Ulaanbaatar and advice on winter clothing. They were very friendly and considerate, so if I come to Ulaanbaatar again, I would like to stay here again.
The warm water flows freely, the room size is spacious, and there are many facilities within the hotel, which is nice. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk to the national department store, but other than that, everything is fine.

A distance away from the main attractions but still has many shops and restaurants nearby. Think the main target audience here are Koreans. Has a spa and Sauna at B1, but on the day of my visit, the steam room is not working, only the dry sauna, and there's no male therapist to do body wash, etc., so didn't get to use the facility - which requires separate charges. Breakfast was good.

We checked in very late, around after dinner time. We can hear & feel the music tempo from the inhouse club even though our room was not on the same floor. The music ceased slightly after midnight I think. The room was decent, nothing horrible stood out. Was able to sleep after the music died down.
It was a great experience staying in this hotel. The only thing is the place is a bit far from the city centre on foot. However, I love the Korean restaurant in this hotel. It was amazing and the taste is the same as I usually have in Korea. They do deliver dishes to my room. I highly recommend it.

I was worried about traveling without a guide, but the hotel staff speak a little Korean. I traveled around by taxi, but it was terrible because the streets were congested. The hotel's breakfast is good, so if I have a filling breakfast and go out, it's okay to come back late. There are many Korean restaurants in the area, which is convenient, but I just ate the bread I brought with me until I came back.

While reading reviews, I had the chance to meet him in person, and even as a man, I can say he is really good-looking. He can speak a little Korean, and his seemingly chic but kind demeanor is quite charming. The room was clean and nice, but there was construction going on next door, so I would recommend those sensitive to noise to wait until the construction is completed before using it. The Korean restaurant on the 15th floor was delicious, and the night view was great. However, there was a slight smell of water in the bathroom, which I consider a point for improvement.

The accommodation was really good. There was a Korean restaurant right in front, which made it convenient for meals. There was also a bank across the street, which made it easy to withdraw cash. The staff were friendly, so there were no inconveniences. If I come to Mongolia again, I would like to visit again. I had a nice rest here.
The hotel room is spacious and easy to use. There are Korean restaurants, coffee shops, cashmere stores, a sauna, and karaoke rooms in the hotel, which is convenient. Right in front, there are chicken places, a convenience store, and a supermarket, so the location is good as well.
This place has a staff member named En Su, who is very fluent in Korean and is incredibly kind to the Korean guests. This is a hotel that all Koreans must visit!!! Everyone here is very friendly, so make sure to visit this place when you travel to Mongolia!!!
This condition at an affordable price is the best. If we can start the tour right after staying at the accommodation, that would be amazing! Since we need to use a taxi in the city, I recommend staying at a hotel in the city center if you're planning continuous city trips. The manager was very kind, and I found out that the owner of the café on the first floor, Cashmere Café, is Korean, haha. It's perfect for a caffeine recharge!

“Great Location and Friendly Front Desk”
I arrived at this hotel on the night of April 25, 2015. First of all, the location is very convenient — there’s a convenience store and a bank ATM right across the street, and the surrounding area is calm and not chaotic. Secondly, the front desk staff was very helpful, especially a young man with glasses who assisted me a lot. Even after I arrived in Mongolia, I still couldn’t get in touch with my next destination hotel in Murun. I tried their official website, email, Facebook, and WhatsApp — all with no response, so I couldn’t confirm my reservation. Since Murun is a remote area with very few tourists and I was traveling alone, I was quite worried. I asked the front desk staff for help, and the young man kindly tried calling the hotel for me. Although the call didn’t go through, I really appreciated the effort. The next morning, the same staff member helped me arrange a taxi, assisted me in getting in, and explained my destination to the driver. Taking a taxi in Mongolia is difficult, so I was very grateful. However, the bus station I was dropped off at turned out to be incorrect. Fortunately, the taxi driver helped contact the bus driver and found a nearby bus stop where I could wait. He stayed with me until I safely boarded the bus to Murun before he left. Thanks to the help of the local people, my journey went smoothly — I’m very thankful.
