The place is a house converted to a lodge. They have 2 restrooms for sharing. The owner is very accommodating. They have their own store for things that you may need like coffee and junk foods. Its really like home away from home.

GOOD STAY”
Very nice accomodation. Walking distance from the airport. Sarisari store at the Troy Lodge You can stroll and walk around Basco even at night. Walking distance from famous food restau. Only that there is only one cr - common cr for all and wood division so you woukd here ur neighbor room. But over all, 2 thumbs up. Nanay Linda is very nice. Thank u for our stay❤️

Walking distance from the airport, cheap price and a home-like accommodation. Shared bathroom has a heater, the room's aircon(split type) was ok, they have a water dispenser and kitchen is open for use.

Value for Money”
The place is accessible to go around on foot or by trike. We can use the kitchen for cooking but the utensils should be cleaned from time to time. The facilities need to improve and for the comfort, the beddings and pillows should be changed. I think they should need new beds and blankets. The shared bathroom is too small which made us uncomfortable to use whenever we take a shower. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but then again it needs more improvement.

The site is accessible. It is a 5 min walk from the airport. It is near cafes and food place. It's affordable but you only get what you paid for.

Kind staff and easy to locate”
Pros: The staff are accommodating and kind. The place is accessible to go around the area. You can use the kitchen for cooking. Cons: The facilities are not well-maintained. The kitchenware and the room has some dusts and the bed has some small insects but fortunately we could move to the other room. Also, the shared bathroom is quite small. Overall, it was a fine stay but needs some improvement for the facilities and I suggest they change the beddings for the comfort of the guests. Thank you Troy Lodge!

Good thing that Batanes is a very safe place, otherwise, I would not recommend. We stay at the end room towards the balcony where the door is left wide open at night.. and as mentioned in other reviews the place needs maintenance, heater not working though the host said it does..

First of all, i’d like to say thank you to nanay Linda for taking care of our needs and being so attentive during our stay. We’d stay here for two nights (october 19-21). Troy lodge is very easy to find.. 5 minutes walk from the airport. Lakarin nyo nalang limang kanto then go down. Ang main landmark nya is yung iglesia ni kristo. Troy lodge is also known in Basco. Pag lapag namin, we just asked the airport staff kung saan yung troy lodge and they immediately told us the instruction.. accessible from the airport and convenient kasi nanay linda has a sari sari store. Ang comfy ng house, kumpleto ang gamit saka may hot water sa banyo. I strongly recommend this house better than hotel. Malinis at higit sa lahat maayos kausap ang may ari, open sa mga gamit so you can use it during your stay. I think yung picture sa agoda ay medyo madumi pero inside its really clean, its a filipino modern house. Madali kausap si nanay saka super safe sa bahay. Feel at home kaming mag asawa. 😃 Plus, they have a good family background so it makes sense why kilalang kilala ang troy lodge sa basco 😃 Godbless nanay linda and more bookings to come po!

Enjoyable Homestay”
The location is just two blocks walk-able from the airport. Owner and the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They also have store where you can buy your necessities and etc... Overall, we had a great homestay at Troy Lodge.

Cheap stay”
We stayed here for 3 nights. If you want to experience the Batanes lifestyle, you may want to experience it here. Rooms were clean especially the sheets, if you need to buy something they have a store downstairs, laundry is not a problem because it's a house apart from this lodge and take note that if you have dirty clothing they do handwash it. I love their big balcony on the second floor, you can buy your booze, chips, wine and the like and just chill on the breezy balcony. Nanay Erlinda was very accommodating, she will act like as your temporary mother during your stay. Ate Lisa is a cool staff also, she always smiles and very friendly to us. Thanks for your warm hospitality, Ivatan's are very very very kind hearted people. All throughout my journey in the Philippines, Batanes has the best people to deal with 😄

Very homey place”
We stayed there for a weekend and the place was so homey. The staff were very very accommodating, honest and hospitable. They also helped us to get our tours and the price they gave us was very affordable. The nanay who owned the place was very helpful in pointing important directions. It's not true that they turn off the electricity during the day. It's just that there are rotating power interruptions in Basco every once in a while.

Perfect spot!”
The place is perfect. Our room is clean. You can buy anything you needed in their store. Walking distance from the airport, canteens and etc. After our tour when we have time in the afternoon, we just walk around Basco and watch the sunset in the port. We'll book again here if we will come back to Batanes. Thank you Nanay, your the best. We had a great stay here. Sulit po dito :D
