an excellent stay.room is nice with lots of wine selections. hotel manager serves excellent breakfast and exclusive vip service. nearby there is good and cheap laundry. A good restaurant next door. with good mussels and red wine pear. Public bus behind hotel. quite a few blocks to walk to subway stations and 9 blocks to sunday market.
In a great location for accessing all the main sites and the happy hour deals are great value, but beware. We booked and paid in full in advance thinking this would ensure the best price. It did not! The rates by the day we arrived were less than half what we paid, and we should have cancelled and rebooked to save money.

I recently booked the intercontinental BA for a 3 night stay. Unfortunately prior to my check-in the water tank had exploded and the hotel was left with no hot water and complete shut down of some of the facilities on the main floor. The gym on the main floor and restaurants were affected. The situation could have been handled better. Not having hot water and shut down of key facilities is a major issue. The hotel staff should have immediately said to anyone checking in that there was no definitive timing of when the water situation was to be rectified and they would help the guests move hotels. Instead, the staff gave some estimates, even saying that it might be rectified within the day. 24 hours later, I made the decision to ask for a new hotel, which was obliged quickly. The hotel booked the Alvear Icon hotel and arranged for taxi transfer at the expense. I think situations like this should be covered by insurance and the best course of action is to be upfront.

Hilton staff were very helpful especially when we were trying to organise things to do at the last moment.Impressed with the late booking to a Tango show where we ended up with fantastic seats. Rooms a very good size with a modern bathroom. Puerto Madero is a safe place to walk if one wants to or a cheap taxi ride when visiting other parts of the city.

The hotel is fine with spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast. When we got assaulted and robbed outside of the hotel, the staff was very helpful with the police and helping us to file a report.

They were all taken. After driving round 4 levels of parking, after a long journey, I gave up and the staff freed up a space by the entrance, saying that they'd been watching us on the cameras and that there were spaces. There are any number of car parks in Palermo, the Dazzler should use a different one. On another note, Agoda needs to make it clear that VAT is not included in the stated price, and charge VAT when charging the guests's card. It's a bit of a shock to have paid $100 and then have to pay a further $20 on arrival, after driving round a parking garage for 20 minutes. Of course, none of this is Dazzler's fault.

The place just felt modern, clean, spacious, etc, so if you're wanting to stay in a nice place after doin the rounds of hostels during your trip, but don't have the money to stay in a hotel, I'd comsider this place. It doesn't have a kitchen area that you can use, but there are plenty of good eateries around about the place. I stayed here twice because I rated it.

The hotel is very close to plaza Mayo and other places that you would like to visit as a tourist.we booked superior room which I believe is the best room in the hotel, big, high ceiling and good view of the street, although a bit noisy. Staff is nice to help to book the tango show and we got the best table. The owner is very kind too. Overall a pleasant stay.

Room not ready at check-in, ancient TV without CNN and other movie channels like HBO, meager breakfast (no eggs or other breakfast foods), no restaurant or bar, no microwave in room, small refrigerator that barely functioned (didn't cool).
Beautiful casa with stunning views of the Andes. Very close to popular wineries, possible to bike to some of them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is similar to most hotels in Argentina, adequate but nothing special. Rooms are big and beautifully laid out as too are the bathrooms.
The location of this hotel in the Montserrat area is perfect for us to explore the neighbouring areas of San Telmo and downtown Florida Street by foot. The staff was indifferent, the room was small but comfortable, the breakfast was great (the best in all the Argentinean hotels we have stayed at) and the food at their restaurant was excellent!

The hotel and location are very good. The room was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the staff at reception operate at glacial speed and were immune to any discussion of the local area. The staff in the cafe and restaurant had a similar attitude. Perhaps if I had more Espanol things would have been different? Perhaps my nationality was misconstrued?

Everything was great, but I must mention how much I appreciate a hotel with large bath towels. Rare to find another feature making the hotel great.

Nice decor and theme in the hotel but when it comes to food - really too basic. Wifi extremely slow if you need wifi all the time, you may want to reconsider. I get constantly frustrated by the slow wifi. Some staff spoke English but definitely not all. The only 5 stars I would give will be the location - which is extremely good.

The Antartida is a good hotel for a few days. The breakfast not too much. The room is warm(good).The owner is friendly and helpfully.The hotel is the best you can get your money.
The Sheraton is perfect in its location. You reach the Iguazu Falls trails in 5 minutes walking, just down the hill. Plenty of great nature trails around and you can access the park early morning before all the tour groups show up. It is so convenient to be able to explore the park/falls/trails in the morning and then have only a short walk to return to the hotel for lunch and a drink on their terrace with a view before heading back out for afternoon exploring. The cocktails and wine were fantastic. The food was good, but not out of this world. Breakfast buffet was huge with many, many options. The rooms are modern and bright with big windows and a balcony. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the falls because they had the availability. Rooms had bath. Wifi internet access was available at an extra charge. It would have been nice if this was included. Hotel lobby was bright and airy. Hotel bar and terrace was nice and relaxing, perfect for post-exploring cocktails. Pool is nice. Spa is fine. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Occasionally you can spot toucans and monkeys that come around the hotel. In general, a very clean, bright, relaxing hotel with a fantastic location, but overpriced for what you get. However, I would stay there again for the convenience of being so close to the park and for the quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
We found the grounds serene with a beautiful swimming pool. The room was excellent and the bed comfortable! Food was good with a limited menu but nice not to have to go out for f you didn't want to. Excellent location to get to all wine regions. They hired an excellent driver for us and we visited the uco valley. Highly recommend!!!

I stayed two nights in this hostel and can definitely recommend it. Everything was clean all the time. The kitchen has a lot of equipment, my bed was comfortable and the room very big. In case I will be again in El Calafate I will ask to stay there again. Muchas gracias!

Mix feelings about this hostel, location was good, the rooms far too small and cramped, rules too strict and not welcoming, owner/ receptionist don’t make you feel welcome, they don’t allow you to leave your bag if you are not staying meaning if you check out you have to leave the hostel, even if you need to leave your bag and comeback to pick it up later.

Great location close enough to walk to the metro too. Staff were pretty friendly and a good size kitchen. However no utensils. Bathrooms need some tic as dated and have planks of wood holding up sink with no locks on door. Beds comfy and clean.

The hostel is great value for money, there is breakfast every morning, the rooms are spacious and there is a big chilling area with a TV, tables to work or read at. There is a big clean kitchen with everything you need. Showers and toilets are outdoors but it doesn't matter because the showers are super powerful and the water is super hot. The location is out of the centre so it's not in the very heart of the centre so if you don't mind being a little out but only a 5 minute walk and I felt really safe walking home at night. Casa Colores is a very comfortable, homely hostel and Mati is a brilliant host.

The lock for my room needed to be repaired. I have difficulty lock and unlock my room each time i need to.go out and enter the room. Good thing is the location of the hostel is excellent with easy access to the downtown and the tango theater. The roof top garden is nice too..
When arriving, the stuff helped me with whatever i needed. the ambient is homey and young. The toilet are always clean and the kitchen as well. The beds are comfi, and my room was cleaned daily. I stayed twice in this guesthouse, the first time I was lucky to get availability for a twin room which was very nice, big and comfortable, with a very clean and big bathroom with bathtub. My second stay was in a 6 bed dorm which was probably the worst dorm of my stay in Argentina & Chile - the bunk beds are in such way that we end up almost head to toes with other people which is not very nice (smells and snoring issues!!), the lockers are tiny for just a few items but not for a backpack. Breakfast and lounge area are good.
It’s not of a far walk from the center but right in front is the bus stop if you’re lazy. You are treated like a family in this hostel and the staffs are all amazing. Highly recommended!

The only good thing about this hostel was that we only had to pay for one night instead of the booked three nights, when we left and searched for another place to stay, because there we did not want to sleep!
It's a great place ,with amazing staff their hospitality is the best thing about it. It was very quiet but it's wasn't the season ,it's away from the town but you wake to an amazing view and tasty breakfast. Scooby the dog deserves a star on in its own right. Guarding during the night and taking me all the way to the bus stop at 5am when I was leaving :)

I didn't want to pay extra money for another room and dealt with it after my trip. She tried to call Agoda for me but she had no international call connection in the meantime. While I tried to call Agoda myself for solution, she finally gave me a room which had not confirmed by another client. Well, I lost an hour to handle the issue, but the staff was very helpful to make me feel better.

I was FREEZING at night. They told me that wasn't usually the case, but it was so cold I couldn't even sleep, with sweaters, jacket, scarf and hat on underneath thin blankets. Breakfast is decent, wifi works, staff was new but helpful and friendly, so those are plusses. I had spent time in El Calafate the week before at Folk Hostel, which I highly recommend over this place (it's clean, spacious, and much closer to town).

Such friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is really nice with pancake and eggs with tea coffee and cereal. Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Nice garden and kitchen areas. Beds were comfy but bathrooms need some tlc need to be updated. I’d stay again :)

Bed was reasonably comfortable. I rated this hostel poorly as I was not impressed by the bathroom or kitchen. To be fair it is very cheap in a good location but I feel too many places think they can ignore other aspects of clean accomodation.
You’re going to realize that you just found the greatest “hostel” (I’m still amazed that it is..) in South America!! The place, staffs, and breakfast are amazing! I highly recommend this amazing beautiful place!!
I wouldn’t stay here again. We were charged the 21% VAT on top of the Agoda pride even though we are not required to pay the tax as a foreigner if we paid by a credit or debit card. I wouldn’t stay here again. We were charged the 21% VAT on top of the Agoda pride even though we are not required to pay the tax as a foreigner if we paid by a credit or debit card. When we raised this with the staff member, he said this was only applicable if we paid by credit card, but then said he didn’t accept credit card payments. Issue was only resolved after we complained directly through Agoda. The complaint was resolved quickly and appropriately by another staff member. Internet was slow and intermittent which made if difficult to use. Free breakfast was average. Hostel wasn’t very clean and our wasn’t cleaned in five days. People in the hostel were awake and loud in the early hours of the morning. Quiet time was only after 2am which is far too late. While this didn’t bother me, I should also note that the hostel advertised that kids weren’t allowed to stay at the hostel, however, there were kids staying st the hostel. Location of the hostel was pretty good. Staff were helpful

In a great location for accessing all the main sites and the happy hour deals are great value, but beware. We booked and paid in full in advance thinking this would ensure the best price. It did not! The rates by the day we arrived were less than half what we paid, and we should have cancelled and rebooked to save money.

Rooms a very good size with a modern bathroom. Puerto Madero is a safe place to walk if one wants to or a cheap taxi ride when visiting other parts of the city.

After driving round 4 levels of parking, after a long journey, I gave up and the staff freed up a space by the entrance, saying that they'd been watching us on the cameras and that there were spaces. There are any number of car parks in Palermo, the Dazzler should use a different one. On another note, Agoda needs to make it clear that VAT is not included in the stated price, and charge VAT when charging the guests's card. It's a bit of a shock to have paid $100 and then have to pay a further $20 on arrival, after driving round a parking garage for 20 minutes. Of course, none of this is Dazzler's fault.

The location of this hotel in the Montserrat area is perfect for us to explore the neighbouring areas of San Telmo and downtown Florida Street by foot. The hotel and location are very good. The room was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the staff at reception operate at glacial speed and were immune to any discussion of the local area. I get constantly frustrated by the slow wifi. Some staff spoke English but definitely not all. The only 5 stars I would give will be the location - which is extremely good.
This is a lovely place to stay, the rooms are just beatiful and the building is lovely, there's a beutiful patio with a pretty fountain and the staff is just professional and hospital. Great place to be in Cachi, and it comes at a reasonable price.

Breakfast is delicious, a good spread with eggs prepared your way al a minute. It was my birthday on our last day and the breakfast team presented a cupcake for me and because we were rushing out, they packed it very nicely into a paper bag with "happy birthday" and a smiley face written on it! The suite is very spacious with good kitchen facility to cook your own meals. The fact that it is situated next to a river, having breakfast in the deck was a great pleasure. It is 10-15 minutes walk to the town. Definately recommend for travellers especially family.

It is so convenient to be able to explore the park/falls/trails in the morning and then have only a short walk to return to the hotel for lunch and a drink on their terrace with a view before heading back out for afternoon exploring. The cocktails and wine were fantastic. The food was good, but not out of this world. Breakfast buffet was huge with many, many options. The rooms are modern and bright with big windows and a balcony. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the falls because they had the availability. Rooms had bath. Wifi internet access was available at an extra charge. It would have been nice if this was included. Hotel lobby was bright and airy. Hotel bar and terrace was nice and relaxing, perfect for post-exploring cocktails. Pool is nice. Spa is fine. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Occasionally you can spot toucans and monkeys that come around the hotel. In general, a very clean, bright, relaxing hotel with a fantastic location, but overpriced for what you get. However, I would stay there again for the convenience of being so close to the park and for the quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

We like to sleep with the windows open at night and not in an airtight environment which you need here to get some rest. Second point: The hotel touts itself as a non-smoking hotel. Nevertheless, there were some smokers on our floor and the cigarette smoke penetrated our room so we had to put towels under the door to keep the smoke out.

Cataratas Hotel, km 4 of Rte 12 en route from Puerto Iguazu to Iguazu Falls, Argentina, was obviously the place to be 50 years ago, and perhaps even ten years ago, but now it is need of a facelift and modernization. That said, the food is good and the taxi driver we got ended up being THE number one great experience of our big South American vacation. If everybody got Silvio as a taxi driver, then everybody's favorite country would be Argentina. When we arrived last week, LAN went on strike and the reception desk had to deal with dozens of new folks showing up unannounced as they were all stuck in South America. The reception desk did a good job of dealing with the load. Breakfast was a pretty good buffet. Dinner was a delight - we had melt-in-your mouth steaks with mashed potatoes. Yum. I was surprised there was not a shuttle bus running constantly from the hotel to Iguazu Falls, but they called me a taxi, and thta changed my life as Silvio happily showed us into the park, showed us what to do for day one, made sure our tickets were stamped to get a half-price discount for day two, drove us to the Brazilian consulate to see if we could get Brazilian visas to see Iguazu Falls from the other side, and drove us to the airport. Without his enthusiastic help, this trip could have been a disaster (and we'd probably be in some Brazilian jail by now). God bless Silvio!

I had the chance to utilize both the pool and gym, which were perfectly satisfactory. The rooftop bar provided a nice view of the Buenos Aires skyline and the drinks were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires.

The hotel is located a quiet side street with an elegant entrance. Everything about the hotel speaks quality and a high level of service. My only criticism was that the buffet breakfast could be improved in relation to amount of choice. The rooms are beautiful, beds very comfortable, the pool area is petite but well managed.
This is a very good hotel in an excellent location in Mar del Plata. Breakfast is fantastic and so were the views from the room. this is the best hotel in Mar del Plata by a long shot. Hotel staff organised a doctor for me free of charge and acted as an interpreter for me. This helped me have a speedy recovery from my illness. I was sad to leave this hotel.

However we booked this hotel hoping to use the swimming pool as when we were there it was very sunny and in the late 20s. However the pool is ONLY OPEN DECEMBER TO MARCH. This is a detail we missed when reviewing the Agoda description. However on complaining to the manager, we were later surprised to find a bottle of champagne in the room with a written apology. Few hotels would go this far over something like this!
What a joy to arrive at this amazing place. After an action packed few days in Bariloche it was hard to leave this place! It has very comfortable rooms and a wide range of relaxing facilities!!
we only stayed for one night during our trip to Argentina, really liked the location, was great hanging out at Palermo, walking distance to all the bars/restaurants! a little loud at night thou but it is part of the neighbourhood I guess.

When opened is beautifull on the roof with stylisch furniture. The area is an office area, good for business but deserted by night (no restaurants near). At breakfast they propose mostly canned fruits or fresh fruits in a sugar sirup. This could me more adapted to international tastes (who eat less sweet then south americans) Staff was great, they accepted us in at 8am and even changed are room to a double in the afternoon!!

The Panoramic has been in Iguazu for ages and has the arguably best location in the city (excluding the Sheraton outside the city). Unfortunately, the general attitude of the has that certain "we don't really need you, we have managed fine for years" attitude inherited in most employees, which is quite sad because the place does have a lot of potential. The breakfast is really nice, but the lobby bar (lunch) is not recommended - it is way over priced and the quality is mediocre. Finally, a small thing, but 5 star Hotels should not charge for WiFi - it's greedy (especially at nearly USD 10 a day!).
Many people would opt for a hotel closer to the falls, but this hotel is very close to town, if you like to explore a good places to eat and enjoy the good wine, do some shopping, I would recommend it. Argentine side of the falls is very safe, and the people are friendly, I felt very comfortable walking around the town, even at night.

Atmosphere in the hotel is cozy and peaceful. Hotel is located at the end of the beach. The walk to downtown is like 20 minutes, but at good weather it is really pleasant by the beach. There are some restaurants by the beach so you do not need to walk all the way to downtown for food. Dinner at the hotel starts around 8:30 and is a set menu. You can get food from bar too. Breakfast is quite typical Argentinian. Lot of sweet things.
We loved the hotel. It´s cosy, very lovely room with the bath in the center of the room - different but cool idea. It´s near the best restaurants and bars. The cementry is not too far away too. Room has free champagne all day and night. If the bottle is empty you get a new one straight away. Room was always clean.
This hotel is excellent except for the bathroom window. They need curtains on the bathroom windows.
