Traveling to Morocco? Find Casablanca hotels

Basic requirements here such as clean, comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, towels, soap etc. Bathroom facilities not great- no shower head, no basin plug. For its location, very quiet.

I stayed in Morocco for 15 days and I have stayed in other 3-star hotels. Therefore for fairness, the following comments are based on the comparison with similar hotels I have stayed in Morocco, i.e., I won't compare it with 4-star/5-star hotels, or hotels in other countries. The hotel is in a convenient location, this may be the main thing that's good about the hotel. The biggest problem with the hotel is cleaniness. The room itself is not clean. Many surfaces are sticky/dirty to the touch, e.g. floor, table, basin, bath, etc. There are visible dirty sports on the wall, in the bathroom, etc. The breakfast room itself is beautiful, but the cleaniness is un acceptable. The floor and table cloth are both dirty/sticky . There's no big plate to put food in. There're only large plastic trays and very small dishes to hold food, which are both dirty (with visible food residue). The wifi is very good, easy to connect and very fast. I would say this hotel's hardware (building) itself is good/satisfactory, but the cleaniness is terrible if you're used to the standards in European/Asian hotels. I wouldn't recommend it to others, and wouldn't stay again.

The hotel is not new and it looks like that. For reasonable price we got hotel room with balcony and AC, including breakfast. The staff speaks only french, but they're nice. The location is good, near to city center, though the surroundings is not very clean - but that's how the whole Casablanca looks like.

The hotel is of authentic Moroccan style with all its interiors representing the culture and tradition of the Morocco. I liked this hotel and the sleeping was very comfortable with quite a good bathroom amenities. The hotel has a simple restaurant - with limited choice of foods. The breakfast was great and I liked the service of the persons serving/preparing breakfast. When I booked the rate was on discount and kind of okay to pay....but when I tried next time to book it again, I found it was double (over 120 USD), which is certainly not worthy to pay, knowing the location and choices etc.

Actually I just need a short stay after my flight landing on Casablanca at almost midnight then will take an early train to Marrakesh! We check in very late and reception staff is helpful and friendly, room is tidy and clean, and close to Casa Voyager train station, you can go by walk like around 15 mins! It’s relatively grate price for this location, i have nothing to complain with! Nice staff, nice hotel, should be recommended!

We stayed at Hotel Astrid for one night before flying back home to Australia. Our room was on the 4th floor, but we were delighted to find that there was a functioning lift! (which certainly is not the case in all hotels and riads in Morocco). The room itself was clean and spacious. There was an ash tray in the room, presumably indicating that smoking is allowed, but the room didn't smell like smoke. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Staff were great, happy for us to leave our luggage there all day after checkout for our 10pm flight. Good location - 10 minute walk from Gauthier Bain Turc - awesome hamam - check it out!

Perfect location! Right in the heart of the medina, less than 5 min walk from a tram stop (tram is very cheap in Casablanca). We arrived late and checked out very early and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and tidy, getting cleaned regularly and we had a balcony overlooking the little square in front. The Wi-Fi covers the entire hotel and it's very fast. The breakfast is great and cheap. We particularly loved the rooftop terrace which provides 360 degree views of the entire city. We'd definitely stay again!

Good location, near to town center. hotel staffs are good and very helpfull. come with free breakfast but same foods everyday.free wifi internet for each floor.room service is perfect. rooms are clean and neat.

Could smell the smoke from the smoking room in both the halls and room!! Couldn't open window as on main level facing someone's outside space with chairs and table. Blackout film on windows. Got bites on arms and legs maybe from the extra blanket in closet. Should include breakfast foe the price. Room booked thru intrepid tour was better than one booked on my own after tour returning to Casablanca before heading home. Would go to another hotel before I stayed here if ever in Morocco.

My second time in Casablanca. I was leaving early in the morning and decided to stay in the centre and get a taxi for Dirhams in the morning. I heard the only hotel near the airport is not nice and not many places to eat in that area. So I booked here in the centre, which is much cheaper, nicer and lots of good value restaurants in the area. Free wifi is fast.

I liked this hotel very much about many things., but there is one drawback I wish the hotel management to find a quick solution is to provide water in the toilet so that the customer can clean himself, paper (napkins) can not clean it completely.

Super hospitable! Good location in old Casablanca, nice area to walk around and explore. Staff are super helpful at arranging things to do/transportation. Would highly recommend!!

Casablanca doesn't have allot to see but this apartment is situated in area where its easy to get to everything & you can also take a Taxi to other spots as necessary at low cost. Ayoub will answer all questions or concerns at check in & help with further travel advise. We went to the 2nd largest mall in Africa, Morocco Mall , Aquarium & lots of great dining options. The only part about the apartment which is bad is the neighborhood. It is perfectly safe but doesn't look too nice. It has a fish market, Smelly to walk thru on some days & dirty streets at times but once you get away , its completely fine. It does raise concern when 1st arriving though. People are Nice & restaurants in area are fair priced.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was clean and chic and the staff was beyond helpful. It's nice and quiet and in a safe neighborhood. The staff was so helpful and I intend to stay here anytime I come back to Casablanca!

The best choice in our visit to Morocco, I recomened this hotel, it has every thing oyu need ,location is perfect right on the beach ,nice walk it's busy in the night ,the weather is refreshing the hotel is near the city center easy to reach any where parking is alwaysavailable.

Rio hotel did not give good impression from outside but when we got to the rooms found them clean spacious, night time you will find the area too noisy as the hotel is right in the center of shops and restaurants

They picked me from Airport to the Hotel, welcome me with Moroccan tea, take very details about my breakfast schedule and my shuttle to Airport for next morning . Mr Rashid escorted me to room and carried my bag. Treat me like gentleman. Explain details to me about the room. The dinner was so delicious. The most delicious dinner I had in Morocco (start for starter, main dish until the dessert. everything was delicious) , taste like a home cook. They very concern about my needs, I really appreciated that. They treat you like a family. Unfortunately, I only stay for a night to catch my morning flight, but glad I stay there. Well I have no complain than say thank you, and wish for the best!

no chance of a sleep in this hotel. walls so thin we could'nt sleep through the guy next door listening to the telly allllllll night. i complained to night watchman who also was watching telly (loudly), twice. at five in the morning the telly came on again very loudly, i gave up. checked out of the hotel early next morning after a miserable b/fast.

The hotel is a good base towards the other lovely cities in Morocco. It's a business/budget hotel, so don't expect all amenities to be present. However, staff were friendly and tried their very best to meet our needs. Your view is the busy streets of Casablanca and the Casa Port Station. Their restaurant is acceptable with reasonably priced meals. Stayed here for 2 nights for our flight out of Morocco. Approx.45 mins to Mohammed V Airport.

Rama (the staff) has been very helpful. Things in the apartment really taylor to the needs of travelers. More importantly, they always respond quickly whenever I was in need of help. It’s a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel was better than the other hotel we stayed at in Casablanca (Mamoura)- more comfortable, nicer bathroom. After hanging out in the city for a couple days, I bet this is pretty high end. The breakfast was one of the best we had anywhere in Morocco (except at the riad we stayed at in Chef Chaouen); I recommend getting the included breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay at Le Trianon. The staff was very friendly and helpful to give us tips on directions and sights in Casablanca (since there aren't that many). We walked to both the Hassan II Mosque (25 min walk) and the Habbous (30 min). They also called us cabs which was helpful for English-only speakers. Breakfast was standard (bread with jam, omelette, juice, and coffee) but it was appreciated. The hotel is in a central location but there isn't necessarily anything to do within the immediate vicinity of the hotel. It was very clean and safe which were the most important factors.

Need to renew the hotel as many facilities are old. They need also to have a fitness room for a 4 star hotel is it not normal.

Not sure if this is the country standard. It is worst than a 3-star hotel than other countries like Singapore & Malaysia. The guy at the front desk is very rude.

hotel was great in terms of rooms that really spacious and very comfortable. hotel service is impecable. everyone was so helpful that it feels like they are your family member location of the hotel is really central not far from the Morocco Mall and walking distance to the souk. value for money indeed.

It's a very good hotel for the money you pay. The location is exactly in front of the corniche. If you don't like noise, you should not consider this hotel as an option.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Casablanca. Don't miss a visit to the bar on the top floor (16th floor) with an absolutely fantastic view of the city - incl. the mosque and the sea - stunning! Unfortunately, I cannot write anything positive about the breakfast...that's probably why it is included in the room rates...it's not worth setting the alarm clock for!
