We went for a one night stay to see a concert at Air Canada Center, used the valet at $39.95 CAD for parking (highly recommended) , check in was quick, our room with single queen was on the small side but it made ho difference for a short stay, it was clean the stall courteous. Walk to the lake front in under 10 min!!!!!!!
The hotel is located at the downtown and just next to the Sky Train Burrad Station which you could reach everywhere. Walking distance to Canada Place and Waterfront. Hotel staff offered us free wifi in our room. Cool what's a nice treat. The room is spacious and the bed dings was extremely comfy. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a value-added hotel.

It is one of hotels in downtown Toronto with best location , central to many different sight seeing spots , theatres, Eatons center, Yonge Street. Even check in check out always have lots of people line up, many staff available to minimize time. Room is clean and renovated. Hallway, lobby some area are dated. The swimming pool, whirlpool and gym are up at roof top and a nice patio to enjoy some sun and view of downtown. All are functional with nice towel service as change, shower facilities. We did not try the dinning areas as there are so many eateries around the hotel. The elevators could be little confusing ‘cause each go to certain floors only since the hotel is quite big and have different buildings.

While the rooms are a bit dated, the absolutely perfect downtown location more than makes up for it! A 5 min walk takes you to the Canada Place waterfront (including the not-to-be-missed Cactus Club), 10 min walking to shops along Robson and the music scene along Granville. Plus the Waterfront Skytrain station is 6 min, where you can hit Metrotown, Chinatown and even the airport in Richmond! Our room #735 had an ocean-view balcony, fstv, minifridge, free Wifi, great toiletries, power shower and a comfy bed. There's a bar/restaurant with a regular happy hour and ocean views! Overall, highly recommend 😉

Me and my son's first trip to Vancouver. My husband took us there for New Year's Celebration. Hotel is fantastic with great breakfast. The room is very clean. It has comfortable 2 queen beds with lots of soft and comfy pillows. We had an amazing view of the water, mountains and some part of the other city. The best part was, we had the view for the Fireworks. But the only thing is missing is a bedroom sleepers which I guess not expensive to offer to a guests who paid $1300 for only 3 nights. I would recommend this hotel to traveller who won't bring a car . Restaurants and shops are accesscible even the food court has an access from the hotel.

We reserved 1 King Falls View Suite. I thought we were gonna get 14th floor like that. However, we got 26th floor. It was amazing. View was perfect, nothing blocked both U.S and Canada falls view. Service was good, they were so kind. If I stay Niagara falls again, I’ll decide here.

We booked a room which is facing the fallsview. The view was spectacular where you could see the US falls and Canada Horseshoe falls vividly. The hotel is just minutes walk to the niagara falls and less than 15 minutes walk to the entertainment district. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge and comes with a Jacuzzi bath tub.
Lots of counter space in bathroom and handy lighted, magnifying mirror! Complimentary water bottle was a nice touch. Fun to go to the casino too. Handy to the Canada Line to get to the airport. Or you can take a taxi. No airport shuttle. I would definitely stay here again!

Wew stayed in the Century Plaza Hotel and Spa for 3 nights prior to joining our Alaska cruise. We found the location ideal for access to downtown areas and Canada Place cruise port. An added benefit was that the free shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge starts right outside the door (from Capilano a local bus operates to Grouse Mountain, a short ride further up the road) Our room was very large, comfortable and clean with a kitchen area and the view from the room was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did not have time to sample the restaurant or other amenities offered at the hotel but will next visit.

There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so we were able to easily use public transportation for most of our travel throughout the area.

He switched from french to english without a hiccup and treated everyone with attentive professional service. In my case, since I have never been to Montreal, he spent at least fifteen minutes going over all of the neighborhoods to visit, along with his recommendations for the restaurant and bars in each. In addition to providing me with a map, with his directions included ,he wrote down all of his suggestions on a separate piece of paper. He also engaged other Hotel employees for their advise. great hotel with fun looking lobby. very close to the old city and china town, and there is a museum right accross the street, which i didn't check out due to time constraints. the rooms are nice and the amenities are very good. staff are fast and friendly. checking in and out was a breeze. overall i am very happy with the experience at the hyatt regency

This is the second time we stayed at Best Western and were around for the Grand prix. The hotel is centrally located and close to night life, major attractions. Great area for shopping and close to train station. Would strongly recommend staying here if you are visiting for 3-4 days, cause it is clsoe to everything.

I was with a group of twelve people who stayed overnight at the Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel. We were all pleased with our rooms and the lovely views of the Detroit River skyline that we could view from our windows. Our rooms were clean and supplied with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had enough variety to meet the usual breakfast requirements. We never felt rushed during our meal and were pleased that a server stopped by to refill our coffee cups on several occasions. The check-in process seemed somewhat confusing. Everyone had booked online so the hotel had the necessary information about each person; however, service was slow because everyone had to give information all over again. Usually all that is required is verification of the credit card but the process used at this hotel was a rebooking process that caused a long wait for everyone.
Had a pleasure stay in the hotel. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion are all so good. Regular size blow dryer. Nice and comfy bed. Adequate lights. No garbage's anywhere, people just left their empty beer cans and water bottles all over the pool decks, but there was no garbage in site. A bit disappointing compared to my previous stay the quality of this hotel has gone down.

Booked this hotel at the last minute owing to a flight delay when the airline refused to provide accommodation vouchers, so this was the best deal I could find online. It sufficed for a 1-night stay. The room was not cleaned thoroughly with housekeeping inadvertently leaving a recycling box with some paper in the room. Also, the light placements and switches were terribly awkward resulting in my groping around in the dark for a bit before I found the light switches when I got into the room. Otherwise, the stay was ok. Perhaps with better planning I might consider this hotel again if the price was right. Generally, though paying upwards of CAD$200 for this hotel seemed a bit much.
It is so well-decorated I feel like I was living in a museum. Breakfast is simple, bread and many choice of spread, e.g. jam, butter, chocolate, honey, cream cheese and peanut butter. They also provide maple oat meal which is very local style. But I wonder why they didn't provide maple syrup for bread.

I have never been asked to do this in any establishment where I have lodged, across many different countries. I also find it incredibly misleading that the booking agents mention nothing about this. We had no other choice but to stay there, since we didn't find out about all of this until right before coming to Montreal. Also, the hostel is NOT close to the center of Montreal. To get to the center, you have to walk and take the metro or walk about an hour. The man who runs the hostel is not very friendly, and is obsessive about everything. If you do not wear socks only in the hostel, you forfeit your deposit. If you do not properly sort your trash into waste, compost, and recycling, you forfeit your deposit. If you leave dishes to dry for a little while without putting them away, you forfeit your deposit. Also, there is a security camera watching you at all times. I would never stay here again.
Staying at Hamilton Guesthouse was quite a treat compared to the large and expensive hotels that I had to endure in the USA. Would definitely recommend!

the place is very clean. the bed is very comfortable. the room ia very big. there're so many empty beds in the room, so it's nice to stay in a big room with only 2-3 guests. / the kitchen is very big and it has good facilities. so it's very nice. / the location is very good. / the price is expensive, but victoria is a very expensive city, so i don't have choice.
We had 3 people staying in a family room (2 bunk beds). It's better than a hostel. There were young families staying there. Room was very clean. Downstairs has a huge communal area plus kitchen. There's even a commercial size fridge with sections (labelled) for every room. Golden is also a lovely town.

This is really a French-style hotel from decoration to customer service. The breakfast here is simple but delicious with pancake and some other foods. Everyone are friendly and nice. It takes about 15min to Old Montréal by metro. Just a small stuff because the wifi connection doesn't work in my room. However, I still like this hotel.

Everything was good except I think the cleanliness can be improved. About location, it's really convenient as the hostel is in a walking distance (~10 mins) to the bus terminal (Greyhound and Megabus) and to the VIA rail and Amtrak station. The downtown is also around the area (10 minutes walk), it's just that I personally think there's nothing much to do or see at this downtown. The nearest convenience store was 15-25 mins away (walking). The Falls area is a 30-40 minutes walk from the hostel. I had a pleasant walk along the river. I also took the wego bus from the Falls to the hostel few times. The closest stop for the wego bus is at the bus terminal and white water walk stop (both are about a 10 mins walk from the hostel). In terms of the cleanliness, the bathroom and toilet areas need some improvement. I know it's part of the travelers' responsibilities to maintain the cleanliness yet I think the staff can visit (or monitor) those area more often to ensure the cleanliness is in a tiptop condition at all times. Breakfast were decent. Staff gave good recommendation for restaurant. Overall, I had fun staying at the hostel.
I stayed here twice and all the staff here are really really nice. Clean sweet hostel providing everything, i met so many friends here . The location is perfect, in downtown and along the point Pleasant park and bus station and bars area. They gave me a big hug when I came back second time.
400m from the rail/metro station. Big frig & oven were heavenly rescue for 1kg daily meat eater. Go to the Metrotown The Real CANADIAN superstore, bottles/meat are 30% off than in downtown. Enjoy walking/cycling/tracking and enjoy full-stomach foods.
North Coast Trail Backpackers far exceeded my expectations in all categories. The location is incredible! Centrally located with a short walk to the water and an incredible view! Anne and her staff love what they do and it shows in how organized, clean and well run North Coast is. If you're thinking of staying here, don't hesitate!

I had a unexpected 14 hour layover in Vancouver, and needed an affordable place to sleep for the night. This place was clean and comfortable, with a friendly desk staff, and beside a train station with lots of cabs. Excellent choice, would definitely stay again!
Really good hostel.
Vancouver is a very walkable city and the location of the hostel was excellent. Environment was clean overall, and the staff were pretty friendly. The ventilation in rooms were a bit weak however, if your roommate sweated a lot or the weather was hot, it would took a day to get the body odor or the hot air circulated out of the room.
the owner is nice but the people she hire aren't that nice and they clean up in the very early morning(before the check out time), which is pretty annoying

Pros: its across the street to York University. And there are places to eat on campus. Close to bus stop and subway stations. They do provide wash soap and shampoo for the shower that is located in the hallway because it's a share bathroom. There's no place to store or hang clothes, no trash can, the wall are thin so it can noisy at times, mostly people moving around in there rooms. Some talking in the hallway. But it's not all the time. I only met 3 that is on staff. I think it's run by a Chinese family and they have a male student on staff as well. I wish I met him first when I arrive. The Chinese lady doesn't know her English very well. She will not understand everything you say.

He checked me in, took me on a tour around the hostel which allowed me to gain the most from my time there over 2 nights. It is unusual to stay in a hostel where breakfast is cooked and laundry is done for you, being able to think about one less thing on your travels is an amazing relief. The hostel finds other ways to add value to your experience also. It was really a nice community to be a part of. The hostel is clean, and walking distance from the airport bus stop. Cubicle showers are amazing too.
The HI-Whistler was very nice for a HI, we visited in summer and it was very warm, unfortunately there was no air-con in the room, which made it a bit hot. Also the wifi was a bit hit and miss in the building.

We reserved 1 King Falls View Suite. I thought we were gonna get 14th floor like that. However, we got 26th floor. It was amazing. View was perfect, nothing blocked both U.S and Canada falls view. Service was good, they were so kind. If I stay Niagara falls again, I’ll decide here.

We booked a room which is facing the fallsview. The view was spectacular where you could see the US falls and Canada Horseshoe falls vividly. The hotel is just minutes walk to the niagara falls and less than 15 minutes walk to the entertainment district. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge and comes with a Jacuzzi bath tub.
Lots of counter space in bathroom and handy lighted, magnifying mirror! Complimentary water bottle was a nice touch. Fun to go to the casino too. Handy to the Canada Line to get to the airport. Or you can take a taxi. No airport shuttle. I would definitely stay here again!

We met our friends in town (we are from out of town as well) for a night in the city. The hotel was comfortable, clean and a great location to everything. The next day we had a board meeting just 1/2 a block away (we had no idea when we booked how close it was). Everything with the check in and check out was efficient and easy. However, I think that it is always the staff that ‘makes it or breaks it’ : this was definitely a ‘makes it’ experience. No forced friendliness and everyone just did their job well. We wanted to spend Saturday downtown and took the airport shuttle then the UP train. Wow! Easy peasy and no traffic or parking hassles: 5 min to the airport and 25 to downtown! Last but not least. There is a new menu featuring a couple of East Indian dishes, which were recommended. I would go to this hotel when I am passing by the airport just for the food.

Once I got the hang of the subway system, and tram's it was a breeze to come back and forth. And an Uber was only just a few minutes away. The area seems to be going through transition as I saw quite a few new projects coming to life. The hotel is very quaint w/ an amazing new restaurant that seemed to be a local jaunt. I enjoyed several meals there, and at Wish located next door. Try their breakfast. Our room was upgraded upon arrival to a corner suite, which I felt was much bigger than some people's apartment. The owners of this B&B are so kind and hospitable. From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left it felt like home. The room we stayed it was the hideaway, which was small, but really all we needed. Next time we will go one room up for the jacuzzi. This has been one of my favorite hotel experiences over the past few years (though hotel is not the right term for Middle Beach Lodge). The ocean side view from our room was absolutely beautiful and nothing compares to falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. We stayed in late October, but the weather was really nice and walking along the beach was wonderful. The room is on the smaller side but it's very comfortable and the lodge at the check-in area is full of comfy chairs, couches, tables, and a fire place. The bed very so comfortable and the breakfast was really nice (no hot food like bacon/eggs/sausage, but there was lots of fruit, delicious muffins and cinnamon buns, hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt and more). Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate was available throughout the day and into the evening. Complimentary fresh-baked cookies were provided every night at 8:00 PM. I was pleasantly surprised at the experience for the cost tag attached. I would highly recommend staying here!

When we arrived she made us feel very unwelcome, as we were with our 11 month old baby. We offered to let her cancel our recent booking, but she said we would still be charged. She said we could stay "if we kept our baby quiet". I don't think she meant it as bad as that sounds, but English is not her first language. 3. The patio door does not have curtains, so does not feel fully private as the patios from other rooms are connected. 4. Breakfast is between 8:30 and 9:30. We put out our "ready for breakfast" sign at 7:30, but it came at 9:10 a late start for us
It was a wonderful place to relax at after busy days at a trade show. May and Debbie made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were amazing. Very friendly guests made the overall visit a great experience. Thanks so much.

We loved the convenience of the lockbox at the door and felt free to come and go. We had everything we needed if we wanted to cook or have a meal there. We noticed there were no drinking glasses though. The rooms were clean and we were able to cover windows so we could sleep in.

The rooms were clean and fresh, the water hot and clear. The rooms were filled with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel more like home: nice towels, glass and china cups/mugs, a mini-fridge and tasteful decorations. There were great outdoor sitting areas and it was a quick walk to our restaurant.
We enjoyed our stay. We are locals who booked the hotel for a quick weekend getaway. We enjoyed our visit but would have preferred some in room amenities for the kids, such as popcorn and treats package for a movie night. This would be a nice bonus but did not detract from our very memorable and comfortable stay.
Great hotel centrally located. Outstanding beds in a large confortable room. Maybe the bathroom is a little small. But service is great.

We just returned from our stay in Room #2 and think they deserve a 10, not a 9.7. It was perfect. Our room was gigantic, spotless and sumptuously decorated, including tastefully arranged vases of fresh flowers, a fireplace, a gigantic tub and fluffy robes. Breakfast was fantastic and different every morning. In addition to fresh fruit, yogurt, fredhly baked scones and beads, homemade jelly and homemade granola there would be a main course, such as eggs benedict, a frittata, blueberry pancakes, etc. The owners, Sylvia and Ross, were incredibly gracious hosts to all the guests. Time and again we heard them tecommending restaurants, shopping and activities. Sylvia is the chef and her published cookbooks attest to her skill. Usually after staying in a place for a few days, we're ready to move on. Not so at this place. We hated the thought of being thrown back out into the world after this all too brief taste of paradise. Book a room here. It's a must.

this is a small and brilliant bed and breakfast. the quaint and beautiful italian oriental-ism house was a very welcoming warm hideaway from the sometimes cloudy fall of victoria. the owner and staff were very very warm, welcoming, and helpful. walking distance to the best of downtown victoria, and short driving distance to all the rest. the other guests were a couple on their 6th year anniversary, and another set of honeymooners. it absolutely is a highlight of our honeymoon. looking to come back for our anniversaries for years to come.
The host couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. A VERY nice B&B with organic and locally sourced foods cooked fresh for breakfast. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Would most definitely stay here again. Definitely!

First time we tried a B&B in Canada. We were well pleased with our stay, everything was excellent. We would recommend it to all our friends and also to the Queen of England.
Lynn was so warm, kind and fun! The place was also absolutely beautiful and serene. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.
Cold-hot water temperature control of water in bathroom basins in room 7 was a bit difficult to manage—seemed to be regulated by temperature control in the shower! Dinner was mostly delicious except for disappointing cheese plate.
We stayed just one night but had such an amazing stay! The rooms look directly over the inlet, our room was beautiful and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast brought to our room in the morning was a treat! Such a gem, we can't wait to come back!
