The place is a mess”
Check-in time is 12 noon but when checked in at 4 pm room was not ready. Due to a power failure No electricity whole of night in my room & my colleagues room since, the noisy generator powers a room or two only, I guess. Other solo traveling guests faced the same issue as per chat we had in the reception area. Also resultant is no water when wanted to shower and had to wait for 1/2 hour for water to be pumped. further, no hot water when water is very cold due to no generator power, highly over used towels, had to ask to clean the corridor in front of the room etc. They need a generator as priority to cover all rooms in a power cut situation which I guess is not uncommon in Hatton. Staff is polite but clueless about customer relations and service.

Dirty”
Staff were helpful for organising busses.
Dirty room with mostly everything broken. No mosquito nets so was up half the night. Manager is creepily too nice and touchy feely. Wouldn't go back. Especially for the price.

Hotel to climb Adams peak”
Cheap , food prices are good .
it is an ok hotel . The internet is iffy and up on the third floor the water pressure is very low . The Staff are friendly and has a local restaurant in the bottom floor . It is about 35 km from Delhousie where you start the climb to Adams peak . There are hotels closer but they are most likely not tourist class and most likely cater to the local populace . Its ok for a palce for resting after that hard climb up Adams peak .

Just one night stay, offers drivers room (no food)”
Offers driver's room, a lot of choices in menu for dinner, free internet access
Quite comfortable hotel, very communicative manager (maybe even too much :D). There are plenty of tea plantages all around, nice & green, it's in Kotagala - not even near to N'Eliya. It was just one night stay on our way so no problem with that. The dinner took quite long time to prepare, but was very tasty.

Nice place to stay.”
Amazing receptionist and nice manager
We arrived at this place to climb Adam's Peak. An amazing receptionist and a nice manager helped us to get settled. The manager was helpful and gave us a better room than booked one. He invited us to his place, but unfortunately, we were too tired after Adam's Peak. On contrary to most of the places we saw on internet, this place is clean and not too expensive. It's one hour far from Adam's peak. Be careful, at night, Adam's Peak is really cold: don't forget too bring pull-overs and scarf.

OK, no problems. ”
Cheap, location for Adams Peak.
Hotel is just outside Hatton, ignore the 'Nuwara Eliya' in the name. Good basic hotel, clean room, good shower, basic restuarant and a bar for a beer in the evening. No WiFi in the room but it was good in public area. Stayed here 2 nights while I visited Adams Peak. Good clean, cheap place to stay.
