Rabat hotels & places to stay

Have used this hotel 3 times already and I keep going back simply because its great. Besides the spacious rooms it is also a great place to go back to after a hot day of meetings where you can chill out at the pool or the beautiful garden. Restaurants are pretty good too.

The name spells it out - B and B means bed and breakfast and you get nothing more. This place appears to be brand new. Rooms are clean and functional but spartan, breakfast a rather limited buffet. It was though fine for a few nights seeing Rabat being in walking distance of the station, medina and, a little further, the kasbah and is also close to the new tram service.

Conveniently located near city center, good hotel in quiet location. Size of standard rooms is somewhat limited, superior rooms are much better. Breakfast is rather good but restaurant is not the best you can find in Rabat for dinner. Staff is friendly and hotel facilities are reasonable.

the hotel room was large enough to be comfortable, with modern furnishings and quite clean. the hotel staff were quite accommodating, for example in finding an adapter for me to use with my u.s. computer plug. the limited buffet breakfast seemed expensive at over u.s. or dirhams. the elevator was under repair and could only be sent to a floor from inside the elevator, which caused some inconvenience but hotel staff worked with guests to get them to send it back to the lobby after going up to their rooms, or staff went up the steps to retrieve it.the location near the tram line and close to several good restaurants outside the hotel was ideal, and only a ten minute taxi ride forn the airport rabat sale airport. i would readily return to the hotel.

I stayed at this riad for one night and was very disappointed in the design and lighting in the room. The colored lighting was intended to look "chic" but was very disturbing to live with as well as too dim to read anything. I have stayed in lovely riad's across Morocco and cannot recommend this one. We were asked if we wanted dinner and were not given a price until it was time to pay. It was an expensive and average dinner, not at all worth what was charged. I booked because there was a pool but it was very small, only one person could swim.

This is definitely the most beautiful Raid I stayed throughout my trip in Morocco , love the beautiful environment, the food was delicious too ( just that we waited quite Long) the rooftop dinning was great! Most importantly, the tourists spots are nearby.. And my husband fell sick when he was there, the staff was kind enough to provide help, we really enjoy our stay there.

It's a very good hotel overall. The best part is probably the staff. The manager is just an angel. He's been the most helpful and friendly person, full of good advices and support. He can also speak most european languages. He and his staff will make an amazing breakfast, with home made bread and orange juice. The location is also very convenient, right in the center of Medina for easy access to the Casbah the Uddaya, the sea side and also a 10 mintes walk from the train station. The hotel facility is a beautiful and picturesque acient historical house of the medina. You can also enjoy the roof top with interesting views of the city. The only problem is with the all rooms facing the internal courtyard with extremely filmsy windows plus a hole on the top which cannot be closed. The cleaning conditions are the ones available in Morocco so don't expect too much on that side anywhere in the country. Also the water in the shower drain was running too slow and created a puddle. The wifi was good and working well.

It's a very charming place. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The team looking after this place is lovely. Very helpful. We were leaving very early in the morning so missing the breakfast - they left us some food to take with us! Such a nice touch. Highly recommended

This hotel is located very close to Medina, but still in quiet neighbourhood. The receptionist speaks english very well. The room we got was clean with big windows and AC, hotel itself looks renovated. The hotel does not provide breakfasts, but there is a Caffe right next to the hotel.

Very nice and tidy riad in rabat, the staff help us a lot , give us suggestion for sightseeing and eating in rabat. We DO enjoy the day in this Riad !highly recommend

The major international airport in Morocco is in Casablanca. So I had to take a train from Casablanca airport to Rabat. Majliss Hotel stands right next to the central station (Rabat Ville). This is really wonderful, because there is a tram stop just outside Rabat Ville station as well. This hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is standard kind of continental, and again, every staff member is friendly and caring. Overall, Majliss is not luxurious, but definitely good value for money.

Nice and Large rooms , bathroom with enough hot water , and provide basic breakfast. Staffs are helpful , great services. 10-15 mins walking from rabat ville train station, dar located in an alley , but manageable to find with google map . Lots of restaurants nearby .

Booked 2 rooms at this hotel. Requested one room with a large bed. Morning staff said this will be available after and given to me at 1 pm. At 3 pm, a different staff member said she was not aware of this. Air conditioner blows air but it is not cold. Breakfast opens at 7:OO the sign says. The restaurant opened at 7:07am. The eggs arrived at the buffet table at 7:30 am. No fruits for breakfast. An easy walk to the train station.

note that this is an apartment that you will be staying at with the owner. with that being said he is a very sweet man and will be helpful. the room is small but I had enough room if I needed to spread out things. there is a couch and a balcony. it is a short walk to the medina but there are many coffee shops along the way and a few banks. there is a small grocery store across the street. the owner contacts you via WhatsApp and is very approachable and helps as much as possible. I had 0 issues it was a good first stop.

Our room was not located conveniently, it was right in front of dining area -somewhat disturbing when we want to take a rest or sleep as people still hanging out in the area until late night, it also made us inconvenient to open room's (privacy matters), whereby it was humid/moist weather at Rabat in summer time (probably due to near with the beach) and there was no aircon in the room it's a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night in the room. Had difficulties with communication as most of the staffs not able or very little in speaking English, they speak french, arabic or spain whereby we are not able to speak one of those three, although the staffs (especially kitchen staffs) were very helpful and friendly. Overall it was an ok to stay in Kalaa.

This Riad is easy to access. Although it is in the backstreet in Bazaar, there is sign at the entrance of street, also the Riad sent resident a detail guide on how to go the Riad, which is very considerate. The staffs there are polite although most of them only speak a little bit English, but for simple communication it has no problem. The Riad is in a convenient location and accessible to all main attractions in Rabat.

Our stay at Riad Dar Soufa was a definite 10/10. The Riad was breathtaking, such an amazing little hotel, with an excellent location and beautiful staff. I would recommend this Riad to anyone going to Morocco!

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Riad Zyo. The staff are unbelievably kind and thoughtful. The rooms are so comfortable, its quiet and the location is terrific !!

My room was really tinny beside my booking for a superior double room. Staff very friendky. Clean. Contemporary decoratition. Central location, close to most Rabat attractions.

If you plan to travel between cities with luggage this is the ideal hotel to stay since Rabat Ville state is 5 mins walking distance from the hotel.
