Nothing to complain about here. The usual good standard Radisson hotel. Very professional and helpful staff. Comfortable room. The hotel is a fair way from the centre of Bogota but it is a good safe area. no worries walking about at night. There is an excellent restaurant/pub area a short walk away. It is to the left side of the Santa Barbara shopping mall across the main road.
This is probably 1 of the top 3 hotels in the old town and definitely the best one when considering the price.

I don't usually leave reviews but I have to say that my stay at the Hotel Alfiz was probably one of my best hotel experiences, be it a boutique or chain hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They helped us with directions, bookings and even a police report we had to file for a stolen iPhone. The establishment was quiet, most likely due to the fact the property only had 8 rooms but it was impeccably maintained and located in the heart of Cartagena. I can't recommend this hotel enough and am so glad I found it. I will definitely be back!

From pool to ocean in a few walking steps. The room was clean, updated with a nice tile floor (not carpet that hides dust and nastiness) a large tv screen and crisp white linens on the bed. Managed and maintained well. Impressed despite the hotel being an older building--one wouldn't know from the inside.

Excellent location in old city. An easy walk to explore the city. Excellent value but remember it is Colombia so the room is spartan and the entire property is not posh. The included breakfast was great and the terrace was wonderful. The staff was very helpful but English was very limited as expected. Would stay here again

The location on a quiet side street in the Poblado area made for a quiet and peaceful stay. We were about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Poblado with its lively restaurants and bars, and seemingly very central to Medellin's many tourist sights. Taxis were very reasonably priced too. Lastly, the staff at the Viaggio were amazingly friendly and helpful too. I will be back!
Quaint hotel, in a building of over 200 years in age, Much room, high ceilings, with fans and good airconditioning. Nice bathroom fixtures, loction could not have been better, close to everything
Fantastic little hotel about 15 min walk from the walled city. This really is an amazing hidden gem about 5-10 min walk from the walled city. Location was great, the 'grounds' of the hotel were lovely and the traditional feel of the rooms was a nice touch. Really loved it here and cannot wait to go back.

They lend bikes for no charge so you can ride the city by bike. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants, travel agencies and shops. Many top restaurants were only 5 minutes far by foot. My friends and I stayed here during our first visit to Bogota. We loved being in a more local neighborhood, and there were great options for food and drink in the vicinity. The hotel breakfast was ample and tasty too. I really enjoyed my time there!

Great hotel stay at Ibis. Very good breakfast buffet. I had made a mistake with my booking having scheduled to check out a day before my flight. Desk clerk Hernan did a highly commendable job of setting me up with another night and making sure everything was to my satisfaction. Excellent customer service! It was a fantastic place for us to celebrate our 40 years wedding anniversary. The rooms are very well furnished, the breakfast is delicious and the people were very very nice with us.

The only thing that I was disappointed with was the service. The receptionist tried to charge us for the room on arrival. Luckily I had printed off my Agoda confirmation e-mail stating that I had already paid in full. After some time, she said that was fine. However, when I checked out the next day, she asked for my credit card and tried to charge me for the room again. I had to remind her and she was not apologetic at all. In addition, they also charge for the two little bottles of water that they leave in the fridge and if you come down half an hour before breakfast ends (ends at 9am, we got there at 8:30am) they do not ask you if you want eggs..get there early. The suites itself is in great condition, they just need to work on their customer service.

Other than that, i do expect the hotel can hire more staffs who are able to speak English and provide coffee/tea maker in the room so that guests can help rejuvenate themselves after long journey and or long activities outside the hotel. I would recommend visitors to stay to this hotel, it's small hotel...but it's quite convinient.
We really enjoyed our stay - however, my husband sadly got food poisoning on the last night which was a real shame. It didn't ruin the holiday, however, and I would return.

The rooms are very nicely decorated, high ceilings 2 air conditioners in each room and high end bedding. The food is excellent! great location in the walled city and very good security! Wifi could be faster, but its decent. Very helpful staff!
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. It was always clean, the staff were super friendly, the vibe was cool and respectful, and the location can’t be beat. Oh and it has A/C! I’d definitely recommend it.
The hotel is very beautiful! It is the best hotel in all of Bucaramanga. The only that better than the beauty of the hotel was the quality of customer service I received. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rezeptionists were the nicest dudes! It is a really safe area, although there are not many attractions within walking distance. This is however compensated by a really nice staff, clean rooms and a nice ambience.
Nice, clean Hostel in a very safe and nice neighborhood with lots of nice open air restaurants. Bus station in 5 min by feed, supermarket around the corner and in 20 min walk or cop 5000 taxi ride your in the old city center. If you can choose: take a room upstairs - much nicer!

Enrique the owner has lived here for 10 years. He knows so much about the area and the locals really respect him as well. If you want a an Amazon jungle experience that feels wild yet safe this is the place to start your adventure!

Really all good – I arrived early morning (about 7am) and could already jump into bed, staff was superkind and helpful. Very clean, cosy atmosphere, good internet, superb location!

Hostal Vista Hermosa could be the best place that I have ever stayed at in Colombia (and I have traveled extensively in Colombia) when taking into consideration how much it cost per night. I had a private room for one person and the shared shower. The hostal is at the end of a road in a residential area and so it was quite quiet at night (with a really nice view of the mountains), yet it's only 3 short blocks from the plaza principal in Salento. Contrary to what it said on the hostal description page on the agoda site, they have wi fi and it's a good strong signal. There's plenty of hot water for the showers and even a half decent sized flat screen tv in the room. The funny thing was that when I told some locals where I was staying, none of them had heard of Hostal Vista hermosa. On one hand, I almost hope it stays that way because it was nice and quiet here (apart from a small group of people who came in at 2am one night and who didn't make any effort to be quiet), but on the other, I hope that they get more business :-). I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was polite and trying their best but the room was the worst we got in this category during our tour in Colombia :-( The mattress of our "double bed" was large enough but lying on a narrow pallette. So it was impossible to sleep on it for the 2nd person as the mattress had no support on one part and it was bending down. Sleeping in the shared (4-bedded room) is also an adventure: there were dry leaves on the floor, 2 dirty showers and one of the walls that separates the room from the outside is only made from a tiny pasteboard! - so in windy night it was moving in the wind and very noisy. Breakfast was tasty and the locality seems to be safe.
We felt like home straight away. It's not the best area, but you see the real colombia. Really nice people who did a lot for us and keep everything clean. For this price it's an awesome place to stay.. best way to start our trip..

very nice hostel and property with pool. some of the dorms are pretty small, so make sure you get into the 8bed dorm. they have hot water, a good breakfast choice and a great pool for relaxing after your hikes and tours. as well very welcoming staff, booked tours, have a lot of info and let me use all facilities even after check out.

Also, so many shelves make it easy to put items, making it easy if you are there for several days or living out of your suitcase. Nearby cafes, banks, groceries. Leather tailors, auto mechanics down the street.if you need such while you are there. Laundry available on site for small additional fee. Staff are so helpful---even if you don't speak Spanish, they have a computer translation system which is very helpful. Again, I can hardly say enough good things about my positive experience there.
It is a very noisy hostel. But only because of people who stay in the dorms. The staff is quiet and helpful! Remember, no English again. Stayed here 2 times only because it cost me like 4€ per night.
The staff is excellent, especially if you are not fluent speaking Spanish. From arranging taxi cabs to printing airline tickets, very helpful. Rooms are very small & do not have air conditioning.

We had to shower using a hose head and bucket in the common toilet- we’ve travelled a long time but this wasn’t ideal. Rooms themselves could also do with a little TLC- very dated! Definitely better options available in Taganga
Great location in Guatapé. The breakfast and Thai restaurant were quite good. The dorm was quite spacious and lockers were provided. The only problem was that the bathrooms were not cleaned daily and the hot water was not working in the showers the second day.
I booked 1 night in a tent and stayed 4! It's a quiet location and about 10 minutes walk to the center square plaza. The nature looks brilliant. The tent is only for solo traveler. It isn't warm inside, so it's not a problem to sleep in. Love this place. I'll come back!
The location is so nice. Poblado area is one of the safety place and there are so many restaurants and bars. The staff are really kind and nice people. It is not a big hostel,so you can relax here.
The Hostel is located in the center with A french Bakery over the street. The rooms are nice wirh good Beda, but the walls are thin, so you hear if people talk on the floor. Kitchen is small but functional. The staff is great and assists you for everything, laundry, tours, airport Transfer, Bus.
Fab friendly staff, excellent food, value for money, massive room--they brought in extra beds for the kids (13 + 18) so we could save a bit of money and gave us some free drinks on our birthday! One of the best places we've stayed in years of travelling

We were about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Poblado with its lively restaurants and bars, and seemingly very central to Medellin's many tourist sights. Taxis were very reasonably priced too. Lastly, the staff at the Viaggio were amazingly friendly and helpful too. I will be back!

Fantastic little hotel about 15 min walk from the walled city. This really is an amazing hidden gem about 5-10 min walk from the walled city. Location was great, the 'grounds' of the hotel were lovely and the traditional feel of the rooms was a nice touch. Really loved it here and cannot wait to go back.
My friends and I stayed here during our first visit to Bogota. We loved being in a more local neighborhood, and there were great options for food and drink in the vicinity. The hotel breakfast was ample and tasty too. I really enjoyed my time there!

Downtown but a blk off of the real noise of the town. Easy walking everywhere. They stored our luggage while we went out for a three day jungle tour and kep my husbands medicine refrigerated. The manager has a eye on everything and the staff was bith happy and friendly! Would recommend to anyone.

Incredible authentic experience at Casa Logos! Close to everything, safe and great location. The place is cozy and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious! Everything great, especially great staff. Only two things to criticize: 1.the breakfast (especially the bread/toast) is not at the same level as the hotel is. 2. The room with terrase has a TV but you can not watch because the bed is not in front of the TV, and the TV is not movable

i can’t think of any bad views of this place, stopped here for 5 nights & really enjoyed my stayed. 30-35 minutes from the airport & the area is very safe. staffs are friendly, helpful & speak english which is hard to find in colombia. it’s quite away from the main attractions but their transmilleno buses services here are great. half an hour to town, love it!

The rooms are very nicely decorated, high ceilings 2 air conditioners in each room and high end bedding. The food is excellent! great location in the walled city and very good security! Wifi could be faster, but its decent. Very helpful staff!
The hotel is very beautiful! It is the best hotel in all of Bucaramanga. The only that better than the beauty of the hotel was the quality of customer service I received. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
It was great. Staff was super helpful and polite. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The building itself is incredible. Beautiful courtyard with gardens and huge high ceiling rooms. All is a bit outdated but I think that added to the 'Old World' feel. One issue were the plug air refreshers. Either take them out or replace with aromatic natural oils.
We booked this hotel because it was a late trip and very few options were available. The room is nice and the staff is very professional and helpful. The location is also great. However, once we went around we realised that we could have booked a much better boutique hotel and around the same price. Probably with a pool and other facilities.

It was a solid 3.5 I’d say. You simply cannot have a 5 star for under a couple hundred dollars a night, and this hotel was around $60
The room we stayed in is clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is situated in a great location (within less than a minute walk to the main strip) but far enough from the noise. Staff members are polite and helpful with any requests. Included breakfast was amongst the best we’ve had on the trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the Park 10. It is in a very good location in close walking distance from some great restaurants (eg, Carmen). The staff were all very nice and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I feel the hotel is a little dated and the rooms are probably due for a refurbishment but overall a nice stay.

Facilities are modern & clean. The staff is very helpful for whatever you need and there is usually at least one staff member at the desk who speaks English. Breakfast and coffee are delicious as well as dinner. It was a taxi ride from the town square, but I was still very pleased since there was some shopping close by.

Any issues were dealt with quickly and most food and drink items that we asked for they would get for us. The only downside to our trip was that we arrived at 5am and there were no rooms available (partially our fault) and we had to wait in the lobby which was extremely cold until we went out in the morning. However the staff did offer us coffee and probably would have given us a blanket if we had asked. In spite of this I love this hotel and couldn't recommend it any higher. If I was to ever return to Bogota I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
