"the hotel was clean and well-maintained, although the age is starting to show with some electricity sockets falling apart. had a terrible experience with the front desk over payment - perhaps they are not used to working with online bookings, credit card bookings. had to email several times before the issue was resolved. it was slightly frustrating when on the last day of my 6-night stay, upon check-out, the front desk still asked if i had made my payment. "Decent quality hotel with backup power and hot showers. Nice room but a few maintenance issues need to be got on top of: lift not working, hinges on cupboard doors, fridge not working. I'd also suggest to the owners to install extract fans in the bathrooms as the damp smell is common in bathrooms. 3rd time wife and I have stayed and it's same every time. But those are minor points, the rooms are clean and the food is good and not too expensive so if you have an early flight or just want to relax and avoid traffic problems by the airport highly reccommend it. Needs some nearby competition for anyone wanting to invest in property ;) "

"I booked Presken Hotel, Abuja on a hotel aggregation site and price given was different from that at the hotel. I paid the price at the hotel but more importantly was less impressed by the customer service. Also, bathroom shower head was not working and the room looked dull as some of the light bulbs were not working."
