For a low key, no-fuss hideaway couples, honeymooners, and those looking to relieve stress would find checking into the Veranda Natural Resort perfect. A hilltop resort with bungalows overlooking the beach, guests can enjoy the sea breeze while lounging out on the decks. There are a number of nearby beaches to visit during the day while the beauty spa is available for a bit of pampering. Because the entire hotel is surrounded by a garden, there is a natural and unforced beauty throughout the area. Deluxe rooms offer air conditioning for those not taken by the overall rustic appeal. A multilingual staff, on-site restaurant and bar, as well as laundry facilities provide the comforts of a worry free holiday.

Hubs and I had a blissful stay. We've heard a lot about this resort and finally got around to go there while taking advantage of the green season discounts. Do we loved it there. We had some ambitious plans to try to check out the national park where resort is located, but we loved the facilities so much we coudn't get out of the resort until it was time to check out lol Room was clean, breakfast had plenty of options, views from their restaurant, cafe and infinity pool are just gorgeous. We ended staying out of the room pretty much the whole stay: either around infinity pool, their garden pool, restaurant or their cafe and only slept in the room. 3 things I wish were fixed: 1. wifi was weak throughout the property; 2. guests were taking their babies into the pool - I'm not sure if the babies had proper swimming pool diapers LOL ; 3. having local blue crabs on the menu (they've got stone crabs, but we find local blue crabs tastier despite being much smaller). Recommend!
This is a very good resort for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle.has very spacious rooms and everything worked even WiFi. Has 2 good size swimming pools.very good breakfast and restaurant was also very good.I would highly recommend this resort if you you fancy somewhere to chill
This is my favorite place to relax in Kep. ”
From location to cleanliness, to food and atmosphere- this place never fail to deliver my expectations. Perfect for those who is after nature, quiet and calm day. Swimming pools are exceptional. Look forward to be back there again soon.
Still my favorite place in Cambodia ”
We’ve been coming to la Veranda for more than 10 years, and it was never a disappointment. We made a mistake in our reservation, but the reception lady was helpful, kind and more than raisonnable. We are looking forwards to our next visit.
Beautiful place to relax”
We have stayed here for the past six years after a mission trip in Phnom Penh. It’s a breath of fresh air after being in the city and being at nutso clean hotels. The staff here are wonderful and the place is very clean. It’s in such a beautiful natural setting that you can really relax.
Lovely chique get-away”
Stayed for 4 nights in one of the family villas after recently staying in the busy Phnom Penh. The Hotel is just a short 10 minute walk down to Kep (although on a hill). Room was nice and clean with all necessary facilities. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Two great big pools with bars. The view of the sunset from the infinity bar is absolutely spectacular! The restaurant provides a wide range of Khmer and western options for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a spectacular view over the bay. Did day trips to Rabbit Island and Sothys Kampot Pepper Farm which were fun and interesting. The town is small but nice with great crab and seafood served in the local restaurants. All in all this was a lovely getaway and relax from the busy city - would recommend to anyone wanting some R&R!
Amazing place in the heart of the tropical forest ”
This is a hidden gem if you’re looking to chill to the sound of the jungle. Kudos to Kristoffer who was probably the best hotel staff we’ve had in Cambodia. This hotel is very recommended for 2 to 4 days
Great Views in the Middle of the Jungle”
We were pleased with the Veranda. The rooms were clean and the staff attentive. The air conditioning in the room was not working well and they sent a team to fix it immediately. The whole place has an eclectic feel and you can see the ocean or the jungle from any place. The breakfast was very good. We had a very tasty lunch by the pool, and later swam in another pool altogether. It is a bit pricey, but you don't get these views for free. I'll be back.
Awesome stay. Felt really taken care off”
Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast spread. Cool design of rooms. Lots of PowerPoints throughout the room. U may even charge Ur phone while relaxing in the hammock in the balcony. Highly recommended. You just have to tolerate the 4 hr car ride from Phnom Penh.
Best hotel in Cambodia!”
Amazing hotel! Rooms are spacious & very clean with private balconies. Food & staff were superb, extremely helpful throughout our stay. Great location close to both Kep Beach , crab market & at the foot of the National Park. Infinity pool sunset is also a must
Charge too much additional fee and restaurants food taste bad now”
I always stay at veranda every time I visit Kep, but this time I was so disappointed because at my dinner I bought crabs from crabs market and I asked them to reheat it for me and I’ll order more food here and have dinner at the restaurant they said they charge $5 per 1kg, it is too much! And the other 2 dishes that I order taste not good especially SeaFood tomyum it taste so plain and we can’t eat it at all. I recommend to reduce charge of crabs or any seafood that customer bring into the restaurant to $1 per kg it’s more reasonable, because we buy from crab market to support them too. And improve your chief cooking skill too. Then I’ll reconsider of staying here again! Thanks!
Vathana from Cambodia”
I had an amazing stay with my family. Highly recommend.
All Good except”
We had a family trip over Cambodian New Year (which coincide with Thailand's Songkran Water Festival). We have visited Veranda Natural Resort for several years now. Everything was as expected but two things. 1. They should do something about the signage to Veranda Natural Resort and pave the road to the main entrance. I know the name has "natural" in it but the pavement has to be there. It's been the same bumpy and dusty road for the last ten something years. So minus a star. 2. Increasing number of certain people from certain country has come and been smoking near children, especially at the pool. Very unhealthy and disgusting. And it costed a star for not controlling those people. Other than that, I haven't found any other place in Kep to top this place.
This is the 7th year we have stayed at Veranda and we are never disappointed. The staff are wonderful!!
We have always received excellent friendly service at Veranda!
Local chill hotel”
We took the cheapest room. It looks a bit dated but it stills comfortable and clean. The resort was build on the hill with thoughtful view on the sea from every where (restaurant, pool , room) and respecting the jungle mood. There is not much to do in Kep, but the hotel is not far from the seaside for those in look of a bar or other food options. Very nice breakfast in the morning with stunning view.
Relaxing oasis ”
Veranda has set exceptionally high standards and we just loved our stay here. The hotem itself has stunning views and was a great treat from the dusty roads of Cambodia. Highly recommend this gorgeous gem.
Love the property and I always go back to Veranda. From service to location, swimming pool, breakfast, and cleanliness all are perfect for your stay. Restaurant also offers very good quality of foods, variety of choices with local tast and with similar price as if you eat at a restaurant outside (Crab market).breakfast was also great with lots of choices. recommended for those who seek quiet vacation/break.
Surrounded by nature ”
This hotel is set in a natural environment. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is a very quiet setting. The swimming pools are clean with the infinity pool having a great view over the water, fabulous at sunset with a cool drink. Staff are very friendly, I would recommend this resort and is good value for money. Only thing needs improvement is the road leading up to Resort, in need of repair.
Tranquil and relaxing”
We stayed in Rosewood and had an incredibly large room and covered balcony. The rooms were clean, cool and well stocked. There are two pools and both tunes we were alone there which was great. Food is good and the atmosphere is very calming. Highly recommend.
