Short trip to Cairo”
It’s my first official trip to Cairo , and the location of the hotel is good enough to explore around the city. Facing the Nile , Uber was such a delight to have and to go around to different places. I don’t mind coming back to the hotel again .
Dear Hamdan, Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your Rating and comments. Regards, Tallal Hendy Guest Experience Manager
A very nice hotel with very friendly staff. ”
One of the best hotels. The staff are very friendly and always ready to assist you on everything. I would like to specially mention Mr.Musthafa at the reception, he was very helpful throughout our stay.
excellent for a short stay”
didn't had enough time to enjoy the hotel experience much, as I booked this hotel just to spend a day in Cairo after experiencing other cities of Egypt. I was with my family including my 3 year old baby. In general everything was great. However, internet experience was not very well. It is absolutely value for money.
I only spent 1 night in Conrad, location is great, nile view is guranteed in the private balacony, room is spacious and clean, service is great and food is amazing. Just didn't like the very old TV in the room
Great Hotel and Service”
We stayed here for 4 days, great variety to choose from on their breakfast buffet. Our room has been properly cleaned and nicely decorated everytime we got back from our tour. Enjoyed the pool. We had a great view in our balcony seeing the Nile River.

Front Dest Service are horrible”
I was arrive in the mid night which i already reserve a room for this night and they told me all the room are full and let me sit in the lobby wait until 5 am which somebody did early check out to get me a room. I understand they try to found me another hotel but which is not nice in review. Also the attitude of the front dest staff was bad. When I said that's not acceptable to let a customer wait for 3 hours in the lobby, they said" so do you want to check in or not?". To be fair, they did refund to me on the first night after complain to the head quarter, just feel that the front desk staff not willing to help. But they house keeping staff were fantastic. they did a great job and nice.
What happened in the outdoor pool today. We were lying in the sunbeds and enjoying the sun BUT Suddenly somewhere I do not know, the cup fell apart between me and my girlfriend. The cup is something someone threw from the balcony into the pool. It was a very dangerous situation to think of as a joke, and I was shocked. The hotel said there was no camera to look at the situation. It was a shocking thing. If someone in the cup was hit, a situation would have occurred that I did not want to imagine. However, the hotel says it can not find the person who threw the cup.
Great value for money”
I spent a weekend in Cairo and wanted a bit of comfort. The Conrad has all the luxury of a five star hotel if location is not a priority. It is about 10 blocks from the Egypt Museum and the centre of town. The hotel is right next to the Nile and the "Nile view" from your room is spectacular. But you would have to take a taxi to any of the major tourist sites in Cairo. The neighbourhood where the hotel is a bit run down, so it would be difficult for a tourist to wander about. The hotel itself is super luxurious and the food was out of this world. They have an excellent Lebanese restaurant as well as a Chinese restaurant within the hotel. The buffet breakfast was super and the staff were always helpful. The Sauna and Massage area was very clean and well organised. In conclusion, everything was wonderful except for the location. If that is important, than the Ritz Carlton may be your only choice but that will be double the price. Conrad Hotel is highly recommended.
There was an awful smell in the corridor , Price was not as it's stated in Agoda despite Agoda already added the required taxes , but the hotel added around additional 50$ to the room rate and the last thing is the furniture and the overall room is too old and needs to be renewed
Good hotel, overall”
Definitely the best value hotel in Cairo. Overall the service was good, the rooms clean and several dining options available. The biggest gripe was that smoke from other rooms wafted in through the a/c system which was really bad.
Was fair enghou”
Thr hotel is 5 stars but need maintenace for bathrooms and more clean The last day at check out the reception his name victor was trying to get person in front of me and when i told him it was my turn he was upset
Do not understand the question. What do you mean?”
I enjoyed mostly my stay at the Conrad hotel. Overall ist was good value for money. However, the service of the porter/door-keeper were a pain in the ass. Hardly no assitance in getting help of finding a taxi with meter. Very, very poor service of the Conrad Hotel. The hotel management needs to act.
Fantastic and comfortable”
As Cairo is experiencing civil unrest, we were concerned about travelling to Cairo. I contacted the hotel personally and was reassured that it was not near the troubled area by the CEO of the hotel, and that they would take care of us. The staff were very friendly, we were treated like royalty. No request was too much and we were upgraded to an executive king Nile view room. I would recommend this hotel as it is central for site seeing around Cairo and Giza.
Great Location with 5 star facility”
The room has great view of Nile river, walking distance to World trade center and Tahrir square. However, have to becareful of loiters asking for money. The hotel is located quite far from the airport. One may need to get off 4 hours earlier to avoid trafic jam in Cairo city
This is a great place to get out of this chaotic city. It is located along the nile and close to the action without being in the center of it. The hotel takes adequate safety precautions. The service is exceptional and personable. The rooms are above basic with quality linens. The resteraunt is comfortable and quality food.
Lovely hotel, great service, nice location”
I would certainly recommend it. The only drawback was that the food from room service was not up to standard (my son got a very bad stomack virus and the only food we ate was at the hotel). When we brought this up with the food manager, he was very apologetic but nothing else and we were still charged for it !
Great hotel with stunning view”
I loved staying here. The staff are friendly, and they allowed me to check in after an 8 am arrival. The locations is excelent, close to the museum, Tharir square and Cairo tower. I would stay here again.
Upgrade was good if the lounge is managed nicely.”
I used This hotel for a short business trip. From Cairo air port, it takes 20 to 30 min by taxi. It costs USD20. Near and convenient. When I checked-in, a hotel receptionist offered for upgrade. I accepted it to use internet in a lounge. By the upgrade, I got a superior room, a business lounge, breakfast. The room and the breakfast were very good. However, the lounge was noisy and smoky. For the next time, I'd like to use wifi at room instead of using the lounge.
Hotel needs refurbishment ”
Location is not exactly central , also rooms need refurbishment . Average place .
