This place has delusions of grandeur and wants to price itself accordingly, it would appear. The room was reasonably comfortable, but satellite tv was inoperative and the plumbing was woeful, making deep rumbling noises from the depth of the hand basin when the shower was in use. It also expelled a fetid odour. Bathroom lights did not work independently. R200 for two lamb chops and about four chips I consider extortionate. Also had to argue to have the bill changed when we were charged for two glasses of wine we didn't have. I like the hamlet of Hanover and I had a wonderful experience at a different establishment several years ago. We will return, but certainly not to the Boutique Guesthouse.
