Everything was good, the staff the breakfast the location. Joe and Mildred was very kind and helpful, thank you everything! Diana&Ferenc from Hungary
Perfect stay at a perfect place”
staff very kind and took care of everything, room number 5 thumbs up
Good place, stuff, spacios rooms, but without car there is nothing to do. If you go to a beach, the only way you can do it is by car
So much potential, but poorly carried out”
We arrived around 3pm and were straight away met with “are you sure you have a reservation? We are not aware, can you prove it?” Thank god the WiFi was working THAT day (it didn’t for any of the remaining days) so we could find our email confirmation. We were given a room with a “you can probably take this one” The view is gorgeous but the hotel is far away from restaurants so we shopped for some food to prepare ourselves in the kitchen in the common room. Apparently it costs 10 euro to use the kitchen. Weird, but ok. But when you PAY for using a kitchen it should work: the oven didn’t work and the staff asked us if we knew how to get it working (!!) there were no cutting boards or pans, and the one oven rack we could find didn’t fit in the oven. It seems like the owner is probably some wealthy white woman that the poor staff can only leave messages for, and thus can never truly solve issues that guests have. We stayed in SO many nice hotels in the Seychelles- but this was not
Full disappointment. Pictures on portal totally not matching the reality. Extremely poor cleanlines.”
We are fully disappointed. I will never recommend this place to stay on Seychells. Totally NOT worth the price. We booked discounted DeLux room which was dusty, moldy, bathroom was sticky and tea cups were dirty! Not professional service at all. It was a huge problem to make a dinner instead of breakfast which we paid for and which we couldn’t party due to early flight. Location is not nearby the beach.View from balcony is on the trash place on the water. Full of running all over cockroaches and ants and other insects in the room and bathroom.Shower and bathtub were dirty! We were not showed the facilities at all.The maintenance gentleman only told us briefly ‘common area here and there’.The internet was not working at all the second night. We saw him sitting and having a party dinner with his friends and when I asked for dinnwe opportunity he told me the restaurant is there and it costs more if I want to order it here. Moreover room was stinky with humidity and mold. Awful experience.
Ups: beautiful view, nice pool, clean rooms, nice setting for breakfast Downs: mix up and miscommunication from Agoda to advise we were three in a room(all sorted out hassle free), power failure at 3AM so hot night with no air conditioner ( bad luck, no ones fault)
Very helpful & friendly staff but the owner is miserly. No wifi for more than half our stay despite being promised it will be available from the start by the owner. Poor location, few shops or restaurants
Payed with wifi No wifi at the apartment Owner just ignored Never again!!
An amazing place for those looking for calm and isolated restful stay. Great amenities (great kitchen if you plan to cook for yourself during the stay), perfectly clean and maintained, very good breakfast. The highlight being Joon, the caretaker who will help with anything you may need. However, make sure to have a car or another plan for transportation as the place is fare from everything (difficult to even find food nearby). Beware, taxis are VERY expensive.
Beautiful place for a nice and quiet getaway”
We stayed 4 night at this property and really liked it. Its located in a quiet area in the south of Mahé, with a beautiful and wide view over The Anse Boileau from the balcony. Rent a car to explore the Island and to get to the Villa. The room is always clean and thank god, it has an AC. Every morning theres a small but delicious breakfast served with pancakes, toast, eggs, bacon, fruits etc. All in all, it was perfect. But a especially thanks to the amazing guy who cares about the guests all day, he also lives in the Villa and helps you with everything.
BAD EXPERIENCE! Don’t go there!!! Cockroaches, Dirty, no services.”
The view of this hotel is the only nice thing. It was dirty, not comfortable at all. Every evening we came back there were huge Cockroaches in our room or bathroom. Our main complaint is mainly against the woman managing the facilities, and not the two staff members. When we complained about the non-exsistent WiFi, which was among the reasons we had booked this place, the management just let the days pass without any help. They say there is WiFi, but if you are lucky you will have Edge Speed and that also only during the night. Also when we requested help with a transfer to another island, there was no feedback. Much precious time was lost only to hear “we are no booking agency” . It’s true, they are no booking agency, but just tell me that and don’t let me wait a full day and don’t let the guest call you! We nearly missed our transfer to the other island. In other hotels we had no problem with the staff organizing those things for us, as they usually get better rates. DONT GO THERE!!!
The beds are very hard . If you like a soft bed this is not for you . Were charged for using the cooking facilities 10euro per day . This is an unacceptable charge for a self contained stay .
We had an amazing stay at this hotel (although marketed as a guesthouse)! At first there is the hotel itself - with its really large rooms, apartements as well as common rooms, the very nice location with great view over the Anse Boileau, the high-class furniture, lots of terraces, the pool and so on. The bathroom was just stunning with nice tiling, extremely spacious, shower cabin and big bath tub. There even are plants as room separator in it! Then, there is the great staff. Djun and his female sidekick were really lovely and so nice hosts. They are available all the time as they live in the hotel. They even allowed us to use the pool and have a shower at the evening of our departure. Breakfast is very good with coffee, toast, jam, fresh fruit, juice, crepes, eggs in every configuration and fried bacon. Rooms have good working aircon. TV did not work but we didn't investigated further. Said some card was missing. Only the bed was rock hard and made noises on every movement.
The worst B&B”
Upon arrival I was treated very poorly by the staff on duty The room that was assigned to me was not clean, the bedding was very dirty and when I raised my concerns with the staff they began shouting at me in a manner that was extremely disrespectful to a guest. The owner of the property, who was not at the premises at the time shouted at me of the telephone and said I can leave and would not see any refund . I have traveled internationally for over 25 years and this was the first time that I had encountered misrepresentation of the facilities, the rating and the poor levels of cleanliness and hygiene. I recommend that should Agoda continue to advertise on there website I will not be looking for accommodation through this website. I am a seasoned traveler who has traveled to 35 countries in Africa, most of Eurpoe, the UK , the US and Australia and this was the worst experience I had.
Lovely place nestled in the hills in Central Mahe with a nice view of the bay and a great breakfast”
Quaint! Couple-friendly! Great breakfast! Bayview Seychelles is a quaint place located in Central Mahe on the West Coast road with a nice south-east facing view of the bay. The nearest beaches are Grand Anse& Anse Boileau. Parking space is adequate to accommodate cars from all occupant guests. The rooms are clean, lovely & with sufficient amenities; with air-conditioning, a fridge & quaint looking cupboards & drawers. A TV set was present but there was no pre-ready TV cable installed, but who watches TV in the Seychelles! Common to the rooms is a lobby, a balcony with the bay-view & a shared kitchen area. All cooking amenities are present, but it is recommended to ask from the host Mrs. Soni if cooking would mean being priced for cooking gas. Mrs. Soni is easily reachable on phone all day. Mr. Joon and his aunt Mrs. Mildred are the caretakers on the property. They are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They serve an excellent English breakfast!
Lovely place with lovely people”
Huge balcony with bay view - cute lovely staff - big bathtub with a view - very good breakfast. (Only negative point is that you have to pay 10€ Each time using the bbq or the kitchen - this one should be included)
Nice view in Anse Boileau Mahé island”
Nice place to stay, good style, central un Mahé, quiet, close to beautifull beaches in south west coast, nearby restaurant Plume, a very good adress. Luckely I had my rented car. Very warm welcome from the team, great people !
++ difficulty with the manager (staying in Victoria) to make respected what was mentioned on the voucher 1) Reservation of 2 rooms = 2 solo travelers But lots of discussion to have the 2nd one 2)Breakfast included mentioned in the voucher but again lots of discussion to get it. 3) TV present But without cards inside... no problem for us. It just confirm our idea of the manager - quite greedy and not very profesional
Quite little place on the Bay”
Close to the main road to drive around on East Coast, easy access to pristine beaches. Huge place, with a kitchen and BBQ charge you 10 Euro per day to cook, worth the money, you can buy quality fish around for cheap. The staff are very helpful and always smiling when they see you, they put a lot of effort to help you. The beach opposite the villa is a bit rocky, it's ok on low tide. They give you water round the clock which helps, shops around to buy stuff. Seycheels is a must visit place we absolutely loved it 10/10
Location is out of the city those who love calm environment. No proper street light during the night and not recommended to go alone or walk outside.
