Actually, bus route no. 88 would be a better choice if you come from the airport. It stops right exactly at the main door of the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. However, I don’t know why they didn’t include €4 city tax in the agoda bill.

Nice hotel in the new part of the city, bus stop one way outside the hotel, never a problem to get a taxi. The staff was pleasant and spoke good english.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and ordered my partner and I several taxis which arrived quickly. We almost had a great stay but it was just bearable due to the heat of the room. The room was cool enough but within 10 minutes of the aircon going of it started to become uncomfortable.
The only thing i can complain is about bed. When i booked this hotel i demanded large single bed to sleep with my girlfriend together. Instead of this i got 2 small seperate beds... it was zero comfort to sleep like this.
Our stay here was was lovely. We had planned to stay in another hotel in another part of town, but we couldn't go past this one for the name. It was a very sentimental stay back in my birth town, one for which I will never forget.

In fact, it was the best breakfast I ever had in the Baltics (even the radisson in Tallinn fell short of this) and the selection was very extensive. Location-wise, it's within walking distance to the old town..that is if you don't mind walking. It wasn't an issue for me as I thoroughly enjoyed taking walking along the river to and fro the hotel. Vcups is just literally opposite and there is another huge shopping centre about 5-10 minutes away. For a lot of people in my tour, the highlight was the bar at the top of the hotel which, at night, had spectacular view of the city (almost a 360 degrees view).

i was put in a kind of annex around the corner and it was quite good. quiet, spacious but lacking a chair and table. what the inside of the hostel is like, can't say. some of the staff have no english, but they were helpful and polite

Definitely the best value for money hotel in Vilnius and for sure i will come back again next time.

Artagonist Hotel is on the main street of the old town, halfway between Cathedral Square and Town Hall Square. We could people-watch from our bay window in room 304.
The heating in the room didn't work, so we had to use an electrical heater. The room was big and twin beds were nice. The room had lovely decorations. The kitchen has a nice sound system with good music playing which you're free to turn on or off. The woman at the reception did her best to make my stay enjoyable.

In general, I was very satisfied with my choice of Europa City Vilnius hotel because of the great balance of the price that I paid for it and the quality of service I received. Comfortable furniture and cosy bathroom are things I remember with utmost pleasure. I will certainly return to this hotel.
The hotel located next to the bus terminal. Local busy stops is downstairs and it’s easy to go tourist spots by bus. There is also a supermarket next to the hotel and a big shopping mall which is not far away.

Everything you could want from an airport hotel.
Clean and cozy hotel located at town centre. You can go any scenic spots within a few minutes walk. Free parking is a bonus to the apartment. Staff are kind and willing to help. Don’t miss the aqua park and spa in the wellness centre.

We stayed only for one night before leaving Lithuania, HI Vilnius was a very good hotel, spacey rooms and comfortable beds. Wifi is free and the staff is very kind!

Don't rely on the hotel restaurant for food, it is fairly poor quality. The rooms have aircon and a fridge, but neither of them worked. On the plus side, you are located on 10 mins walk to the old town, and about 15 mins to the new town.
Given the price of this room, I was very happily surprised with the room, hotel and staff. The train station and the main bus station is a 5 minute walk away with if very convenient if you are arriving by air. The old town and the city centre is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Nothing fancy but does the job!!
Great stay. Exactly as advertised. Cheap and fully functional and in a great location. I would easily stay here again.

Since I returned my electronic device for the front door, she was supposed to open the door to let me out, I think? (correct me if I am wrong) she didn't bother and I had to use the cafe exit eventually after several failed attempts to get her open the door.

Lockers are available, and the main entrance uses an electronic key card, but the door frame wobbles and seems a though a good kick could utterly destroy it. WiFi is available, and seemed pretty decent.

I really like this hostel, the atmosphere is quite good and the staff (Anastasia) is very helpful. The bed is comfort and shower is good. This is simply the best located hostel in Klaipeda as most of the buses from other city stop right at the front door! Highly Recommmended.

Of course it would be fine if it worked. However they didn't tell me that they'd change the pin every Monday and their staff on duty left early on Monday night so I had no access to the hostel. There was no # outside the hostel to call for help. I thought I would have stay out all night. I was lucky enough, somebody with an electronic device returned, after waiting for half an hour. I told them what happened next morning and asked if they could treat all guests fairly & the lady on duty apologized and said No because dorm bed guests paid less. To me people pay more for privacy (less beds or twin room) and they should have the equal right into the property.

You enter using codes you get after booking your stay. Wi-Fi is not great in basement dorm room but fine in the sharing living room.
Our booking was canceled (after overbooking) but the manager of the Pogo Hostel, did everything possible to find another place for us to stay and even gave us a lift to the new hotel. We really appreciated, it was really kind from her and for sure I would go to Pogo Hostel next time I'll be back in Vilnius... The place is so well maintained and located!

I stay in hostel to save cost and you ask me to ring international number to get in? I walked to the police station not far away to ask where public telephones are, they kindly helped me ring the hotel...

So by the time I got back someone was there. Then I was told the room wasn't paid, so they punched in some number I don't know on their credit card machine. I was under impression they were charging me for the night. Anyway, after I could access the internet I found out I already paid. I emailed them they said they didn't charge me but instead they were charging Agoda. Who knows I guess I will have to check my cc statement again in few days time. Toilet light would just go off when you are taking a dump. I mean can't you just have a normal light?

Value for the money, everything is fine. If you book single room at the top floor, one minus that you'd have to crunch while trying to use the toilet (or do it sitting down). But this is not an issue at all since they have single room price at less than 50% price of a normal double. Value for money for sure.
Bus station and the old town within walking distance. Supermarket and an indoor grocery market nearby. Triple room was comfortable except the smelly carpet. Good for travellers requiring basic accommodation.

It’s like staying in a lovely boutique hostel with private en-suite. Room clean and cosy, bed comfy. No breakfast suited us as we didn’t have to get up early. Shared kitchen has everything and we can make tea coffee do food anytime. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back and stay again if visit Vilnius. Thank you all.

Although the hotel was great value for the money and is very much suitable, when just having a short stop for a night while in driving through the area, there were a few peculiar details that caught my memory - the the double bed was kind of hollow on one side and the blanket on the bed was barely enough for one person, but definitely not for two (and we both weigh just between 60 and 70 kg, so it really was not just a specific personal issue:)) and although the latest check-out time was at 12, then some quite noisy repair work started around 8 o'clock in the morning and at about 10.30 the cleaning lady knocked on our door and called our attention that it was the highest time for us to leave (and she did not appear to understand a word, when we tried to explain in English that there should still be some time until time gets close to 12).
I have stayed with the family. So all in all, there were 4 of us. I slept with one kid and my partner with another. In Lithuania single beds are narrower than in other countries, so it was really uncomfortable to sleep. If I was alone sleeping there I guess I would be happy, especially for that price.Staff was extremely nice and friendly!

Although the landlord was helpful enough in finding us a suitable room, we were dumbfounded by the standard of cleanliness. The sheets smelt of urine and were covered in stains, and even the closet did not have any thing that could be deemed 'hygienic'. Also, the floors and toilet area...

Also, the floors and toilet area were not kept to an appropriate standard, which was disappointing, as the location was excellent and provided easy access to the main town centre. Finally, it was not a good idea to have the construction worker greet us, as his hospitality wasn't nearly as acceptable as the owner's. If it hadn't been for the landlord making a prompt arrival, we would have been left to find an alternative.

It was a very fantastic hotel in a very strategic location. All the main tourist attractions are just within walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. I was staying on the top floor so the view was quite nice from the window. Breakfast was good as well and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a market/convenient store just behind the hotel. Many shops like H&M, Zara, etc. just next to the hotel. Definitely the best value for money hotel in Vilnius and for sure i will come back again next time.

We stayed only for one night before leaving Lithuania, HI Vilnius was a very good hotel, spacey rooms and comfortable beds. Wifi is free and the staff is very kind!

hotel is located some distance away from the old town or the train station, but the helpful staff will kindly arrange a taxi to the airport or train station at a very reasonable price. room is big and spacious. downside is the weak wifi reception in the rooms which disconnects regularly. for the price of the stay, this hotel is highly recommended for its value.

The hotel was just a few minutes walk to the train and bus station. It's also close to all the major site seeing spots. Although the room was a bit small, it has sufficient equipment for travellors. I think it was a good deal.

Smiling staffs, very affordable food and nice selection of wine. Clean rooms and nice soft bed. Located along a lake. Near two park good for jogging or strolling any day.

It was a 3 story walkup though,without an elevator, so if mobility is a consideration, one should indicate specific needs, with the booking contingent on the hotel being able to fulfill them. Vilnius in general, with many cobbble stone streets, would not be easy to negotiate in a wheelchair. Bathroom was clean and completely functional. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide assortment of food, and well prepared baked goods.

Shakespeare is a nice hotel with a difference. Certaily you will remember your visit there. Located in the old city of Vilnius offers a wonderful experience. The staff are very nice and they make sure that you know, that they are there to help you. The hotel selected to be called Shakespere and they have done their best to justify the name. My room was small and I must say not so comfortable but it was well equipped. The bathroom however had a shower unit and not a bath tub, a 4* star hotel requires a bath tub but never mind. The rooms at the Shakespeare have no numbers, instead they are named under the names of famous writters. It really makes the hotel more interesting especially as in my Dostoyevski room there were Dostoyevski's books. The breakfast was also excellent. The choice available and the service made the experience extra wonderful.

And the hotel reception staff were especially helpful as well, they helped me to print a travel document I needed (FOC) and they provided me with a kettle at my request! Really enjoyed my stay here.
we arrived late. Guests must check that reception working till 23:00. Only disadvantage was- restaurant closed at 18:00, but was written- opened till 23:00. We wanted to take late dinner with wine in the hotel garden. Rooms are very spacious, in our rooms were kettle with tea and coffee. Very clean. Free Wi-fi, working very well. Parking available. Very good location.

I would recommend this hotel because it's quiet, not too far from the city center (though it's at least a 10-minute walk). There's a large supermarket nearby that's open 24/7. The rooms are quite nice and the hotel is a good value for what you pay. Taking a cab to the center is pretty cheap, so the location isn't exactly too bothersome. Staff were friendly too.

The Hotel is rated as 4 stars, it is far away from 4 stars. dinner was o.k. but..., breakfast was poor, we had to order the food in advance, the evening before, and still we did not got our order.
We stayed in the one bedroom apartment. The place is quite nice and big. Has all the amenities that are needed and they are maintained well. A minibar is available. The breakfast served is great and we would recommend. Was disappointing that the tea and coffee were not complimentary and like other things in the mini bar had a charge.

Even washing powder is provided in the toilet!

We were offered a free upgrade but without any smoking option which was the reason for booking the room with a balcony in the first place. Im sure with a little work , could be close to getting high marks all round.

Small, with no view Otherwise it's a decent hotel, in a fab location, an ok gym/pool/wellness area (open plan) Reasonable breakfast If taking an Uber remember which Radisson it is, as we were taken to the other one, which the driver insisted was in the Old Town, it is not

Our booking was canceled (after overbooking) but the manager of the Pogo Hostel, did everything possible to find another place for us to stay and even gave us a lift to the new hotel. We really appreciated, it was really kind from her and for sure I would go to Pogo Hostel next time I'll be back in Vilnius... The place is so well maintained and located!
