I stayed here for 4 nights with an affordable price, if you don't mind sharing a room and toilet with others then this place is a great deal. Just walking distance from Malioboro Street, the environment is safe and the owner is very friendly. I would stay here again if I come back to Yogja!

I stayed at Yogyakarta Bnb for three nights and had a great time. Everyone was really friendly when I arrived and the people i shared the dorm with were great. The outdoor shower is amazing and the breakfast is incredible - best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hostel before - and also better than most breakfast that you can buy!! Would definitely stay again! Lovely little hostel!

First of all, I would like to give the compliment for the owner (Mbak Ida) and her mother, they are so friendly, kind and helpful. The owner allowed us to use all the available kitchen utensils and other facilities. As I stayed with my baby, finding mosquitos around the room was quite disturbing. Overall, this place is worth to try.

It was an unplanned visit to Jogja. Found this hostel through Agoda. The room looked spacious and clean from the photos and it's actually real. The place is huge and modern. I booked 3 nights there. I arrived with Grabike late at night and the reception was still open. The lobby is huge where you can find desktop free for use, toilet, musollah and smoking zone. During registration, they'll need your passport and IDR50K for card deposit. They'll give you door card, breakfast coupons, a small towel and a blanket. They sell basic amenities with cheap prices as well and drinks. You also can rent a bike from the hostel. The 6 bed dormitory room I booked is not cramppy. Each room has a toilet with bidet and a shower. There's a free locker for each guest and that's where the power plug is if you wanna charge your phone. The room is equipped with AC but it's not strong enough during the day. But Yogyakarta isn't that hot during the day (if compared to Bangkok). For this cheap room, you'll get a simple, free breakfast every morning. The menu is changed everday and if you're a toast person, then you can order it for free the day before. You also can order a few other things later for a small amount of money. There's a new and cozy bar that serves local and western food. It's a nice place to hangout and smoke. This hostel is usually full with local travellers. If you like to know more Indonesian culture and interact more with the local you should come here.

i stay at casa raffles hotel for 3 night when school holiday started. you know yogyakarta is well known for lack of hotel room supply in school holiday. i had difficulties booking hotel room a month before holiday in one of my favorite yogya hotels (ibis, mutiara, rumah boedi). so, i booked a junior suite at casa raffles. when first arrive i was dissapoint a bit because there is no car park , there is only garage that can only fit 2 cars. so the last day i stayed i parked the car on the street. actually this place is famous for backpacker, it is a big house converted into backpacker hostel. but they have 4-5 junior suite rooms. the room is what supprise me, it is big and the bathroom is enourmous! the size of bathroom is 4x10 meters. the location is also great, 10 minutes walk to malioboro, and you can also go to kraton yogya walking because it is near (cut trip via small road). becak, food stalls are everywhere!!

Det bästa hostel jag bott på! Planerade att stanna 3 nätter men blev kvar längre än en vecka. Personalen är helt underbara, får en att känna sig som hemma och kommer med massor av bra tips för att göra ens vistelse i Yogyakarta den absolut bästa. De hjälper gärna till att researcha och boka prisvärd transport/utflykter. God frukost, sköna sängar och alltid rent och fräscht. Miljön är härligt kreativ och man får lätt kontakt med de andra gästerna: nästan varje kväll blev en stor jamsession där vi alla sjöng, spelade gitarr och umgicks med varandra. Stämningen är helt enkelt fantastisk! --- Best hostel experience ever: wonderful and well informed staff that will help make your stay in Jogja the best it can be. Social and creative atmosphere, perfect for connecting with other travelers and locals alike. Clean rooms and comfortable beds (and the most delicious breakfast). You will be so glad you stayed here!

I had planned to stay at Omah Konco for 4 days but ended up staying for 12 purely because of the lovely hospitality of Oki and the team at Omah Konco. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel at home and part of the family and everyone did all they could to help me. They gave me advice about what to do, helped me to book tours and also gave up their own free time to take me out in the city. Oki's friends would stop by and we would sit and chat so I learned a lot about Indonesia and the culture. The guesthouse is between the main shopping area to the North and bars and restaurants in the more touristy area to the South so walking distance or short taxi to both. I had a great time and would highly recommend Omah Konco if you want somewhere relaxed and friendly to stay. Thank you Oki and friends

I was extremely impressed by its helpful staff. Much APPRECIATED for what MUKHSIN did during my stay. He did an AMAZING job! He helped me with lunch delivery from his cellphone apps (when i was starving and hardly went out because of heavy shower), took me around on his motorbike to buy a local sim card, arrange tours for me. i was absolute TOUCHED by his SINCERE care. He did as well as a chief concierge at 5 star hotels like Park Hyatt, even better with his nice manner and kind personality. I had an exciting Kalibiru trip with NASRUN on his motorbike. He did a great job! LUCY was a charming too! She gave beautiful recommendations for local vegetarian restaurants. There were bicycles for cycling around, which was a plus for staying here! THANK YOU, GUYS! TERIMA KASIH !!! Beside nice services , there are things need improving: 1. The smell of bed sheet, pillow cases was bad (due to poor laundry i guess). Fabric softener should be added while doing laundry to prevent bad sme

They staff are very nice though they have little English but they understand you and helpful. I was constantly ripped off around the town but they offered to be with me with i need to go out and they do help to get it on local price. If i will go back, i will still book at this hostel

The best stay we've had so far! The room is so beautiful and so many cute details. The owners make you feel like you are home. The breakfast was really delicious. Everything was perfect, the best stay! Totally recommend

The room is small but clean..the price is cheap and good for backpackers..the staff are friendly..the towel provided is small and smelly..toilet is clean..free breakfast either instant mee cup or toast as well as tea/ coffee is provided even though when booking it stated no breakfast provided.The location of the hotel is just few minutes walk to Malioboro street. Overall, i like this hotel due to the price, clean, friendly staff and its location.

I had hectic tour schedule and only two days to cover Yogyakarta. Chose Cabin Hotel near the Malioboro street, and this cabin hotel was close to Malioboro Mall. The hotel staff was good, I checked in late, but the room was ready as I reached my hotel. The staff immediately showed me the clean small room with A/C. To Sum it up the stay was good, and I was able to cover Borbodour and Prambanan temples as per my plan ;). Would recommend this cabin Hotel to my friends as the amount I spent seems to worth.

First time i booked a hostel in Yogyakarta and i I chose Wake up homestay. I was amazed by their service..and how the hostel is. The location not so far from Tugu station, malioboro, trans jogja and beringhajo market. The bed pillow n blanket so comfortable. They had nice bed bunk with 100% excellent privacy, clean bathrooms. The space between other beds were wide where u can't find in other hostel, they also provided a locker to keep my belongings safe. The free trip they made for the guests to the waterfall totally unforgettable, i hope wake up homestay can be well-known for those who wants to stay in Yogyakarta. 🙏🏾🍁

This is a lovely place with a family feel and friendly staff. There is nice space for relaxing on the second floor with tea and coffee available, and the breakfast is great. It was very quiet except for the mosque call to prayer. The room was clean but the bathroom a little dirty. The only problem was that it was advertised in the description as having air conditioning, but there is actually NO AC, at least in the cheapest rooms, just a fan. They should change that in the description so that customers are not confused. But it is still a good price for the area.

This hotel is very convenience right in the middle of Shopping Area in Yogyakarta City. The Room is big enough and clean. If you are looking for value hotel, this hotel is just suitable for you, especially iyou are traveling with your friends.

I stayed here for a couple days and i know that this is the right place to stay in Yogyakarta. This place is cost low but high in facilities. It has AC and TV,including the bathroom which is inside the room. The place is is the middle of the town and you can go anywhere because the public transportation is available. The hospitality was really nice and i really recommend you to spent your time here because it is very nice

Myself and my friend spent five nights at Sky hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating at all times. The manager Anton has brilliant English. He helped us to book a driver to visit the temples, also helped us find somewhere to get our laundry done at short notice and he even posted our postcards for us as the post office was closed. The rooms are spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable and clean towels and water are provided everyday. The location is perfect. A short walk to the main tourist street and a quick and cheap taxi away from anywhere else in Yogyakarta. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. we like orlen hotel so much, and we plan to stay there again when we visit yogyakarta next time. these hotel is very clean, and have friendly price :) it will be more interesting because agoda often offer discount price for this hotel. we also like the breakfast menu, rendang chicken. its delicious. their staff are very friendly and helpfull. we surprised when we found our own car already clean in the morning before we go, because we don't ask them to do it. but they do it for us without asking for tip or fee.

Pros: The place was so quite and clean. They made our bed and clean the room every day. There is coffee, tea and hot/cold drinking water for 24 hours. Staff friendly and helpful. Hot shower, AC. Cons: Poor breakfast, toast and scrambled eggs. A LOT OF MOSQUITOES! We couldn’t sleep the first night, but they gave us a spray and it worked good.

The location of the hotel is not on the main road, but within walking distance from the city center. If you're too lazy to walk, pedicabs are readily available at the front of the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet. I found it a perfect location if you don't like crowded, noisy surrounding. The size of the room is large and the bathroom is small but comfortable. The amenities are standard but complete. These all are quite surprising for a one star hotel. The breakfast food is tasty, albeit not many variations. However, I found the mattress to be too firm, making my night sleep not so comfortable. After a day of walking, I really need my beauty restful sleep.

It's normal place, old with old furniture, no blankets, towels, shower and hot water. But it's really like historical building in old city. So for this price is ok. Almost you can eat inside, very good food.

1. If you’re coming with a taxi or motorcycle, you’ll have to alight at jl. Sosrowijayan and walk in to the very small lane to get to the Homestay. It was raining heavily when I exited the taxi. There’s no cover overhead in the small lane. 2. Staff are friendly and helpful. 3. This is truly a Budget accommodation - small room, no hot shower or toilet paper, no blanket, no ventilation so it’s quite stuffy and only local channels on TV. 4. Otherwise, the room is clean, WiFi works well and there are lots of restaurants and public transportation close by. 5. There are convenience stores/mini marts close by if you need water, toiletries and other basic necessities. 6. It takes 20 minutes from the airport by taxi, and a 2-minute walk from the Tugu train station. 7. Located in the center of the city just 3 minutes walk to Malioboro St. 8. If you’re planning a luxurious vacation, this is not the place to come to, but if you’re a backpacker and on the go, this should do just fine.

We did not like the city location as was too busy, that was our choosing. For younger people the location would be much better. There were a couple of minor issues with the room, despite a late checkin the staff quickly responded to these issues. They were fantastic and certainly make the homestay. We had to checkout a few days early and the homestay even kindly gave us a free ride to the airport. Whilst the location was not for me, the homestay and it’s staff were.

This Homestay is near from train station, we just walking about 5-8 minutes. And this homestay near Malioboro too. I really recommend this homestay to backpackers that need a cheap room near Malioboro. The room is clean and comfort, the receptionist is so humble. The homestay near from Mosque but no restaurant near this homestay, but that's okay...

Location is not that far when getting to malioboro. It is 15-20 min walk. For our three day stay, all we have for breakfast was nasi goreng with fried egg though i requested for a nasi putih on the 2nd and 3rd day since i coudn't eat hot and spicy foods. There were stalls selling simple foods for lunch and dinner near the homestay. I think Jasmine heritage homestay was a residential house but transformed to a homestay. Smelly comfort room with yellowish toilet bowl, there were black ants and room couldn't be closed from the outside. Staff were not good in english but they tried their best when asked for whatever request.

Staying for couple days, The location with this price value is the main reason why i choose MG hotel. A couple minutes from Yogyakarta main tourist destination, Malioboro. The room are ordinary regular hotel room. This is a new hotel, Air Conditioner is functionally great cold as it should be, showering using hot water is relaxing after full day traveling, thou there should be a mirror in the toilet. Breakfast should be more creative, not Fried rice every single morning. In conclusion.. love this hotel, the moment. Would stay again if i had the chance. :)
