Zaragoza City Center hotels & places to stay

zaragoza thanks to nh cuidad de zaragoza was the highlight of the mammoth voyage from southern spain home to england with my labrador. the restaurant was closed so i did not try it however the nearby plaza had hundreds to choose from. the park for walking the dog was amazing...the views of basilicata de pilar were spectacular from the park. great safe place for a woman and a dog on their own.

I usually say a good sign of a hotel is how you are greeted by the staff. On our arrival, we were briefed of the hotel facilities, and also of the eating places and places of interest which we must see whilst in Zaragoza. The room was a good size with lounge chair and table, the bathroom was a good size and it has a great shower. On our leaving the staff wished us a good trip and thanked us for our visit.

The room is a bit small, but really nice and cozy hotel, in the center of City of Zaragoza. Service is nice, including the Wifi, everywhere in the hotel got Wifi connection. The hotel itself is a nice building, facing to a small square. It's a hotel that I recommend a lot. C/P value is higher than imagine.

We stopped at Hesperia Zaragoza Hotel on our way to Barcelona to break up the drive. The hotel was incredibly hard to get to due to roadworks in the city. It took as an hour longer than we thought it was going to take us due to the fact that we had to try and navigate around the roadworks with the sat nav. The room itself was clean and a good size. The staff were very helpful and there were carparking facilities available. All in all, we would recommend this hotel for your stay in Zaragoza.

I have stayed in this hotel with a group of friends, just last week. The hotel is in the center of the city, near cafes, restaurants, esplanades and water fountains. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. The staff is very kind and very alert. Loved it!

A hotel with clean spacious rooms, most comfortable beds, and very helpful friendly staff in a central location - many of Zaragoza's attractions are within walking distance. Parking was available at around Euros, and we could leave the car for free until midnight after checkout. We were told we would need individual login details for each device - and offered by the friendly staff to get a (free!) account for all gadgets we were carrying, including our wifi capable mobile phones. That's service! My wife instantly wanted to stay longer in this hotel.

1 night stay for stopover.. staff were great! location not too bad but tough if driving and following gps.. walking distance to town.. wonderful and pleasant stay.. love the city!

Realy city center, walk to everywhere At front of the hotel, there is a good valuable buffe resto for lunch and dinner

Love the front and back private balcony and space in each room is just great and comfortable, definitely will be my choice of stay again!!

The room was clean and there was a small balcony also in the room. The breakfast was average spanish buffet breakfast including for example some cold meat, cheese, croissants, bread, juice, coffee, some fruits and yoghourt. The location was perfect. They should do something with the order of the bathroom. I could hardly get to the toilet seat, because the sink was so close to the toilet seat. The AC didn't work at all.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a low-priced, friendly, comfortable hotel in the city centre, close to the cathedral. I really couldn't have been happier, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering a special rate of parking in their underground car park, with an excellent car park attendant.(Parking is expensive in Zaragoza, and this saved me 30 euros during my stay.)Very good value for money; if I return to Zaragoza I would definitely choose this hotel again.

We stayed in Apartamentos Sabinas EI Pilar for one night which located onsite of the famous icon of Zaragoza – Palacio de la Aljaferia. Our room was on the top floor with excellent view of the Palacio de la Aljaferia. Although the room was somewhat small, it was clean and neat with good facilities; we believed it had been renovated not too long ago. The front desk was not really a hotel desk but a bakery shop; after you settled your bill, one of the staff would bring you to your room; the staff was friendly and helpful. However, there was no parking provided, you need to pay Euro 15 to park your car in an underground parking near the hotel which was very challenging to drive down with the narrowed winding drive path.

Room was spacious for two (we had the most basic room), nice big window and it’s clean. Housekeeping was fantastic, added little touches of finesse and helped hang my fresh laundry up neatly to dry while I was out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was a winner. I went to Zaragoza for the sole purpose to pray at the Basilica of our Lady of Pillar and it was just a few steps away. More imptly, the shopping street is at the door step of the hotel. Right behind the hotel sits a reasonably priced Chinese restaurant (€8.50 for a 3 course meal!). El Tubo (the key area for Tapas) is also walking distance away. This hotel doesn’t deserve any bad ratings at all! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

The location is in the centre. Very close to the church and night life. The owner said it’s always open just need to simply press the ring downstairs :)

The cost-performance ratio is really good! The room is not big, but tidy. And the bed is comfortable. Another good news, for the people who do not understand Spanish, is that the receptionist's English is really good.

good experience. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The reception is a nce place, makes you feel welcome. Rooms are good and well equipped. The hotel is located at a short walking distance to the city centre and near the main street. Parking garage is at a 5 minute walk.

The hotel was very stylish and comfortable. However trying to reach it amidst the combination of Zaragoza's nightmare one-way systems and the major roadworks surrounding the city centre was an absolute nightmare. After a very long drive we spent a further two hours driving round and round trying to locate the hotel. Having said that our room had been held for us and we were able to get something to eat upon our very late arrival (at around 11.00 pm)

needed a place to rest after a long flight before continuing to Madrid - Urban Sauce in Zaragoza is the perfect little boutique hotel. it was a cosy room but big enough for us to unpack our 2 big luggages. toilet was clean with basic amenities but the power of the shower was amazing. the lift was unique (double doors) so we took a bit of a time to figure it out, wish someone told explained this to us. theres a private parking (tight space though!) just across the street so just stop in front of the hotel and get the friendly receptionist to unlock the garage doors for you. hotel within walking distance of the center of Zaragoza so location wise its fantastic!

Spacious one bedroom apartment with huge kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped but lacked an electric kettle, otherwise everyhthing was there. The loiunge/dining was large and elegantly furnished. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They only negative for us was the street noise as we were at the front of the building on the first floor. Otherwise it was fantastic.

Came into Zaragossa from a different direction to the location finding directions; town was much larger than we thought! Luckily we found a helpful taxi driver who had us follow him to the hotel area & we were then able to follow the directions given. Hotel is on a mainly pedestrianised street and the narrow street & old buildings were very attractive. Eventually parked in the hotel garage, which was accessed by a lift, & it was a 2 minute walk to the hotel. The room was on the 5th floor and we had our own private patio. Room was well furnished and very quiet. Good viewes from the patio of the surrounding area. Excellent towels & linen. Lots of restaurants but book if possible when first looking as even on a Wednesday evening the restaurant that we wanted to eat at was fully booked! We eventually chose an outside restaurant in the shopping area called The Rendezvous and had the set menu at Euro 26 per head (3 courses inclusive of wine). You could easily have shared 1 portion as the amounts served were large! Summing up we liked Zaragossa and the hotel met all our needs.

This is great hotel superbly located in the old part of town and 5 mins walk from zaragozas 2 cathedrals. Rooms are lovely with great bed and bathroom and beakfast is superb. There is a rooftop pool with amazing views of the city and an indoor pool for the winter months

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the city centre. The room had old furnitures but it was silent in spite of facing a street. Beds were comfortable. Cleanness was ok. Price was quite cheap (about 40 euros for a double room per night) considering that our stay covered the New Year's Day period (from 31/12 to 3/1). To conclude: this is a good choice if you don't have any particular claims and you are looking to a cheap room but with acceptable standard.

The room is very wide, ventilated, the bed is also very comfortable, according to the GPS is also very simple to find, the landlord is very warm, tell us near what good attractions, be a good experience.
