A hotel staff said the hotel can pick you up for free at the airport. Please ask the hotel. I didnt know that before talking to the hotel staff.

What a total disappointment.”
Nothing is good about this hotel. Only it is close to the airport but if u need to go downtown, that's like an hour commuting time (bus+subway).
No good restaurants nearby...only a few chain restuarants like burgur king and timmys. No wifi in your room.request 4 times to get a room change but no response. Only been told by staffs that they are working on it and it should be working in an hour. Well your "an hour" turns up to be a 3 night stay. And who knows if its working now!! Staffs don't honor our request. Once you check in, that's like the end. warning to business travellers or families who need wifi to plan your trip or get things done online. Room conditions are old but bed is fine. Towels are nasty. There were strands of long hair stuck on them. The building is old and lacks liveliness. The atmostphere is depressing.

Not impressive.”
Access to the airport. Nothing else.
First impression? Room was smelly. Entire hotel has a cheap fragrancy. My room has smell of smoking. There were cigarette ashes in the sink. The front agent was kind enough to change the room though.

OK reasonable value”
location, internet, cost
Interesting! After booking we read some very bad reviews of this hotel and considered cancelling but I'm glad we didnt. OK the place is a bit run down and in a low economic area but it really wasnt too bad for the money; the staff were very helpful, the location is good as it is both close to the airport and easy access to public transport to downtown and a nearby shopping centre and next door to the best Vietnamese restaurant we've been to outside of Vietnam. However, the TV in the room didnt have an on/off button and the carpets and wall paper were in need of replacement, there was an ironing board but no iron.

Convenient during road trip passing Toronto”
Location close to highway, not too expensive
We stayed at the hotel for one night during a road trip arriving late and leaving early. Therefore, the hotel is at a good location and offers okay value for the price. The room was pretty large with two comfortable queen beds. For our purpose, it was a good choice (wouldn't recommend for sightseeing in Toronto or when looking for a nice hotel).

Satisfactory”
Comfortable, reasonably priced, friendly staff
The room staff needs to have better training to spot any discrepancies, - not only making beds and vacuuming. Example: Defrost freezer compartment which had excessive ice built-up; coffee maker did not work (on-button was stuck); floor lamp dangerously leaning to one side because stand was not solidly attached to bottom disc (not tightly screwed together). Similar imperfections may be forgiven because of a favourable room rate. However, to correct the above examples would require appropriate attention rather than any expenditures. Would I go back again? Yes. This is a helpful suggestion, not a complaint.

Toronto Plaza Airport Hotel”
The air conditioner was on
We were looking for somewhere to stay on a return trip from Europe while we had a long layover in Toronto. We wanted a hotel with a shuttle, workout area, pool/hot tub, and free wi-fi. The hotel failed to deliver on anything we wanted. I called for the shuttle pickup I had trouble understanding the guy on where we needed to wait for the shuttle. So I asked for clarification by asking "that's 'F' as in Frank." Eventually we figured out the reply was "Yes 's' as in snake." Now put yourself in my shoes... Got off the plane and my ears still hadn't popped, and it's a loud airport with tons of people. Throw on top of that a thick accent and you should start a response to a question with "Yes" then say something completely opposite. Enough on that we get to the hotel The workout area smelled bad and we didn't want to stand there a breath let alone do any sort of cardiovascular workout. The hot tub area had pools of water on the floor - does that count? Then the wi-fi didn't work in the room. After walking around the hotel I only got hints of signal. I went to the front desk to ask for help. One guy said he was going to check on something, but then was never to be seen again.

I asked what will be the total amount.. She said she's busy whatever in theinternet... There is no complimentary shampoo or other toiletries.. 1st and last to go in this hotel.. Poor service!!!!

Nice budget hotel”
large rooms, good price
We stayed in this hotel because everything in downtown Toronto was too expensive. Days Hotel is quite far from the downtown but public transportation in Toronto is very convenient, so it was easy to reach popular tourist destinations. The breakfasts are poor and facilities overall are old, but the rooms are spacious and amenities, beddings, towels, and other things in the room are clean and maintained well.

Days Hotel and Conference Centre Airport East”
Close to (YYZ), reliable shuttle service, unbeatable price
i have stayed in this hotel 3 times now. distance wise, the location is good. however, the area (jane & wilson) is not known to be the most "scenic". i imagine in certain seasons, it could be downright dangerous. all 3 times, i have stayed during the winter. no mishaps from my experience. the hotel could use some tlc. ok... a lot of tlc. carpets, bathrooms renos, new bedding. it's tidy, but not necessarily clean. with that said, the parking is now free, and the rooms are fine for the most part. sometimes the halls have been filled with "illegal odours". the beds are comfortable, and everything the room has, works just fine. for the amount you pay, there's no reason to complain. if you want the hilton experience, go out and pay for it!

Great Service - relatively clean for a older hotel”
Pool was clean and refreshing, rooms were a great value
The front counter was very pleasant they answered any questions with great knowledge of the area and restaurants that met your needs. Currently their restaurant was under construction. I always like a hotel with a pool and their's was exceptionally clean (salt water). Although we did not get the deluxe king room as ordered they did accommodate us with the double queens room which were quite spacious.

comfortable rooms, convenient location”
comfy beds, good sized rooms, close to several grocery stores, close to public transportation and highways, has a small but reasonable gym
good basic hotel, don't expect anything fancy but rooms are reasonable and clean and beds quite comfortable, our tv was a little tempermental and channels were limited, breakfast is continental so it's simple but one can order extras like bacon n eggs, pancake etc for extra $$, gym small but treadmill and weights machine decent, grocery stores just a quick walk away and there is also an reasonably authentic asian bakery and jamaican takeout, staff seem overworked and somewhat unhappy (maybe hotel is short-staffed?)but we did recieve friendly help from a maintenance worker when our door keycard didn't work. recommended for basic stay, maybe for business or other no-frills accomodation
