It is nice to see the Central Station, that is one of the many tourist places. It is about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the old city while coming across many shops.
Near the central station are a lot of jewellery stores for those who are interested in buying diamonds for example. In the city there are different variety of stores, so everyone can enjoy it.
Antwerp is a bustling and beautiful city. If you are there on a Saturday there's a market on the Theatreplein which has a good selection of foods and fresh produce.
I had a Turkish wrap with cheese and honey washed down with hot tea that was excellent. Don't remember the name of the store but it's the one with the really long line - be sure to get there before 3pm or there won't be any left.
Definitely stop off and get some waffles. With the cream and strawberries they are absolutely fantastic.
You will not find a better waffle in the world, what they say about belgian waffles is all true. The beer and the seafood also not to be missed!
