really it was one of the best hotels in malaysia, very nice staff, smiling all time. lobby v.very nice music was great,lastly advising any body to try this hotel with no hesitation. and if i will go back to Kuala Lumpor i will chose this hotel and it will be through AGODA. the location was excellent around shopping malls, Bank, many resturant and Arabic resturant. concirge helped me alot in arranging my toure iside the city and even out side it.

We loved and enjoyed our stay in the resort. We booked 2 rooms and requested for a connecting one. Checked-in was really great as they did it inside our room! I forgot to get the name of the staff. Service was great. Our kids enjoyed the facilities of the hotel. Most especially the pool with slides! Food was okay since we are not used to Malaysia cuisine. The only downside of the hotel is the beach. I tried to go to the beach and swim but it is a bit rocky and there were a lot of Jellyfish. I even got stung by one. Luckily we did not let the children swim in the beach. We hope they can think of a way how the guest can swim or go for a dip in the beach. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend it!

We've stayed at a few resorts in Malaysia/Asia now and overall we consider this to be the best. We got a great last minute rate on Agoda (including full buffet breakfast) for a king room with golf view (large windows overlooking a really nice golf course). The room was clean and comfy and came equipped with all traveller essentials and luxuries (including iron and ironing board which I often have to specifically request). The toiletries were extensive. Breakfast was adequate. The staff were professional but not too attentive (in a good way - we don't like being fussed over too much!). The hotel has an hourly shuttle bus that runs to and from the city centre, avoiding the need pay for taxis. The swimming pools were all enjoyable and we picked up some excellent, extremely inexpensive souvenirs from the gift store. For dinner, there are many restaurants to choose from, our favourite being "Spice Island" serving a fusion of Indian/Malay. Here, we ate probably the best hotel food we've ever tried. Unfortunatelty the poolside and cafe food for lunch are not as good value for money or tasty. Sabah is such a great holiday destination and we'll definitely be telling our friends about The Pacific Sutera and maybe even return ourselves.

Hatten Hotel Melaka delivered way over my expectations. I was worried about parking during school holidays. But we had no issue with lack of parking space. Because the carpark is shared with mall patrons, we locked our car with bar lock and noticed surrounding cars did the same. Booked deluxe suite with interconnecting rooms, fantastic for extended families. And each room came with two flat screen TVs and a large bathroom. Everything was clean and new and bed was very comfortable. The only grouse was the breakfast.. Main dining super crowded and had to queue. However, a ballroom was used to manage the spillover with good and sufficient food which they promptly topped up. I have to commend on the service of the managers at the main lobby. All were enthusiastic to help and especially Jimmy Lee who came to assist in our safe which couldn't open for some reason. For malaysia hotels, it is very rare to see such professionalism in hotel staff, especially when the rates were halved those of equatorial hotel, yet newer, better facilities, better gym and cleaner. Will definitely come back to Hatten when I visit Melaka again.

We had a really lovely stay at the Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they were always at hand to answer our questions. We stayed in a Garden View room, which was great, the room was always kept very clean and had all the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The recreational facilities of the hotel were also really great, there were numerous pools to choose from, as well as a private man-made beach. Being part of the Sutera Harbour resort also allowed us to use the facilities of the Little Magellan complex and the Pacific Sutera Hotel, both of which were only a short walk away.

This was my 2nd visit to Malaysia but with a child under 18 months old,I wanted a resort type hotel with everything nearby. I got upgraded to suite due to a problem with my booking which was not my fault and the reservations manager was excellent.This is a great place for bringing kids because everything is within the complex. Having a shopping centre next to the hotel was a bonus my wife loved it. The swimming pool was great and the views were out of this world. I am so happy I did not book a hotel in KL as i wanted a relaxing holiday and not really bothered about sight seeing. I will be coming back to this hotel in the future. The staff went over and beyond whenever i required anything. It's a 5 star hotel but prices are UK 3 star and that's the main selling point for me. This hotel was great. Malaysia is a muslim country so would recommend bringing a couple of bottles from duty free as beer and spirit prices are London hotel prices at the hotel. The shopping centre has all UK and American main food outlets like Nandos,Pizza Hut.Don't bother buying electical goods as cheaper in UK but designer glasses are cheap as well as t-shirts .

The hotel is in an ideal location for both business and shopping. The breakfast provided are well spread with good choice of food. The rooms are well equip with free internet connection. Not many hotel in Malaysia give this free of charge. TYhis allows one to stay connected when required. The hotel is situated in an location easily accesible to spirint express to go to IUtama or to go to Seremban highway going south.

The stay was good. Although we love our room, a leak at the roof forced us to changed room to the beach side unit. The beach side unit was not as clean as the first 2nd-storey unit. Staff were friendly, but they could improve a bit more on response and staff-to-staff communication. Unlike many hotels in Malaysia, this hotel is generally well-maintained. We were happy we chose Meritus Pelangi compared to some other hotels out there along the beach.

The hotel is strategically located and easily accesses to most shopping areas, eateries except for the bigger malls like Imago, Suria can be a bit far but cabs are readily available. The hotel should consider internet access as a common standard offer in hotels these days due to advancement in information technology. It will be nicer if you add a hidden cost in the room rates rather than providing a separate optional costs should one requires internet or requesting the guest to be a member in order to use the internet. No one will choose to stay in a 5 star hotel expecting there will be no internet available or to be charged separately as it is being offered as an optional facility. If this makes sense. All in all is a very comfortable hotel. Standard 5 star quality!

Spent a week in the spa suite apartments for the family and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The location was ideal for those seeking to get away from the busy city, while still remain close to amenities. We rented a car at affordable rates from a local car rental company, and used a mobile app called WAZE to get around - driving around was easy since the app had the most accurate and up-to-date information. Having spent 7 days in the resort, we got around easily to the local restaurants for the best seafood - very cheap and fresh. Check out Gayang Restaurant and their cheap and fresh lobsters and crabs. Convenience shops like 7-11 were everywhere and there is a large supermarket called GIANT just 10 mins from the resort (google "Taman Indah Permai"). Our younger son (age 5) caught a cold and there's a very good and experienced paediatrician called Dr Jeffrey Soon about 30 mins drive away (Lot 66, Lrg Zirafah 10A , Taman Layang Layang , Luyang, 88300 Kota KInabalu), where we got him treated. Around the resort, there's a gorgeous golf course sandwiched between the mountain ridge and the beaches. And there's also a water theme park called "Lagoon Park", where we spent a day with water activities. Generally, while the resort may be about 45 mins drive from the city, there are enough facilities and things for my family to enjoy. The hotel staff were extremely prompt in their responsiveness to our requests (extra towels, utensils for cooking, etc). Very warm and friendly. The stringent security checkpoints also made us feel safe and secure throughout our stay. We had a good deal for this booking via Agoda. Paid for the price of a 4 star hotel but it really felt more like a 5 star. Highly recommended for couples looking for a private place as well as for families looking to get some peace and quiet.

A great place to stay in Georgetown. Only 10 minutes walk away from Penang Road and the Georgetown Heritage area, so you are shielded from the noise, pollution and business of that area. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is among the best among hotels in Malaysia. There are two pools and both are big enough to cater for everyone. There's also a free boat shuttle to Straits Quay. Room amenities are great too. Stayed at the new wing.

Boom for 1 night and ended up extended for 2 nights in this hotel. This is my honest review and im soo loving it! The room is very spacious, all brand new furniture, got bath room, fully equipped and even got aircond. Stay in highest room for hotel (27th floor) and our room got best view! Looking over the mountain. The room got TV with selection of movie. They even put ur name on the TV when u first turn it ON. Complimentary 4 mineral water and 4 cans of cokes and sprite. The bathroom is all new. They got hair dryer, iron iron board, kettle, got table lamp, got mini fridge and also got safety box (that is functional) Room is 5 stars! Breakfast like a queen! Got so so so many choices of food and its incld in the fee. Breakfast with a mountain view. The even find u table to sit beforehand. Breakfast is 5 stars! Pool was awesome! Swim in evening and night up to 10 pm The water so controlled by the heater and nice view! I love the pOol! 5 stars They provided free shuttle to first world (which u can avoid finding parking and save u from parking fee) You can awana cablecar to GPO, then eat dinner before coming back to hotel. Drop and pick up in front of starbucks! The location is quite far from other. If u got car then thats fine. If not. Just use the free bus shuttle (new bus) Service is tip-top! Since the hotel is just open for a year, so, as expected, all the service was good, awesome and my best hotel stay so far in overall! Definitely will stay here if im in GH! Please avoid First World as it is too crowded with people, unless u want to go to the indoor theme park and easy to find dinner. P.s : the food trucks in front of hotel is sooo good! Please try the kebab and roti john! Awesome! This is my honest and longest review of a hotel in Agoda! Keep it up! 😍😍😍

Perhaps the most positive hotel experience I've had in Malaysia. Everything worked the first time and the room was of a very high standard. Will revisit this property again in the future. Beach is very nice and there are plenty of staff around so you don't feel abandoned like you can in so many hotels in Malaysia. Best hotel experience I've had in Malaysia. Recommended!

I was staying there with my husband for 2 day, consider was the first trip after we married so we called it pre- honeymoon. I send email to the resort 3 days before we arrived for some queries but no respond, was disappointed and commented on tripadvisor.com. But the way when we arrived and checked in, the Friendly receptionist called the floor manager to attend to us and he straight away apologized to us and explained he did not receive any email. He was so sincere and answered all the queries that I intent to ask. By knowing we were having our honeymoon he arranged free upgrade to delux room and provide breakfast to us for 2 days! We took the free shuttle to Klcc at 2nd day morning and back to hotel ard 7pm, we was surprised by a cake with honeymoon wording infront of our nice bed!! We was really appreciated the hospitality and sincerity by the friendly and customer orientated staffs! This is one of the best hotel in Malaysia which is worth to go and value for money! Will go back again definitely!

The location is the biggest draw, of course, with Pavilion only being 5 minutes on foot, but the staff is also exceptionally welcoming and helpful. And for once this even included the reception on check-in and out and the front desk throughout (in most luxury hotels in Malaysia the receptionists are far sub-par and too busy with their own importance in the scheme of things, NOT here!). The newly renovated lobby is a bit Jazzy and certainly makes for a refreshing change from the all-the-boring-same most hotels seem to be wasting a fortune to look like these days. So, if you don't want to break the bank, but still want a larger than normal room arrangement in a great location, the Dorsett may well be it for you, too.

evergreen laurel hotel penang was a great experience when we arrived in penang, malaysia. hotel staff was prompt and helpful on providing us with accurate information about travelling tips. clean and up-to-standard hotel. breakfast was nice though some waitresses were too anxious to close up breakfast stations. breakfast timing till 1030hrs but you see them packing up from 1000hrs, pretty loud as well... if you come in at 0945hrs, they did not bother to set table up for you...that's the only shame... other than that, it was great!

It was a pleasent stay, good deco, courteouse staff, comfortable bed, relaxing enviroment. Location wise it is great, with all the great choise of food selectiom within walking distance of the hotel. Because of the location, traffic is hectic most if the time, so its best to take "Grab" out from Amari and meet your friend somewhere else, because it may take longer time for your frend to come pick you up with the hectic traffic. The pool view room window is way too close for comfort with the opposite apartment, literary can see into each others room clearly. The in room safe is not mounted down to something, and its lightweight enough for a teenager to just pick up the safe. For a 5 star hotel, these can be improve upon. The toilet mini soap holder and cup is the transpatent plastic type, which agian; for a 5 star hotel seems kinda odd. Pool is kinda small but nice, because its not always pack; so one can enjoy by the pool side relaxing. Overall, i would recommend to stay here for friends and relative. Above mention just play to personal prefferenfe and impression. For location, price, and reknown wise; Amari JB is a choise to look at for lodging in JB.

We booked a seaview suite which is very spacious and has a wonderful view over the pool area and the ocean.The room also had the priveleges of using the private Kings Club Lounge with a gourmet breakfast, high tea (delicious) and a cocktail hour with canapes, plus refreshments all day long. The real bonus of these priveleges was the outstanding service we received from the staff in the Kings Club Lounge - we were treated like kings by and the rest of the team. We have stayed at a number of different hotels in Malaysia over the past 10 years or so but the Hard Rock is clearly superior to the others and we will be back there next year without doubt

Amazing! We chose the Hilton because it was conveniently located across the road from the airport express terminal, and offered 5 star luxury. It did not disappoint. From when we first arrived off a 13 hr flight and ordered room service, we were amazed by the quality of the food, the huge portions and how cheap it was compared to Europe. The following morning, the breakfast buffet overwhelmed us - there were 9-10 food stations covering cuisine from Europe, Malaysia, India, China, Japan - and impeccable service. Later that night, we visited Chinatown (bad move!) and my wife had here purse stolen from her handbag. We didn't realise until we got back to the hotel - no problem, the concierge paid the taxi and passed the receipt to reception to charge back to our room - amazing! The excellent band, Silver Gypsies, playing the in the lobby got us back into the romantic mood with a playlist of love songs, as did the complimentary glass of Moet for my wife to help her get over the distress of being pick pocketed - big shout out to the lobby bar! The hotel pool complex was fantastic - the longest serpentine pool ever - with a fun water slide. When we checked out, we never touched our bags once - they were loaded into the courtesy van and we were whisked next door to the train station where a porter took them to airline checkin and we were booked on our flight and free to spend the rest of the day sightseeing. One tip - make sure you have everything you need for your flight beforehand - it all happened so fast we forgot to retrieve our warmer clothes for the flight! Also, the Hilton website is not very specific about how to get to the hotel - they advise you to get the airport train, but neglect to tell you what to do next - I had to make a call from the UK (three times - transferred to reservations, then concierge, finally to reception) to get the basic information to go up one level and follow the signs to the Hilton.

The panaroma sea view villas were great, very private and awesome view. we booked through agoda 1.5 months earlier, however when we arrive, reception could not find our booking. after 15 minutes, they sent us to the lighthouse reception. we waited another 10 minutes as they couldn't find our booking as well. customer service had to call up their reservations department and was negotiating a villa for us. all this while i'm sitting in front of him :) for the price of each night's stay (~MYR 1200 pn), i would hv expected them to seat us comfortably with refreshments while we waited, since it was pretty obvious either Agoda or the hotel screwed up our reservation. however, i hv to say their staff was very polite throughout. i would just expect a 5 star hotel to be more customer oriented and focused. the villa itself was huge, but sticky floors and salt water smell from the toilet outlet was a lil overpowering. once we closed it with box over it, it was better. good number of selection in the breakfast buffet, however the food itself was not tasty. again, for a 5 star hotel and the price charged, it should hv been way better. due to this, we decided not to hv lunch or dinner at the hotel. lastly, they did take 5 days to cancel my initial deposit charged to my credit card during check-in. otherwise, the stay itself was great. we had a good time away to our selves. indoor villa pool and sauna was great. staff are polite and friendly.

This is our 3rd time stay in their Studio room since last December 2014. Previously was booked through directly from Hotel, but this time round the hotel rate slightly higher than Agoda (the staff told maybe because of GST). My family members are very satisfy with Weil hotel. We stayed with them when they are rated 3 star till 4 star currently. I think they should rate as 5 star hotel soon cos some of their facilities are still under construction! From the very first step of the hotel: Bellman, valet parking, check in, room, restaurant food (breakfast or dinner) till the last step of check out, I give 10/10!!! The performance of every staffs are doing the best to every guests, I think they should well trained before their serving! We are going Ipoh every month, for sure we will come back this hotel and never change!!! Besides, I also very expected to use their upcoming facilities!!! (THUMBS UP)

I booked through Agoda a One bedroom apartment at DeFace Suites. When we arrived we went to check in at the hotel reception and we're told that our booking was actually with Air Bnb- I had never been told or had seen Air Bnb mentioned anywhere. I felt slightly dumb when I was advised I needed to contact my Air Bnb host to get the key to the apartment- considering it was never mentioned anywhere that my Agoda booking was being directed to AirBnb? However the concierge desk were extremely helpful and ended up contacting 'host' and giving us our key. Despite this little hiccup with Agoda booking- Face Suites were absolutely incredible. Our apartment was so beautiful with stunning views of the city. As mentioned by everyone- the infinity pool on the 51st floor is breathtaking (however towels are not provided for DeFace apartment residents and only for Face Hotel guests) The location of DeFace is perfect- only a 10 minute walk to the iconic Twin Towers. It is also well known by any taxi driver we got home. We usually called Uber's and they are extremely cheap and would definitely recommend. We really had an incredible stay at Face Suites, which was such great value for money! Can not wait to return.

Hi, I would like to commend the staff at the Shangri-la Hotel in Malaysia for making my holiday one of the best that I have had yet. The rooms were excellent and the service second to none. We stayed at a number of different locations whilst visiting Malaysia and the Shangri-la was by far the best. This is truly a five star hotel and not one that leaves you disappointed. Congratulations to the Shangri-la's staff for the presentation on the presentation of the hotel. Next time I visit K/L I will ensure that this hotel is the only one that I spend my vocation at.
