Helen and Antonio were very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating! Pickup and drop-off at the airport was very helpful as well as recommendations and sometimes rides to other destinations.

Cute outdoor tropical vibe, but be aware of mosquitoes!

Barefoot apartments would be the first choice for a vacation on Bonaire. Apart from the location close to the centre and the nicely furnished apartment with a lovely garden, the owners deserve 5 stars for making our stay there extraordinary and feel like home.

Well maintained and beautifully landscaped property, ideal location to downtown and grocery stores, and the best hosts ever!

Very close to center of Kralendjik. No problem to walk to many restaurants.

The apartment was clean and everything we needed was there. Antonio and his wife Helen are great hosts, who will do anything to make their guests feel like home. The apartment is located very close to the city centre and the supermarket. It’s a great place for a welcoming stay in Bonaire.

There’s some traffic in the neighbourhood but it didn’t bother us. We slept very good at night.

we had a great stay at the barefoot Bonaire with the bestest hosts! Thank you so much Helen and Antonio :). Antonio picked us up from the airport and gave us a little sightseeing tour with eating recommendations trough the city. The apartment itself and the garden are even prettier than on the Fotos. Everything was lovely decorated, clean and just perfect. There are mosquito nets on every window, so you also can enjoy the wind inside. Helen and Antonio are absolute gems! Friendly and very helpful in our goal of finding the best places to eat around town. They even called in ahead a reservation for us and snuck in a treat. Also, our flight arrived early so I was worried we’d have to wait to be picked up, but Helen was there holding a sign with our names on it right outside of customs. Every possible accommodation was above and beyond what I could have hoped for! The place was cozy and secluded enough from the other house on the property to make me quite at home. It had everything we needed plus some helpful additions (a coffee maker, a mosquito racket, broom and dustpan, a clothes line outside and many hooks inside for drying our swim costumes) As for the location, it is on a central rode that makes it easy to drive to the snorkeling spots and eateries we wanted to check out We’ll definitely stay here again next time!

The hosts are super friendly and helpful and will make sure you have a great experience in Bonaire. The soft wind you get along the cabin is very enjoyable and allows to enjoy the nice outdoor kitchen and dining area. The Lodge is rather spacious and comfortable. They were super uncomplicated handling our delay in arrival due to struggles at amsterdam airport. You get everything you need in this place :)

The burners in the kitchen could be a bit hotter :) Maybe an additional small window in the bedroom would allow for the same refreshing wind that you get in the living room ... but there is bascially nothing to complain here ;)

This place is a wonderful surprise. Helen and Antonio are great hosts and the property is welcoming and relaxing (love the decor, some of which Helen made!). The pool is so nice, as is the outdoor shower with places to rinse off your sandy equipment and hang and dry your scuba gear and swim suits, there is even an outdoor grill! The outdoor kitchen is really nice and there is an excellent grocery store just down the street (along with several other good stores). The location is fantastic, really close to downtown, just north of the airport. The property has ample parking and is very secure. Helen and Antonio know almost everyone and have great recommendations for places to eat or who to contact if you are looking for something in particular. Crazy but true - the tap water on the island is delicious. You don't need to buy or drink anything else. Also - there are cute cats on the property but they are very shy and won't get in your way. However, they do enjoy catnip and toys so if you have a little extra room in your bag - you might make a new friend :)

The island has more mosquitos than I'd like to remember. Bring bug spray, after bite sticks, and Caladryl lotion for the maddening itch. Also, the sun here is VERY strong .

Antonio and Helen are so welcoming and friendly we felt like home in their beautiful apartment. We really appreciated all good tips they gave us about Bonaire and that help our enjoyment of this beautiful Island. I just can highly recommend this place and it definetly deserves the 10/10 for us. This place will stay in our heart. We are just looking forward to come back !!

The hosts are super nice, friendly, helpful, great! The apartment is comfortable and there is also a nice swimming pool with sun beds ideal if you want to rest after a tour or a dive or a car adventure. The position is good: to go around Bonaire you need a car. That said, the apartment has a private parking spot just in front of it, in which there is normally a spot for the guests :-) , the city centre is at 1km and at 1km in another direction there is the nicest supermarket of the area, but also others cheaper are quite near. It's near a big roundabout which makes easy to get the sense of where you are and to go in every direction. It's also pretty near the airport, so it won't take too long to arrive to the apartment or to get there. The only problem is that you won't leave Bonaire! So I am not sure being not-far-from-the-airport is actually a good thing :-D

The guests are not allowed to feed the neighbors cats, which is perfectly understandable, but it kind of broke my heart ;-)
