Traveling to Tanzania? Find Arusha hotels

This hotel is a small lodge outside of Arusha, it is very peaceful and quiet away from the main road. It was perfect for a one night stay before heading off on safari. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable with air conditioning. They even laid out fruit and wine for us as a honeymoon treat! We ate dinner and breakfast and both meals were absolutely fine.

One of the better hotel choices in Arusha. Good location, good security, clean room, good internet. The food was okay, nothing great. It is a pity that there is no swimming pool.

I was traveling on my own for business and was difinitly the odd one out. The hotel is mostly visisted by people going on a safari or returning from one. therefore a great place to get insight info from fellow travelers. Christina and her staff are absolutely wonderfull. I arrived late at night and they had food waiting for me. Unfortunatly there was a power out but the staff offered to boil water and bring it up to my room so I could have a warm shower! Christina helped me to get setled in Tanzania by assisting with simcards and information on the region. I felt very safe in the hotel run by all women! Definitly a place I would return for bussiness to pre/post safari!

L'Oasis is excellent value for money. Instead of a hotel room, you get your own private bungalow! The lounge is very relaxed and inviting. The restaurant was a bit empty while we were there, so we preferred eating in the lounge. There are good options for breakfast - baked beans, sausage, bacon, eggs, omelettes, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, etc. The lunch and dinner menu has a lot of Indian cuisine, but there's also pizza, burgers, etc. The prices are reasonable by Arusha standards (approx. 14,000 for an entree). I should note that my boyfriend and I both "required Imodium" (if you know what I mean) while we ate the food there, but that was just our experience. Overall, it is a very good option for a peaceful and relaxing environment in Arusha!

A bit off the beaten track, this hotel is worth seaking out. The rooms were small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The most impressive part was the staff: they were helpful, accommodating, and went the extra mile. They even sent a driver to pick us up from the shuttle bus (Riverside) when we arrived late. The restaurant food was good, too, though stick to the curries and traditional food and avoid their versions of Western food. The dinners were actually better than what we had at a much more expensive hotel outside of Arusha. The food service was slow, though, so be prepared to be patient if the place us busy.

Good location just outside the arusha city centre. Secured entry gate to car park and hotel building. Spacious and clean 3 beds room with AC and fan. WiFi was good. Room rate included breakfast. The hotel restaurant has various menu options, so you do not need to go out of hotel for dinner if you only stay overnight before or after your safari. We had dinner there. We ordered fish, chicken and vegetarian menu options, which all are delicious. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They offered us late check out to 12 noon. The hotel has swimming pool.

A really nice hotel in Arusha. A little pricey, but you pay for what you get, which is excellent service and really comfortable facilities.

We were 2 couples travelling for a 7 day Safari in Tanzania. We chose to stay at Meru View at the beginning and the end of our Safari. Meru View was perfect. Such a warm friendly welcome from Margaret and all the staff at MeruView.. They provided marvellous meals at both dinner and breakfast and catered for one of our parties needs for Gluten free food (Coeliac) with no trouble at all. The location is fantastic as it is not right in Arusha itself, but just on the edge, closer to Kilimanjaro Airport, so access is the best. This is not the Sheraton, but in fact its better because of its location, its authenticity, and the fantastic level of customer service, not to mention the beautiful gardens and the pool are (for the warmer months). Highly , Highly recommend this as the place place to stay in or around Arusha.

outside of the hotel, the road condition is very bad , more than terrible, especially the rainning day, can not step not!

This was my second stay after a week in the bush on a camel safari. Suffice it to say I was welcomed back as family by the fine staff at Korona and treated like royalty. Fed well, and felt like a queen. Given the same great big room, lots and lots and lots of excellent food, and room to stretch out, wash my filthy clothing and get the spiders out of my hair. I love this wonderful little place and the care they took of me both times. I am staying here when I come back to Arusha, no doubt. What a great little hotel, quiet, excellent sleep.

Our daughter lives about an hour from Arusha.... this is the nicest hotel we have experienced. My husband was sick and the hotel manager took him personally to a dr (after we had failed going to 2 different clinics) They even let us have a later check out. while it is a bit expensive it was worth it.

We loved the decor and cozy bed and breakfast feeling. The garden was great for drinks in the evening and all of the food we ordered from the restaurant was excellent. The free breakfast selection could be improved a bit. Overall we were so happy and relaxed here on our first night in Tanzania.

The host is really friendly and helpful, he even helps to book the shuttle to different city. his services is out of my expectation. Moreover, the talk with him is great

First, I was overcharged for the room which I reserved through Agoda. The property manager says they "can't do anything about that". Second, It is on a dirt road, 15 minutes from downtown Arusha - the middle of nowhere. is "no nearby village" to visit . On the upside, the setting is charming and the rooms are pleasant and clean. That said, find a better property in a better location.

Over all the stay was good. No issues at all in any areas. There are no mosquito nets but we did not encounter any bug problems. The rooms have hot water which was lovely. The hotel also offers laundry services for a very reasonable price, which was great since we packed light. Everything was very clean and fresh looking.

Its a good place but when booking, the city tax is included but not shown explicitly in the bill. Natron palace hotel is cheaper.

We spend a night here before going to the Safari. It was clean had a huge garden with some animals in it ( saw monkeys ). Too many insects but this is usually the case with the entire area if not country. Clean and nice rooms. Only wished breakfast options was more.

Excellent food. Free transfer downtown and back. Free airport Transfer to Arusha Airport. They even drove us without cost to a Chinese restaurant at the other end of the town that my girl-friend wanted to visit. You can feel at home - unique!

We just stayed here one night before we took off on Safari. It was a nice, large hotel and the rooms were nice with comfortable beds and shower/bathroom attached. Dinner was very good and filling. Location was ok if you are getting picked up by any of the safari companies, otherwise its not really close to much walking wise. Would recommend.

The best hotel in Arusha. Located at the southeastern corner of Arusha. Within walking distance to most of Arusha. Air-conditioned. WiFi spotty though.
