Had a 3 night stay here to try out staying near skyavenue but not in any of those hotels there. Read the mixed reviews and decided to give Wyndham a try. I would say that our stay is generally positive with some ‘danger’ signs that the hotel may fall into mediocrity if not managed. First the good. It is a 5 star hotel and lives up to it mostly. The service is top notch and they handled guests issues professionally and admirably. The facilities and amenities are also of 5 star standard. For the four of us, we booked a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment we were assigned to looked fine on surface but there are many clear signs of wear and tear not befitting a 5 star hotel even though it was clean. Worst is the stench in the bathroom. We asked for a room change and kudos to staff, they gracefully offered another apartment for us to inspect and move to if acceptable. As a gesture of service recovery, the 2 bedroom was upgraded to 3 bedroom which was not needed for a family of 4 but appreciated nonetheless. The 3 bedder turned out much better without the stench and was very clean. It also had an amazing open view of the surrounding highland landscape and offered opportunities to catch the sunrise every day. This would easily be one of the top draws offered by the hotel. While the hotel is about 4km away from skyavenue and where all the actions are, it is easily a grab ride away. For a family of 4, grab offers the most convenient option since it’s cheap and comfortable. There is also the hourly shuttle service which costs rm6 per person which does not make economic sense, costing more and not as convenient. It was unfortunate that the gym and pools on level 13 were closed temporarily as their unavailability during our stay makes them fall short of a 5 star hotel. Overall, the hotel has potential but seems in danger of turning into something worse if not well managed. Management needs to put attention to maintaining the facilities to provide the best experience for guests.

The location is awesome, the concept of an extreme engineering construction is great. However, keeping the macro matters aside, on the micro matters, many things to improve to match the new construction to a 5 star expectation. So listing them down for mgmt. to take a note. 1. Paint dots all over the furniture and balcony glass wall. 2. Bathroom is very small for the size of the 60m2 room. 3. Bathroom lock wasn't opening from inside, but maint. fixed it upon reporting. 4. Bidet cleaning head is very hard to press, the holder is very tight for the head. 5. Shower room door bottom not sealed properly, so water leaking outside. 6. There is no height and angle adjustable shower head holder, the wall holder is again not a proper set came with shower head, but some after market fitting, not easy to put and release the shower head from the handle. Also, the position of the shower holder and position of soap holders are not thoughtfully positioned, construction guys just them to according to their understanding perhaps.. not to the hotel standard. 6. A tile on the wall fell down 7. Nobody informed about some listed amenities are not yet ready, but we had to find out ourselves by trying to access them. 8. The floor corridor smells cement odour, they need to deodor it? 9. Wifi SSID and Password shown on the TV, but it was irrelevent, as there is no such SSID, but an insecure common wifi allowing access. 10. There is no balcony chair to sit and enjoy the view or the weather. 11. Car parking is full of cement and dust, not sure why they left it like that (even though the floors are officially opened for access. Entering the main elevator from the car park will only leave the cement to the elevator hall and car is full of such cement. 12. Elevator is not clean because of unclean car park floors. Poor fittings and insincere finishing of the constructions work leads to disappointments. Hopefully, they fix all the fixable items.

Great Value Stay with Excellent Service and Amenities" I had a pleasant experience during my stay. The front desk staff provided friendly and efficient service, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and welcoming. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations—definitely great value for the price paid. One of the highlights was the complimentary access to the sauna, which added a relaxing touch to my stay. We initially checked into a spacious room, but unfortunately, it had a damp, musty odor. The toilet seat was stained and couldn’t be cleaned, and the bidet next to it was broken—when turned on, it sprayed water all over me. There was also a window near the shower that wouldn’t fully close, letting in cold wind and making showering quite uncomfortable. We contacted customer service to request a room change. They sent someone to fix the issues, but the stains and window problem couldn’t be resolved, and we were asked to tolerate it. Only after we insisted did they agree to let us change rooms at the reception. The new room didn’t have the same problems, but unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong sewage smell. I didn’t even dare to use the toilet that night, and had to brush my teeth at the sink outside the bathroom. Overall, the environment was pleasant, but the stay was disappointing due to the poor room conditions and handling of the situation.

“Different of Wyndham hotel & Signata hotel”
-Located in the same building, Wyndham hotel check in at Ground Floor Lobby, Signata check in at 12th Floor. Parking is in the same building. -Wyndham hotel room is slightly bigger than Signata Hotel but the furniture is same -Wyndham hotel corridor can’t lock, need to take care young children -Breakfast at the same restaurant Ambrosia, when staying at Wyndham Hotel doesn’t charge for 8 years old kids but charge RM40 when staying at Signata Hotel. Weekend a lot of ppl, 9am food and drinks all finish, wait quite long time to refill the food and drinks… -Hard to find others restaurant nearby, nearest need to drive to Genting highlands. Shopee food not available, if self order from restaurant grab will charge RM30++ send to hotel -Wyndham hotel have nice Mountain View, Signata hotel facing building -Wyndham hotel quite on night, Signata hotel have loud sound on midnight (like wind blow the corridor whole night…) -Staying at both hotel also need to Ground floor Wyndham hotel check in counter show parking ticket to waived parking fees (everytime going out, staff doesn’t mention, first time we have been charged…) -Usingmaxis & digi, no line in Wyndham hotel room, need to connect hotel free wifi. No line problem when staying at Signata hotel. -kids pool was free when we check in on May 2025, currently charge RM20 for each kids. there is a bucket pouring cool water to my kids head, they get shock and doesn’t want to play the kids pool… -new attraction Hoverland, need to going up from Ground Floor Hoverland counter( there is only 1 lift can go to Rooftop, we have tried all the lift…) -Hard rock cafe on 50th floor , we go on Saturday night have live band, food tasty and staff friendly, rmb make reservation to avoid long queue
