Very Poor Services and highly Unprofessional Hotel Staff”
Hi, Extremely disappointed with how the hotel staff behaved and also with the cleanliness considering we had a new born with us. We had 3 kids who wanted to swim due to the hot weather however to our surprise, water in the swimming pool was awfully filthy with insects in it. Reception Staff did inform us that due to bad weather a few days back the water had become muddy however even after requesting it to be cleaned there was no step taken by them. SHOCKINGLY, saw a street dog drinking water from the pool even after asking the hotel staff to get the pool cleaned. Ordered milk around 10:00 PM thru room service, they could not get it delivered. Called the room Service thrice however my patience ran out when we received milk which wasn’t even warm. I went to the kitchen myself, where the staff said that their shift was over and they will warm the milk (which was for my 1.5 years old kid)after 30 minutes once they have had their dinner. They said that they are in no obligation to ser
decent value for money”
Udai Vilas is a well rated place to put up when planning to visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Hotel staff is very warm, liked the hospitality. Breakfast was very good. Me n wife also enjoyed the evening puppet show. few cons which can be taken care by the hotel that will make it even more awesome place to stay for my next visit: found the bed matresses hard same may be upgraded. Couldnt connect to the complimentary Wi-Fi. Washroom may have better ventilation, also there can be a soap tray placed near the bath area. Overall experience very good, would definitely recommend this to all travellers as this is one of the best known place in Bharatpur to stay with family.
I was traveling with a group of seven people and two kids.”
We stayed from 30th March to 1st April 2018. Firstly, I made my choices about rooms being close to each other as my booking was done a little later and we were a group of seven to the manager. I was given room at one end and other three rooms together. I spoke before hand to the managers Anupam and Vikram for the same. Secondly, the rooms were not cleaned and made up the next day. It was only after our pestering they cleaned it up. We had to ask them for water bottles which should have been otherwise kept on their own. Their services were quite slow. Breakfast along with complimentary evening tea was good. Pool is good but needs to be cleaned everyday. When we checked out l asked for couple of glasses of water, but they took around ten minutes to serve the same. No facility of gym. Last order of food is around ten, which is quite a short period. I would advise everyone to check these factors and then book the hotel. Airtel Network and wifi are quite slow.
Dear Guest, Firstly Sorry for the Inconvenience Caused to you during stay & thank you for appreciating Food & Tea. About the rooms away from each other : We give the rooms together only but as we informed you in hotel we have both Large Bed & Twin Beded rooms & we have to give room according to choice you opted for large bed we gave you large bed other room in between was Twin Beded & there are only six rooms in one Row, so your room was only 20 Feet away from others. For the Rooms day-cleaning : Yes our team was late & we still apologies for same. Water Bottles : we generally give 02 water bottles comp each day but in your rooms we made sure to give extra. Room service : we received snacks order on Day 1 which was delivered in promised time rest other days we provided Empty Plates & Bowls. (we have them as soon as we received) We have fully Functional Gym with all Machines you might have missed it. It is in Spa Block. Our intention is to Provide best services.
Smelly, run down rooms with seepage. This place needs a complete makeover. ”

Nice and Clean property”
We had stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. On the first night, we were the only guests and since we reached quite late in the evening, we did not want to venture out and had dinner at the hotel. Dinner was a-la-carte and was quite good. Next day, when we went for the buffet breakfast, they asked us what we want and after we ordered , they sent the same to the room. The staff at the hotel were very courteous and always served us with smile. The food was also quite good, suggest you stick to Indian Cuisine. The location of the hotel was on the highway, so you dont get many things around but then it was also not very far away from conveniences. The property was maintained quite well and the rooms and the toilets had a neat look. Would have been more enjoyable if there were enough guests in the hotel.. Recommended for visit.
A great place to stay”
It is probably the best places in that region but it is definitely not a luxurious place. The rooms are little old the the laundry is little dirty. We stayed during new year so hotel was full and staff was little stretched. But for Bharatpur area, I guess this is your best bet. Note* - The buffet food though not grand, we good in general (not too oily or spicy) as they have lot of foreigners staying over
Decent hotel with spacious rooms”
Pros: hotel is well located along side highway. Has good spacious rooms (we stayed in heritage suites) It has well spread lawns in front and center of the property. Has adequate and well behaved staff. Cons: The price is a bit steep (we paid Rs 5.2k per night in December including breakfast) and extra Rs 600/pax for buffet Lunch or dinner. Menu spread was limited in breakfast and lunch/dinner for this price. The food quality/taste was even worse and was a big disappointment. Only thing that tasted well was Icecream and salad because those were not prepared by hotel kitchen.
Nice homely feel, pleasantly low rise”
We enjoyed staying here. The owner/General Manager is hands on, the very nice, well travelled, cosmopolitan & communicative Mr Udai Singh. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Colonial in appearance, rooms & sitting out areas are spotlessly clean. Very pleasant marble flooring & low rise/low key feel to the place. Food was excellent. Nice pool.Short auto rickshaw into town & bird sanctuary: we hailed buses to Agra & Fatehpur Sikri right outside the hotel. Deeg is an hour away, all in all makes Bharatpur a great central location for several excursions. The town is unspoiled by tourism. And this is the hotel to stay at in my opinion, Room Tip: I liked our room 102, close to pool & resaurant, groumg floor.
The place is excellent good architecture and staff but the room are not the same as shown in agoda ”
The rooms are not same correctly that the picture. Other facilities are excellent and it's beautiful resort very near to bird sanctuary. Food was good. Breakfast was Ala Carte and normal. Servicing was excellent. Pool is nice.
Pros - location, cleanliness, facilities Cons - food, staff
would recommend to others too
